Shocking images came from an anonymous source near the heart of Saudi Arabia, from one of Shari'a courts. A woman, accused with little evidence of sexual deviance with several older men, had her lower half brutally amputated with a rusty saw. The anonymous source left notes of "how her screams echoed off the cold stone walls as if she were possessed by the devil himself. I was left speechless. This abomination of human rights could not be left unnoticed." This event has quickly gained media attention, and several civil rights organizations across the world are taking notice. Some believe this may be the hair that broke the camel's back, so to speak; such a brutish act could force the Sauds to allow an investigation into the judicial system and to the civil rights issues that have come up over the years. The Saudi government has refused to provide a statement at this time. Edited by Saudi Arabia, Oct 15 2008, 09:46 PM.
