War on Drugs may Affect Economy

With the president recently declaring a war on drugs, it may have a severe effect on the Mexican Economy. Much of it is composed of the drug runners in the country, however if the drug problem is fixed, no one knows what will happen. Will it become bigger or worse? More at 7.

Mexico starts Glass Industry

Recently, a large glass producing firm located in Central Mexico has decided, with approval from the government, that they will be using vast amounts of sand from the desert and melting it to form glass. This will hopefully increase the Mexican economy for next year, and create many jobs.
