The military has been deployed to Mexico City and Tijuana. All major routes to the US and Guatemala have been turned into armed checkpoints. All vehicles entering or leaving the country will be searched. The schools in all cities will now be educated about narcotics, and a background check will be run on most police officers.

Posts: 1,176 Group: Members Member #22 Joined: Oct 3, 2008 Currency Peso Capital Mexico City Population 108,783,500 GDP (Nominal) $893.4 Billion Nominal Per Capita $8,479	Federal Police Act of 2008 Yesterday Afternoon, the President signed an act passed by congress that will allow police officer's of any city to stop and search anyone on the streets that seems suspicious of relation to drug activity. The President hopes that this will severely decrease drug dealing and activity throughout the country. Mexico has also received much aid from numerous countries, and this money will be used for increased police salaries and better equipment.

Unemployed people will be ordered to find a job and be given a small amount of money to last them a month. The minimum wage has been increase to 60 pesos in Zone A, 55 in Zone B, and 50 in Zone C.

It will try and borrow help from neighboring countries, and get commercial satellites in space, plus send a man into orbit possibly by 2015.
