The National Port Authority & Bureau of Maritime Affairs has been put under a new ministry called the Min. of Ports & Maritime Affairs. It will be headed Louise Marie and will handle all maritime issues within the Liberian EEZ. The first act of the minister was to ban all dumping into the lakes and rivers of Liberia. She has also added regulations to the passage of ships into all Liberian ports. The ships will now be checked for illegal drugs.

In an effort to control the crime going on within the nation, the Liberian Government will hire 500 new police officers and 250 new firefighters. These will hopefully help Liberia gain stability and peace.

The Jail and Correctional Facility Commission has been created by the Law Enforcement act after UN troops were attacked by the West Side Boyz, a local gang that terrorizes whites in Liberia and Sierra Leone. The act has strengthened the training and requirements to be a Police Officer and a Fire Fighter. The government hopes that this will increase security and will help the Liberian economy improve.

The bill calls for the JCFC (mentioned above), which has been put under the Ministry of Justice, will help build and maintain Liberian Jails and correctional facilities (eventually to come). With 3% of the Justice Ministry's budget, the JCFC will use the money to build new jails and improve the quality of the ones Liberia already has.

The bill also adds rapid response to the LNPF and the LNFD.
