WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, MISSOURI, USA - 0144 LOCAL TIME The planes idled as their pilots entered into the cockpits. Buckling up, they received the "thumbs-up" from the men on the tarmac. Slowly, but surely, the five American B-2 Spirit bombers rolled onto the runway and one by one, took off into the night sky. The five bombers flew south/south-west at the height of 30,000 feet and at near subsonic speeds. The Mexicans had no idea what they had started. In not too long, the Mexican Army began to notice the B-2s flying in and out of radar near San Luis Potosí, in the state of San Luis Potosí. Unable to track the heavy bombers with any amount of accuracy, the Mexican Army began to open AA fire on the bombers near San Luis Potosí as well as Mexico City, in a desperate attempt to stop the bombing. As the B-2s approached the Mexican capital, the bombing bay doors began to open and the weapons were prepared. Fifteen miles from the Mexican capital, the bombers launched six of their eight Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) missiles at specific strategic targets such as the Mexican defense building, the presidential residence, and other state buildings. The clear night made the bombing easy, but the JDAM can operate and hit its target regardless of the weather conditions. Even before the JDAMs acquired their targets, the B-2s had turned around and headed back north to Whiteman AFB. With two JDAMs left over each, they were under orders to attack specific Mexican military installations within 50 miles of the Rio Grande. With many AA batteries and other installations neutralized, the B-2s had already safely landed at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. ------------------------------- Please Note for ALL Battles - YOU RP your military and civilian losses - YOUR ENEMY RPs their military and civilian losses - RPing your enemy's losses is considered "godmodding" and is illegal on this forum. - Longer the better!
