Delta One, Commanding Officers Office

"Alright people, listen up." Vincent rises from his desk to garner attention from everyone in the office. He points at both Adm. Tucker and Capt. Elric.

"You two, I want you both to head up the investigation and search. Take the Essex and the Phoenix out. I will assign you four SSD ships to assist you. Whatever else you will need, it will be provided. Just let me know. Find out how they were taken and how we can prevent it from happening again, because we are all in danger of being taken at this point. One of our priorities is to get Valrek and Foss back alive, the more we sit here and talk about it decreases the chances of that. Go now. Second, we are the first line of defense here. We need to boost what we got. I've already called in some reinforcements from my end which should be arriving shortly, but I need the Federation to actually commit to this. Words don't stop weapons fire. Tyr, you are going to be on top of requisitioning more ships, equipment, and personnel. Whatever you can pull up, have at it. We are going to need it. As to your question Captain Elric, I do not know where she could be at or going. It's taken me more than twenty years of extra-curricular activities during my time with the Federation, making my alliances and fighting, to drive her forces out of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. I have only seen her one time. There are only two places she could have gone, the Gamma or Delta Quadrants. Two very large and very unexplored areas just ripe to do whatever she wants. That brings up another thing, Tyr, convince Starfleet to bolster defenses around the wormhole. If shes not based out here, I bet shes gonna be in the Gamma Quadrant and that wormhole is the only known place we can use to get there. Lt. Cmdr. El-Nar, choose who you think would be suitable as a replacement if something should happen to you." Vincent says.

"Make it happen people."

Delta One

Talamaeus and Rikkura nodded as Admiral Sheridan and Moa explained the situation.

"Alright. I'll run whatever scans I can on my sensors and transmit any data. Since I am under a contract, I won't bother with data analysis unless you guys need us to. Another thing, if we need friends, friends I can bring. I can rally the entire 11th Tallannic Fleet in a matter of hours. I can have a Special Package of mine space-fold the entire fleet into this space in a matter of seconds after the fleet rallys. The Special Package in question will tail behind the fleet, but I will NOT allow anyone to know what it is or contains unless circumstances change and the flagship Phoenix is in dire danger and at risk for destruction. My contract is to protect all assets and personnel in the Task force, but Priority is given to Admiral Sheridan and Admiral Valrek, as well as the other critical personnel and the Phoenix as it is the Flagship of this task force. General Patton, you were not mentioned in the contract, but from a combat efficiency point of view, I'll guard you as well, but I don't like you any more than that first impression." Talamaeus explained, offering assistance and waiting on the others in the room to voice their opinions.

Vincent looks to Tal.

"Understood. Any assistance you or your people can provide could prove pivotal in this war. But my protection comes after everything else. First and foremost, find the means of which Valrek and Foss were taken, where they were taken to, and how to prevent it from happening again. Second, after gathering all the forces we can, we strike out and conduct a rescue. Third, we eliminate all trace of this bitch from the galaxy. No one is safe otherwise." Vincent turns to the rest of the room. "This is what we are up against." Vincent turns to Clyde who had taken a seat next to the view screen on the wall and nods. He stands and presses a button on a nearby wall. The lights dim and the view screen flickers to life. A picture of Madame X appears ((the one thats been shown around already I'm not going to post it again)).

"I'm sure that Admiral Valrek briefed most of you already on who this is. Most of this may already be what the Admiral told you. But listen anyway." Clyde begins. "This is the only known image of one "Madame X". Really we know almost nothing about her except that monicker and what she looks like. But we do know quite a bit about what she does." Clyde presses on the PADD in his hand and image on the view screen changes to that of a graphic image of what appears to be a person, or something that has one or two features that allow someone to recognize them as once human the other features are of some sort of animal. It appears to be lying on a medical cot and has several fluid lines attached to the head and arms.

"This is one of her many failed experiments. This particular subject has had his DNA augmented and spliced with something that would be similar to a cheetah back on Earth. There are thousands upon thousands of images like this one of different people spliced with different creatures and I will not show more than this. Know that this particular subject was fortunate enough to not live long after being removed from stasis. He was dead for several hours at the time of this picture. This is what she does. Augments DNA to see what can and cannot be viable. To what ends? There is only speculation. But, we do know that she has succeeded in making an army of these augmented people that can very well number in the millions. She is not alone in this, however. We know that the Dominion does provide aid to her. She has been known to use Jem'Hadar as her standard foot soldiers saving her precious augments for more high-risk, specialized missions. Her augments are highly trained and are genetically bred to be the perfect soldier, assassin, and spy all in one package. We can only speculate why she has targeted the Federation. One thing that we have picked up is a visual identifying marker for one of her augments is a small bar-code like tattoo, usually found on the back of the neck. The tattoo will be covered in some way be it with long hair, high collared clothing, et cetera. This marking has been found on other places of the body. The codes themselves are alpha-numeric and seem to mark the "series" of the augment, and the order it was activated in. For example, the code X6-452 denotes that this particular augment was the 452nd one activated and is a part of the 6th series of augments. This particular series was primarily used as assassins as far as we know. The X5 series are used as officers and the X7 series are essentially special forces soldiers, possibly personal guards or guards of key installations. All are extremely dangerous, they are not only highly trained but they are genetically bred for their role and none of them should be taken lightly if encountered. Alot of this information we have is due to years of fighting and driving her out of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants and due to this woman here--" Clyde changes the picture to Captain Max Guevera. ((Its been posted earlier)) "This is Captain Max Guevera. She was a part of the X6 series of augments. Specifically 452. She was sent to assassinate Admiral Valrek in 2386. Obviously she failed, but in the process we gained a priceless ally that showed us the horrible things Madame X is capable of. She was last seen in the Gamma Quadrant and is presumed dead at this time." Clyde finishes and turns back to Vincent.

"Questions? If not, then those of you without Omega-1 clearance may go make your preparations. We have seen the beginnings of the second Dominion War. Those of you with Omega-1 clearance, we have business to discuss."

Fleet Captain Korak spoke up and said, "Field Marshall, you have not given me orders yet, and I would like to stay for the rest of the meeting if permissible, I have spent my long career fighting alongside you, Admiral Valrek, Fleet Captain Curzon Vak, and my life has been devoted to this task force and the Federation and I only regret that I did not take all the advancement opportunities that I was given. I chose to return to Qo'nos instead of serve as the Chairman of Starfleet/Klingon affairs at the rank of Rear Admiral (lower half) but every choice I have made has been in the best mutual interest of the Federation and Klingon Empire and I swear that I will always consider that my number 1 priority. I owe my life to Admiral Valrek, and I have lost many people serving with him, like my nephew, but I want to be as informed as possible so I can do my job , because something bad has happened many times when I don't have all the information that I need. "

Marak Revast said, "I could probably sat ditto on most of that except for the the Klingon Empire part, and the turning down promotion part, I accepted most of them that I was offered but I have also served the Task force for over 25 years now. And also my place is by Admiral Sheridans side."

Vincent looks to the two men.

"Gentlemen I am well aware of your service records. We have spilled the same blood in the same mud. However, that has no bearing on how much I can tell you. Colonel Revast, your talents would be better put to use readying your troops. We will be performing planetary invasions. Captain Korak, as you are the strategic officer of the quadrant, you may stay as the information I will be providing here may have an impact on your duties."

Marak Revast said, "Aye sir, my troops will be ready when you need them. The Aquarens have offered to let us use tricorder devices that are built into an eyepiece (Think Dragonball Z scouter), would you like me to equip some of my troops with them sir?"

Korak said, "Thank you sir, I appreciate this, do you expect Delta 1 to be attacked directly?"

Tal nodded and opened a channel on a 3D holographic telecommunication system (O.O.C.: Think Star Wars 3D Holograms but in green rather than blue) to the homeworlds and directly to Commander Damascus Korhal.

"Commander Korhal. I have a mission for you and the entire 11th fleet. I want you to rally the entire fleet to the Special Package's location, initiate a cloaked Space-Fold, keeping the SP hidden from sight. A time may come for you to show it, but until I give the key phrase, just tail the fleet, cloaked." the Kair ordered his best commander and leader of the Special Package's crew.

"Yes Kair. We will be in your space sector in no more than 2 hours. I assume you are rallying the fleet to assist those around you. Good. To those of you the Kair wishes to assist: our 11th fleet contains 126 capital ships, and over 7500 fighters and other small craft. We will be sending twenty Battle-Carriers, forty-six Heavy Combat Cruisers, and the remaining sixty are Light Combat Cruisers. The numbers may be small, but we are some of the best warriors in the Albion Galaxy, which is located on the Far-Side of Andromeda from you. We can only space fold a fleet five times. So we will follow you in high-band subspace or piggybacking your jump drive type in order to keep pace. I will contact you in two hours when we arrive. Commander Damascus Korhal out." Damascus briefed the group, after which he closed the channel.

"If there were to be a direct attack, it would be by the Dominion. Her creations are used for more..subtle..operations. Speaking of which, I want every system of this station and every ship inspected. Right down to the algorithms on the replicators. If there is nothing else, everyone should have something to do. Admiral Sheridan, General Tovi, and Captain Korak, I need you to stay for a moment."

Tyr looks at Tal "Thank you very much for the support Kair, I will talk to you soon after I am done here." Tyr says as he taps a few commands in to his PADD and every one but Korak and Moa leave, and Tyr says "Ok White-Pink you can come out now." from another door a slender mechanical four legged drone walks in.

"Hello I am White-Pink, Sentry Collation, and I am happy to report that all systems appear to be clean, how ever if this woman is as cleaver as you all say she is, it would behove us to have others look as well, but in the event that the main systems be come compermised, I would be able to at least make sure there is air and gravity, and regulate power and I am rambling aren't I? comments a synthetic female voice

Vincent looks the drone over suspiciously wondering how long she had been in the other room. He recognized the name Sentry Coalition from some reports he had read but didn't know much about them, much less seen one, other then they were some sort of sentient AI where all beings were connected together like a huge computer network and they are close to being admitted into the Federation. So as far as he knew their loyalty was sound. One thing was certain, Tyr has some interesting connections.

"Uh, okay...If you wish you can go ahead and report to engineering, I'm sure they will find you more than helpful. As you are not a part of Starfleet and not yet a member of the Federation, I cannot officially give you orders. You are free to come and go and help or not help as you please. But anything you do that aids the Federation in it's defense will be much appreciated. Now, if you'll excuse us, ma'am.." Vincent says politely rising from his desk and walking towards the door out to Ops showing the drone out. He returns to the desk and sits.

"I'm a soldier, not a diplomat." He remarks with a sigh rubbing his temples. "Admiral, I suggest you make sure these people you have connections with have an appropriate security detachment with them while they are on station. I don't want to have to do the explaining if the worst should happen." He says looking up.

"What I'm about to tell you all does not leave this room, understood?"

Tyr looks at Vince with a slight smile, "OH come on Vince, you know me better than that, and she asked to be part of Delta One, in fact her central core is the heart of this base, part of the deal with her people was a joint Federation-Sentry operation, and it would go a long way to their membership that his joint venture works well, and we will just have to take her word that she is not getting in to classified stuff she is after all a computer program, as for the the Tal's people I have had them all under observation, secretly of course and thus far all of them have stuck to the common areas unless other wise asked."

Tyr taps a few keys and the federation stranded replies "SCIF mode is now in effect"

"And I will die before I say a word of this Sir." adds Tyr

Korak nodded and said, "Understood sir, also I have Commander Adrela Vak on the Phoenix to serve as my on the field Officer who will allow me to hopefully keep you guys in constant contact with me so that I can help with the coordination of the attack, hopefully in real time. It has been approved by Captain Elric and I would like to have at least 1 of my officers on each ship, so that I can see every angle and be of as much use to the fleet as possible, but if Delta 1 is attacked, I will be unable to assist you, if we have a battle of our own."

Tal and Rikki bowed out in traditional, formal Tallannic style, and portal-jumped to the Razorback and began to make preparations for the next stage of their mission.

"Yay classified?" Rikkura asked, smiling mischievously.

"Don't even. I know you enjoy such exploits but we have been trying to get directly involved in human affairs for centuries, and you slipping into their networks for things like that will not look good to anyone." Talamaeus said warily.

"Fine." she replied and went back to system preparations and path transmissions for the 11th fleet to meet at.

"Not that I don't trust them. Quite the opposite. But I'd like to be prepared for anything." Vincent says looking at a PADD.

"Alright. What I'm about to tell you is derived from information and samples gathered from my recent foray to Talax. I'll spare the details and get right to the point." Vincent begins nodding over to Clyde who brings up an image of what appears to be a Borg nanite. The image breaks off to one side to allow an image of an actual Borg nanite to appear for comparison.

"The image on your left is your standard issue Borg nanite. It's what get injected into you when the Borg decide that they want you to be one of them. Slow acting and very painful. The nanite on the right by all appearances looks just like the Borg one and acts in a similar manner. But here's the kicker, it is significantly faster acting taking someone like me and turning them into that..within a matter of minutes." Vincent points at the screen and on queue footage from the firefight he and his team had with the borg-like creatures.

"These friendly guys are nothing like your typical borg. They are much faster, more coordinated, and they don't talk as much as the borg. As you can see they have been augmented in the typical style that Madame X uses. The base itself had no signs of Borg incursion so that leads me to believe that someone got a hold of some Borg tech and is attempting to adapt it for her purposes. You don't need to be Leonard McCoy to know that this is a very bad thing." Vincent says nodding again to Clyde who switches the image on the screen to Madame X.

"Also, during that incursion. We found not only her real name, and a potential motive tied to it. We believe Madame X is one Heather Noonien Singh related to one Kahn Noonien Singh. Related how? We are still looking into it, but looking over the logs that we acquired we know she was involved with Kahn in some way. With this discovery we believe we may have found a reason behind everything she has done. She wants the Federation to pay for the death of Kahn, specifically she wanted James T. Kirk's head. But since hes been dead for some time, it would be difficult...so make the Federation pay, make us suffer how they did when they were abandoned on Ceti Alpha V. She could have taken out the Federation long ago, but instead she has been biding her time, slowly wounding us, bleeding us until we beg her to finish us off. At least, that is how she sees it."

Says Tyr sounding rather annoyed and heading for the cabinet and pulls out a bottle of Romulan Ale and takes a swallow a big one "This is just great, you know any one of them back at the home office could be one of THAT," Says Tyr with hate in his voice as he points to her image "BITCH'S lap dog. This will be a very hard chase and fight." Grunts Tyr as he takes another swig. "Oh I have soem new armor designs we might need em." he adds

I think this may be a good time to see what the Aquaren gear that we have on hand can do since they are our allies. On another note the Aquaren fleet has offered to stay be Delta 1 in case an attack is attempted, do you want me to accept their offer or tell them they can go home?"

"It is just as likely for Singh to have infiltrated the upper levels of the Federation as it is for one of Species 8472." Vincent says. "No one is saying this is going to be easy. Hell, it's taken me the better part of twenty years to at least drive her primary forces from the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. It's likely that there are pockets of infiltrators in those quadrants still that are just waiting to make their move." Vincent looks to Korak.

((I can't remember if the Aquaraens are a member of the Federation so this is based off of the assumption they aren't. If they are I'll edit this part))
