The Al Mukhabarat Al A'amah, or the General Intelligence Directorate, is the pre-eminent intelligence agency of the government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The GID is one of the security apparatuses in Saudi Arabia that aims first and foremost to provide security and stability, and to work towards preserving the gains of the homeland inside and outside the kingdom.
