(O.O.C.: Maybe I have been playing too much Armored Core? Read on to see what I mean.) Razorback Cockpit Rikki and Tal were running combat and performance tuning protocols, as well as downloading any possible updates for the A.I.I.I. in order to further enhance the Razorback's performance. They had three different programmed tunings which, upon activating certain locked functions of their ships, could boost response time, and different aspects of the ship's standard capabilities. Tal looked at the horizontal bar graph on the sensor display and worked on making two additional settings. One of which was a high shield and weapon boost at the cost of substantial speed and maneuverability, but the power would be rerouted to repairs, shielding and all mounted weapons. The second was the opposite. It stripped shielding and repair rates in exchange for enhanced speed, maneuverability, and firepower. With that setup, the Razorback would nearly match Rikkura's Katana's speed, but he couldn't afford to get hit once really. He didn't like tuning the ship this way, but he really had no choice but to set that up in an emergency for darting out of combat. Of course, if things got REAL bad, he could reroute ALL power to engines and really book it, but the turning rate would also get cut down. Once the finished the tuning on the ships, Tal activated his nano-armor and decided to retune it as well. He remembered a time when playing a game on Earth called Armored Core Last Raven where the boss was insanely fast, and he had to forgo most medium range weapons, and gun the enemy with close range machine guns. As he thought about that, he realized that though it was a game, tuning his armor that way could probably make him nearly untouchable. It's one thing to control a mechanized weapon in a game, but if you take that and apply it in reality where you are in true control of the weapon, you could do things games couldn't. He grinned as he imagined the movement settings he was setting up. He was able to reduce repair rate slightly, maximize thruster power, weaken the shields about 30% and prioritize close range combat. Sure, he kept his plasma rifle set to medium range and rate of fire, but the power that didn't go to his thrusters would go straight to his weapon output, and especially to his blades and plasma flux whips. It also managed to boost the Arm-mounted shield by about 5%. He thought about it, then decided that he'd drop the shield output 5% from what it originally was and increase the blade output an astonishing 20%. Granted that dropped his rifle about 9%, but the speed could easily make up for it. Talamaeus' settings totaled to a 55% increase in mobility, 75% increase in close range capability, and overall firepower, blade included, by 33%. The only sensor modification he made was to boost the refresh rate to nearly real-time with his foresight allowing about 35 seconds in battle prediction. The display only showed about 4 possible outcomes as forward, back, left and right, but it was enough for him. Rikkura worked on raising her sensor range, detection, and refresh rate. She also heavily boosted mobility and weapon output for her sniping. Sniper set-ups usually were softer than middle-weights like Tal's, but with the tuning she was committing, her defense was about 15% lower than normal for sniper armor, but it would maneuver faster and with less delay than her mate's armor. She had managed to raise the range of her weapons by 65%, maneuverability 75%, and sensors were boosted to an astounding 400% of normal operation, and with an added ability to predict the enemy's intended movements and attacks, in addition to her natural foresight ability. With those two things in tandem, she could see nearly 2 minutes further in battle prediction than normal. She was also used to having multiple readings on target's attack possibilities shown as a star pattern extending from the solid red contact brackets. The predicted possibilities were displayed as a faint red triangle lock about six centimeters apart and extending about six brackets out, but the main contact would be a solid red triangle bracket. The star pattern was in all directions on a 3 dimensional compass which showed forward, back, up, down, left, right, and all diagonal in-betweens. They both thought at the same moment the only issue with the predictive readings. Lock-on time was cut down to about 75% of the normal 0.003 second rate that was average for all nano-armor. Those modifications always reduced the lock time to about 0.225 seconds, only slightly less than a quarter of a second. Luckily, the weapons didn't require lock-on to hit the target, since they were manually aimed. All the lock-on system really did was guide their arms to the best possible spot to hit the target while moving, much like a lead-indicator icon in fighters with fixed weapons. Once they were satisfied with all of their tuning, they powered off their armor and awaited orders. Edited by Talamaeus-Laeraxius, 17 Oct 2011, 12:55 AM.

Some Where In Space "WHAT is that?" Edith asks as she looks at some thing moving at them. The beast looked like a dog with the head like a lion and a tail of a lizard. It wasn't moving fast but it was fore sure moving towards them. Edith moved Valrek and herself into was the best possible way to defend them both and took out a rock knife she had made. "Whats going on? The sound is getting closer." Valrek states and asks with some what of a curious tone about him. "No time for small talk. We have a beast heading right for us and it doesn't look all to friendly." Edith says. She has Valrek up against the wall in a little hole in the wall, with herself between him and the beast. She is hoping her eyes are playing tricks and the beast isn't heading towards them. "Ok, when its within striking distance I'm going to attack. I know this isn't Federation protocol, but this is a win or die time Admiral." Edith says, just in time for it to come within her leaping distance. However, right before she leaps the beast stops. "You don't need that rock. I am not here to hurt you. You are trapped here like me." The voice that Edith and Valrek heard came from the beast before them. Edith lowers her guard but doesn't but the rock up. "I am Admiral Valrek of the United Federation of Planets. This is my Fleet Commander, Fleet Captain Edith Foss." Valrek states. He can see somewhat now, however things are still blurry for him. The beast looks at Edith and then to Valrek answering. "I am Motuo of the Gamma Quadrant. I have been stuck here for 3 of your months now. It is a maze.....A labyrinth. I believe I have found a way out, I am not sure. It is a door, however it has some puzzle that I cannot do by myself. I heard voices, something I have not heard in a long time so I came looking and found you." Motuo answered Valrek with a tone that was calm, smooth, and friendly. |

SSD Tovi Moa looks to Ein “Set course for the Trans warp hub, once though prep the slipstream drive. A few hours later at an undisclosed location Moa walked in to an ordinary enough looking office but he knew better, this was a Temporal Investigations Office and not just any agent’s office; this office belonged to Director of Temporal Intelligence Gariff Lucsly, who was sitting behind his desk, Lucsly does not look up as he speaks “Your timing is impeccable as always Moa “Time agents and their jokes, and this is not the time, Valrek and Edith have been taken.” Moa says very gruffly looking at the grizzled old fart behind the desk who snorts then retorts with “It was no joke I was just about to call you, I know Valrek is gone I have seen it and it is not good look at this.” Says Lucsly s he calls up a very classified temporal sensor record of Valrek’s disappearance, to say that Moa was upset before he was pissed now “IS that” but Moa is cut off. “Yes but look at the quantum signature.” Says Lucsly Moa looks at the signature “Mirror Universe.” Edited by Moa Tovi, 22 Oct 2011, 06:34 PM.

The Aquaren ships left Delta 1 and met up with Valreks search team. Meanwhile Korak met with General Korok of the Independant Unimatrix, who chose to stay on Delta 1 should the need for the assistance of Klingons to defend the station arose, since the Korak, and Korok, both held a great deal of Influence in the Klingon Empire. After Captain Elric left, Marak Revast said, "Admiral, you and Fleet Captain Korak, from what I can tell have known each other for quite some time, but I don't remember you being in Admiral Valreks original task force those decades ago so how do you know Fleet Captain Korak, was it during his High Council days, earlier than the task force, or when he commanded the Vladivostok for 2 years." |

Alert tones sound and echo though Delta One Ops. "Sir! Multiple distress signals on long range comms; Mostly civilian ships, I can't count them all!" The Communication Officer says. "Where are they coming from, Lieutenant?" Vincent asks. "Centauri Station, Sir. In the Vorn System." Jackie and Kat, shit! "Sir! I have Captain T'vox of the U.S.S Virginia coming though. I'm putting it on screen." The Lieutenant says as the main screen in ops flickers to life revealing a Vulcan Captain and his damaged bridge with crews bustling to put out fires behind him. "What the hell happened?" Vincent asks. "Dominion ships, sir. They showed up so fast, we didn't have much time to set up a defense. We gathered what survivors we could off the station and rounded up the civilian ships that could make the trip. We still have a small force in space and on the station that bought us time to escape. But the station is all but lost at this point." The Captain reports. "What is the status of your ship, are there any other Federation ships with you?" "We have four decks exposed to space, six have fires throughout, rear torpedoes are offline, phasers are operating at half power, and shields are just about to fail. The Thunderchild and the Citadel are the only ships that were not too damaged to escort us. They sustained minor damage." T'vox says. "Captain you have two minutes for your ship and those two to drop off their wounded and set course back to Centauri Station." Vincent orders rolling up his sleeves and partially unzipping his flight suit revealing the black body armor underneath. "Sir! With all due-" "I do NOT like paying for real estate twice! Not now, not ever, and sure as hell not in MY sector block! We are keeping that station Captain, that is an order. Patton out." The screen goes black as Vincent turns to the comms officer. "Send word to the Nimitz, Ottowa, Kristoff, Retribution, Renegade, Paris Island, Iwo Jima, Pioneer, Sherman, and Pershing put them at full alert and maximum warp to Centauri Station. Tell them to be ready for a fight." Vincent orders as he presses on a screen on the inside left wrist of his body armor. "Commander, you have you office back for a little bit." "Sir, where are you going?" "To fight." Vincent says as he vanishes from Ops to the bridge of the Valkyrie. He steps off the transporter pad and is met almost immediately by Clyde. "We got ground forces on the station still. They've taken light losses and have linked up with a group of MACOs and are defending the hell out of Ops. They don't know the status of any Federation ships in the area. They were able to set off the station's distress beacon for a few minutes before it was disabled so any Federation ships nearby will be there by the time we do." Clyde says before Vincent has a chance to ask. "What abou-" "Our guys have Jackie and Kat there with them in Ops. Their status is unknown at this time they were cut off by heavy fire." "How long to get there at max speed?" "About two hours." "They don't got two minutes, let's move." |

Revast If i were to answer questions about what I have done over the last few years mainly the ones so classified I am technically not allowed to know them as they are even above my clearance level," a very clever lie, being raised on Vulcan has it benefits, one of witch was Tyr mastering his emotions, well sort of, "The Gunny in my outer office would have to kill you for hearing them and me for remembering them well talking about them." The looks Revast in the eye "And if you ever ask about the years you don't have acess to in my file that i just sent you tailored of course to your clearance level," Tyr motions for Revast to come closer and he dose "I will have the Gunny make your neck wet while you sleep Understood?" After the successful docking of his shuttle craft in the shuttle bay one 13 of 20 emerges. His appearance due to his obvious borg implants causes the Bajoran ensign Kroght who reaches for his phaser. 13 of 20 noticing the movements of the ensign speaks calmly. "There will be no need for that. I am not a threat." He then turns to move toward the exit with the intent to head toward the bridge. "Don't move!" Ensign Kroght announced quickly while holding his phaser toward 13 of 20. Kroght then proceeds to call for security. "Security. We have an intruder." 13 of 20 looks toward Kroght. "I am Lt. Commander 13 of 20 of the Federation assigned to the USS Phoenix NCC-92690 as Chief Security/Tactical Officer. Now if you do not mind I would like nothing more than to report to my post." Noticing that Kroght was unmoving. "Or we can wait for the security team to arrive." After a couple of moments the security team arrives and 13of 20 Announces his rank and assignment. The security team leads 13 of 20 to the bridge. After the door to the bridge opens 13 of 20 stands at attention. "Permission to board. Sir."
