to replace and complement the ageing Type 89, and completely replace the very old Type 64 battle rifle, Howa industries have been contracted to develop a new and high tech range of weapons, from a handgun, to a GPMG.
Also, a never before made ELECTRONIC SCOPE will be made for the HAR, and a longer range version for the sniper rifle. This scope will work with a camerca calibrated to be as accurate as possible, and mounted on a rail system ontop of the rifle.
The Sniper rifle will be very robust and strong, able to take long punishment and submersion for long periods of time.

Rate of Production: HAR(early-middle 2012) To equip all special forces soldiers and normal soldiers can purchase if out of their wages (normal purchases will come without the electronic scope but that can also be purchased for a small price)
HH (early 2013) small arms for emergency truck drivers, but HSMG will probably take this spot
HSMG(mid 2012) main side arm for special forces.
HSR(mid 2013) main sniper rifle for special forces.
HNTK(late 2013) main GPMG to replace the NTK-62 and FM minimi
