 By 2016 The PLAN plans to have 4 fast reaction fleets in service. These will be centered around a aircraft carrier and 1 or 2 amphibious assault ships. They will have advanced destroyers,Frigates,Cruisers,Submarines and the like to support them. New designs are to be commissioned and research is to begin on something to meld various systems together to form something like the Aegis.
