OOC: From now on, I skip the annoying meeting requests The Peruvian Representative stepped into the Chinese president's office. "Hello, thank you for accepting my meeting request. As you know, Peru has been pushing for FTA talks with China and he has finally gotten enough support to start. So, I wish to discuss the possibility of signing a FTA. However, one condition that both the opposition party and the incumbent party agree on is a FTA agreement in everything but textiles, which will have trade barriers lowered slowly over 10 years so as not to affect Peru in employment." OOC: Yay for copy-paste Edited by Peru, Nov 23 2008, 03:07 AM.

OOC: That isn't an actual FTA though, only a symbolic trade agreement meant to increase trade, not to lower barriers. |
