"No I cannot tell you anything else. Anything further Admiral Heckroth will have to provide the information. Also I don't know who SSD is. Starfleet Intelligence is still trying to figure out what and who they are Major."

Valrek stated as he took another sip of his tea. Foss moved back to her spot while waiting.

The Aquaren Major then calmly stated, "Then why did they have the authority to receive my prisoner, I would have gladly handed over my prisoner to Captain Elric and his forces. I trust Starfleet but I do not trust SSD, if they continue with this brash behavior, I and the Aquaren Defense Force as a whole, will not consider them part of the Federation and if they make any aggressive move towards us, they would be considered an enemy combatant and subject to fire.

Korak looked at the Aquaren hologram like it had just turned into a moose. Korak then said, "I know you Aquarens may be about 50 years ahead of us but the SSD are using ships that would each give the Phoenix a substantial beating in a head to head battle. To fight an SSD ship may be quite dangerous despite how advanced Aquaren technology is."

Foss steps forward towards the holograms.

"Major, you do what you have to. SSD is not apart of the Federation. You just heard the Admiral state that."

Tyr nods "My staff and I will be ready to depart with in the hour, Admiral Akaar of all people should understand the situation."

Tyr dose not look at Korak, for he looks odd, "If I remember right it was not out of your back, it was out of your ass, and you had it coming, you decked him first, and it was a bar fight you both were drunk." he says then turns and leaves the ready room with Gunny Galindez

Korak looked to Admiral Sheridan and said, "You never said during that outing that I should lay off the bloodwine, and you kept accepting the shots of Tholian tequila, and Rigelian whiskey that I kept buying you. Curzon Vak was pissed like no other back then. Adrela won't even let me get away with that night. If we really want to talk about that night, I can always mention the women from Vordela Prime, who were well endowed with well 4."

The Aquaren turned to the Korak hologram and said, "4 is just childs-play for most defense force officers, you must have never visited Zokela 2, the women have 6 because women on that planet have at least 3 children at a time.

Colonel Revast said, "Fleet Captain, Major, now is not the time to compare hookers, we have a war going on, and we have to deal with that in the here and now, and Captain Korak has family obligations that should keep him from seeing hookers in the near future regardless of what race he spends the rest of his life as."

Tyr lets out a laugh as the doors open and they step out, their first stop was back to his office.

Tyr looks around "OK boys pack up, we are heading to Delta One, with out the ship, the Phoenix will be taking Valrek to DS9, let head to CAL gear up then grab a shuttle." he says and he walks in to his private office to grab is favorite Bat'leth mounted behind his desk he then slings it to his back, they all head out in tot he hall with Tyr being the last to leave, he turns to look at the door "Computer seal my office security protocol Victor One Alpha." the computer prompts for his code "Sheridan-97-Alpha-99-Theta" the computer signals that his office is sealed the group then heads to Tyr's Quarters where he packs a light bag "I will stow this on the runabout Sir" says Corporal Callaghan, Tyr nods "Meet us in my lab." says Tyr as he hands his bag and Bat'leth to Callaghan who then heads for the main shuttle bay while Tyr and the rest head down to his lab.

Heckroth flies her mobilesuit out, towing Roxy's unit along with the thelp of the three other Zaku Providence units. They ahd received orders and were following it, she decided to take two of the Phoenix's wings with her, Spectre and Daemon wings, their best units. She sees the twin formations of advanced Super Valkyrie Class federation fighters headed towards the EIFS Heckroth as ordered, She banks her unit slowly towards the Comman Assault Carrier, she opens a channel. :cf: Colonel heckroth to all members of the federation taking part in the Delta 1 taskforce, Wraith team is down one pilot... Lieutenant commander nemkova is KIA, this means we must fight harder and better, we will be doing continuous tactical flight practices and rotations in the simulation rooms of the Heckroth for the pilots who are under my command, any other members are welcome to join the Eritrean equivalents to their divisions in their training, i,ve spoken with Admiral heckroth and he has put the ship's resources at our disposal during the trip. All fighter pilots will get 8 hours sleep immediately upon arrival aboard training will begin in exactly ten hours. :cf: she closes the comms and banks the mobilesuit, gliding it towards the open maw like doors of the port side hangar bay of the EIFS Heckroth

EIFS HECKROTH

Thanatos watches her sister arriving, he knows she's still furious but has taken it out on the ennemy enough for the time, her anger was typical of the Shaaral Shaqui, strong, fierce, barely controlled at times but easily sated if need be, a force that could be used as a formidable tool in wartime, hence why she is one of her peoples most skilled pilots. he opens a channel to admiral Sheridan :cf: Thanatos to Sheridan, you and your men are welcome to use my ship as a flagship for this trip :cf:

A turbo lift ride and a few minutes later everyone was at the outside of the lab, the door to the lab was not hooked in to the main computer but in to C.A.L (Contained Automated Lab) run by a V.I (Virtual Intelligence) the door opens after a sensor beam scans all five, a voice different from the ships main computer "Welcome Admiral Sheridan" C.A.L's male voice says as the party enters the lights dim for Vrek being Reman his eyes are still very light sensitive whose glasses tint lighten "Much better many thanks" he says even though C.A.L is just a really good program.

Hamish Callaghan a Andorian, looks at Tyr, smiles with antennae moving "Nice new base sir, how did you swing this?" he asks while looking at this size of the lab and guessing what Sheridan can do with it not realizing the upper deck, Tre'gok spots his locker, "Good our gear is here."

"When I scanned Hector earlier I was able to access the PADD he had on him and saw the orders, so I had taken the initiative and pulled all your armor specs out and rebuilt them with a few things that Admiral Sheridan has added to his most impressive generation of armor yet." Responds C.A.L

There are five armor lockers, Tyr's being in the center, they all walk up to their lockers and they each places his hand on the lock the units scan them then open up and unfolds to reveal a platform that they step on to and into the soles of their armor boots, then the magic so to speak begins.

They all extend their arms while machines begin to assemble armor, ten mechanical arms on each locker extend, four of them begin on the legs, two for each leg front and back, two arms are working on the torso one for the front and one for the back, while the last four works on the arms, the process takes about fifteen seconds, all pieces but the helmet are in place and locked, the finished look was all one piece there were no seams.

Tre'gok's armor is styled in traditional Klingon combat armor, colored in shades of red. Vrek whom was big before was massive in his armor witch looked like a second skin and showing all of his large muscles, black and grey in color, Callaghan's armor was dark blue in color and form fitting, Hector’s armor made him look as big as a Klingon and all black in color, while Tyr's armor was black, red and gold in color and styled in Japanese Samurai and he clips his katana and matching wakizashi to his waist.

Tyr taps a spot near his neck on his armor and the helmet forms also styled in Samurai, the rest do the same, then retract their helmets, :cf: Thanatos to Sheridan, you and your men are welcome to use my ship as a flagship for this trip. :cf:

:cf: "Sounds good, I will dock my runabout with your ship, see you in fifteen minutes Admiral, thanks." :cf:

The squad heads out to the runabout and boards Tyr sits in the pilot's seat the Gunny takes the copilots spot the others take their posts, Sheridan taps a few keys and brings the runabout up to power and readies the craft for takeoff and is granted clearance to leave the Phoenix from Lt Commander Danzo Trufor :cf: "Keep the porch light on for me Trufor." :cf: And closes the link as he glides the ship out of the bay and heads over to the EIFS Heckroth, then hails the ship, :cf: "This is the runabout Starhawk requesting permission to dock." :cf:

These things I do, that others may live.

Quarters, Valkyrie

Vincent steps out of the shower grabbing a towel from a nearby hook. Wrapping it around his waist he steps up to the mirror across from the shower. He checks himself to see if he missed any blood stains. Then he notices the bruises covering his body most of them over vital areas. If he hadn't been wearing his body armor he wouldn't be standing there. He presses a hand to them noting their tenderness then turns to leave. Still in his towel he walks out into his room and up to the equipment he discarded onto the floor and begins to clean up. His weapons he unloads their energy batteries then places them on a table to be cleaned. He then begins to pick up his body armor and places it on the rack close to the stairwell to his office above. The rack itself was designed so he could just literally step into the armor and it would form around his body. He places the pieces in their proper places then grabs a rag and begins cleaning his armor wiping the blood and scuff marks away without too much effort. He looks it over searching for any damage to the exposed muscle-like fibers and armor plating covering vital areas and is not surprised when he finds none. He's been checking his armor like this for years and has yet to find anything damaged after a fight. Those Xeph Corp. guys know their stuff he remarks as he continues to clean.

You're supposed to be in bed. His AI interrupts the long silence.

I'll sleep when I'm dead. Let me finish this up and I'll go. Ok? Vincent using his thoughts quips back.

No, you go now or I'm gonna lock the room down until you sleep or I'll have someone come sedate you. Your armor and weapons will be here when you wake up dirt and all. She says threateningly. Vincent stops cleaning and drapes the rag over the piece of armor he was working on. He couldn't win. He knew damn well she would not do just one of those threats. She would do both.

Alright, alright. I'm going. He gets up wearily and walks to his bed and sits down. He turns and fluffs up a pillow before laying down.

We're two days out from DS9. I'm watching your vitals. They better not show anything above you sleeping for at least ten hours. Understand me? She scolds him.

Yes, dear. He replies as he turns over.

Good boy.

Korak's hologram still engaged said, "Admiral Valrek, the Aquaren forces are standing by here at Delta 1 to be our first line of defense and since it seems as though, they will get here before you all will, how long after we are engaged by the enemy do you expect the reinforcements to arrive?"

The Aquaren major scoffed at Korak and said, "How dare you place little faith in the Aquaren Guard, we are a strong, noble, loyal, and honorable people. We will not easily be defeated."

Korak said in a slightly annoyed tone, "I made no effort to insinuate any sort of deficiency among your men, but I need to know for how long we have to hold on, just in case the gahg hits the fan."

The Aquaren cocks his head to the side and said, "What is gahg?"

Marak Revast replied, "Look it up in your database of Klingon records, if you don't look it up, then Gahg is your mother. Computer close the channel with the Aquaren, we have better stuff to do then bicker over how amazing the Aquarens are."

The Aquaren only had time to say, "I obje........." before his hologram fizzled away.

Korak said, "Thank you, Mr. Revast, now Admiral, how long do you anticipate that our wait will be?"

"Lets go back in" Eisenhower stated. "Captain, while I know you are in command, did you not hear the Dominion Captain? He clearly stated he did not want me back in the room. Do you think it wise to antagonize him? I am not sure that will get any information from him" responded Tredan. Eisenhower containing both a smile and his irritation at the young Lieutenant replied "You are absolutely correct Mister! I am in command here. But what you missed in that Captain's voice was his admiration for you. He respects you, yet you are a threat to him. We need that. It will keep him off balance and he will let information slip that he otherwise would not. And in answer to your question....YES......I want to antagonize the arrogant prick. He feels superior and having you return albiet against his wishes, will lower that superiority some. Having YOU ask the next round of questions will reduce it even more. Now, lets go in there and I want you to sit where I was, directly across from him. If he looks at you as you enter, smile warmly at him. Let him know that you are happy I did not take his advice. Now let's not keep the good Captain waiting any longer." "Aye Aye Sir" replied Tredan.

Entering the room, Tredan looked directly at the Dominion Captain making eye contact. Even though Tredan felt a level of fear, caused by the Dominion Captain's stare, he knew he was in control. Smiling, he calmly stated as he took the seat directly in front of the Dominion Captain, "Shall we continue Kaluk’etan." "Why is this THING brought back before me. I said he was NOT to be in my presence again" exclaimed Kaluk’etan. "Lieutenant Tredan is in charge of this interview. It was his decision not mine" responded Eisenhower. Kaluk’etan's anger was rising. That was both good and bad....but a chance Eisenhower had to take. He needed intel now!

USS Phoenix

Valrek glaced back at Revast when he ordered the channel with the Aquarens closed, then looked at Korak.

"Contact Admiral Sheridan. I'v left him incharge of this quadrant until Marhsal Patton or myself return. The Phoenix and I are heading to DS9 to oversee defenses. Valrek out."

Valrek taps a button on his desk and closes the channels open. He then turns to Revast.

"Mister the next time you think that you want to close a channel that I am talking to. I suggest your leave the room. Or I will have you guarding a barracks room."

He stands up and looks at Foss.

"Well the time we have feared is her Edith. What your mother all those years trained you for and showed you all those things. Will you be able to perform your duty if the need arises?"

Foss's face turns cold and sad. I tear begins to form.

"Admiral.....I'm not sure. And I know I must do it if needed and I know Joshua won't be able to do it. It is against his programming."

Foss's voice was shaky. She had tears coming down her face, it was clear she didn't want to do what had been asked of her to do.

"Edith if you don't then the foundations of the Division would fall. Federation secrets would be out in the open. The Federation itself could fall, should some of the information come to light. I need to know you will do what you must...What you must do to protect the Federation above all else. What is our moto? Remember it always."

Valrek stated as he was gathering up some PADDs. Meanwhile on the bridge.

"Helm set course for Deep Space 9 Max Slip. Engage once we are clear of the station."

The 2nd officer ordered. Helm nodded and typed quickly on her console.

"Slip in 5....4...3...2...1..."

The ship jumped for a second. The dampeners still couldn't comp for such an acceleration.

"We shall arrive at DS9 in 2days."

Helm stated. Back in the captains ready room Valrek had stopped what he was doing and was looking at Foss.

"Valrek I don't think its ri...."

Joshua starts but is interrupted by Valrek.

"She took an oath. She knew everything when she did. She swore to hold the protection of the Federation her highest mission and that she would do what was needed."

"I'm not going to kill you. I can't. I won't. It won't come to that. It just won't. There will always be an out. Always."

Foss interrupted, now crying and her body was shaking. Valrek looked at Joshua.

"It was your advise that we went forward with her being the one to do it. Edith...If I'm captured by her forces directly not by some bounty hunters, but by her forces directly there will be nothing anyone can do. You will have to perform your duty and make sure the information I hold is not released. That is your sworn duty to me, to the division, and to the Federation above all else. I'm old Edith. I'v lived well past 200 and still I'm in good health. But nothing will stop me from telling them what she wants to know. We still haven't come up with counter to her markXXVI probe."

Valrek sat down and began to go over the PADDs he had gathered.

"Joshua take and handle the training of the Marines. I was going to do it but....."

He puts a hand toward Foss. Joshua nods.

"I'm on it....."

He walks towards the door and it opens. Just before he steps out he looks at Valrek with a cold hard face and says.

"And you called me heartless once before. Now who is the heartless one."

The door closes behind him as he walks through the bridge he gets stared at by those that heard his comment.

Meanwhile on Deep Space 9 Jake was busy writing up the new story about his father returning for the Starfleet times. Ben was getting to reknow his wife somewhat and getting to know his youngest son. General Kira Nerys was busy in ops organizing the defenses of her home system and the blockade of the wormhole on both sides. We a station now on both sides of the wormhole and communications able to happen btw, her job was not as hard as it was in the old days.

<<<Delta 1>>>

Korak once the channel with Korak was closed said, "Computer, hail Admiral Sheridan, and make it a holographic channel if possible."
The opening phase of the message was, "The Aquarens and I were wondering how long we have between the time we will be engaged by the enemy and your arrival, so essentially how long the Aquarens need to last, before you all can save the day."

<<<USS Phoenix>>>
Slight back-post

Revast said, "Sir, I was only doing what I perceived to be your wishes as the Aquaren was being a pest."
He followed Valrek silently as he heard the various exchanges. He was hoping that Delta 1 would be able to survive the battle, but knew he had to have faith in the Aquarens.

<<<Delta 1>>>
Korak turned to his window and noticed what he thought may be ships off in the distance. He tapped his combadge and said, approaching ships, on viewer, maximum magnification, also warn the Aquarens that we will be having company and to have their guns ready."

To Be Continued............................

These things I do, that others may live.

Vincent...Wake up...

Vincent stirs slightly in his sleep.

Vincent..

He turns over on his side with a moan.

Vincent!

He shoots upright grabbing the phaser pistol that rests on the nightstand next to his bed.

"What!?" He says looking around the room bleary eyed.

Sorry to wake you dear, but there's an urgent message from Shooter Squadron up in your office. It was heavily encrypted and took me several hours to decode. It can't wait. Naomi says to him in an apologetic, yet very serious tone. At that point he knew something was wrong. Putting the pistol back on the nightstand Vincent rises from bed and deftly jogs up the spiral staircase to his office rubbing his face to rid all traces that he was just asleep.

"How long was I out?" He asks taking a seat at his desk.

Just over elven hours. It's 0445.

"Damn..what's the deal with this message?" He asks pulling up the access screen to the message on his desk.

It was sent on such a highly encrypted and narrow beam they're lucky it even reached us. I had a hell of a time decoding it even with help from the ships computer so I know that it would take any other ship years to decypher it. Given that, this tells me this was meant for you and you only.

"Play message."

The screen on the desk flickers to life and the face of Shooter Squadron's Commander appeared.

"Warwolf One, Shooter One. Be advised we have completed our sweep of the Pelia Sector Block. Deano's* unusually quiet given this is the closest thing they have to a foothold outside Fluidic Space. We found a facility in the Kuda System. Not sure if it's Deanos or someone else's. Signs point to heavy fighting all over the place inside. But there's a problem you have to see."

The camera facing the Commander shifts and shakes as it is moved to show a small room full of tables with bodies on them. Several with Starfleet uniforms on them. The camera continues to shift until it stops over top one body in particular. Vincent feels his stomach drop through the floor in immediate recognition of who the body is. The message continues.

"DNA results match up 100% with the Commander in Chief of Starfleet. With the amount of decomposition of the bodies here, I figure they've been here for at least seven or eight months. We are not completely sure who owned this facility but whoever the current CIC is, it's not really him. He's either an Trike* in disguise or X has managed to adapt this technology and hes really one of her people. Either way it ain't good. Please advise. Shooter out."

The screen goes dark leaving Vincent sitting there speechless.

What are your orders? Naomi breaks the silence in his head.

"Send a message on the same beam and encryption back to Shooter. Have them collect all bodies with the utmost care and respect. Collect everything useful from the facility then destroy it. Then immediately transit to DS9 at emergency speed."

Should we inform Starfleet?

"Hell no, not yet. That would cause way too much trouble. We don't know how far this goes."

Should we tell Valrek?

"...I don't know..."

USS Phantom

"Ma'am we communications station 3 says they may have a stage 2 Alpha communications......"

The Ops Chief on the Phantom states to the Captain. He pauses as he works his console and continues.

"...Apparently they picked up a Hyper narrow beam wave which could have encrypted communications on it. They are attempting further clean up the signal to determine if it does, however they stated they may never be able to clean up enough to make a determination."

The chief stops speaking looking at the Captain in her chair. She spins and looks at Ops.

"Inform CS6 they have the full means of the ship. I want answer before we arrive at DS9. Once we arrive I have a meeting with Caesar and I want to tell him more than a ghost, Mr. Goodman."

She then stands and walks into her ready room.

USS Phoenix

"Edith, There is someone I want you to meet once we arrive at DS9. However, for now I'm going to my bed."

Moving forward by 2 hrs. We have arrived at DS9. Please make sure if u need to do a backpost u do it soon. We need to move forward.

2 Hours Later

"Sir we have arrived in the Bajoran System and are being hailed by General Kira."
"On screen Mrs. Tangers."

The OIC ordered to the young female Ensign at Ops. The main bridge crew had taken a few hours to rest before arriving at DS9. On the screen appeared an image of the old stations OPS and General Kira standing there.

:cf: Welcome to Deep Space 9. I'm sending you docking orders and procedures. I wish your presence was under better circumstances. OPS out. :cf:

The screen goes blank as the Phoenix arrives withing range to begin docking.

"Send to Marshal Patton's flag the docking orders and procedures. Advice him that his task group will have to beam crew aboard the station. Also advise the main bridge crew and the Admiral we have arrived at DS9."

The OIC orders.
