This is a team i just made quite recently. It focuses around my scizor and tries to support it.

Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
---

This is my suicide stealth rocker lead which allows me to set up stelth rock with its awesome speed; or if I go on the offense, focus sash will cover for me so when i have 1 hp left, I use stealth rock.

Taunt owns pokemon using walling moves, weather moves, status moves and entry hazards. I would prefer keeping my Aerodactyl as its one of the best leads I ever had.
---
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
---

Scizor is my main pokemon, it has U-turn so after choicing it, I can switch out to another pokemon.

Pursuit owns any Gengars or Cresselia switching out and Bullet Punch for the STAB, Technician and priority.

---

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [grass]
---

Lets just say that this Heatran can poon anyone unprepared.

It provides cover for my Scizor as it lures in a fire type attck move and after my opponent sees my Heatran, they wont use fire moves on my scizor until they murder Heatran.
---

Rotom-c (none) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/48 Def/100 Spd/56 SAtk/52 SDef
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
- Light Screen
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [fire]
- Thunderbolt
---

This Rotom is here for defence and wall support, while inflicting heavy damage with special moves.
---

Gyarados (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
---

This Gyarados can pack quite a punch with life orb. After a dd, it can sweep entire teams.

It once sweeped an entire team with only 1 hp remaining because a dumb Harriyama came along and used Knock Off to get rid of Life Orb so my 1 hp stayed intact.
---

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 Atk/176 Spd/252 SAtk
Rash nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Brick Break
- Roost
---

Ahh... the Classic Mixmence. Nothing more like it to finish owning the foe or get out of pinches. Great for late game sweeping, breaking walls and getting past wallers.

What more could you ask for?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well thats my Standard team at the moment which has earnt me a lot of wins on ShoddyBattle and a few losses. Please feel free to rate my team and give improvements!

edit: a few more changes have been done to the team so it is now updated, keep the improvements coming!

Maxing Speed on Scizor? Well, I'm not sure, about I think you should go a little more bulky with the EVs, special defensively because Scizor resists a ton of special attacks, excluding a few.

I'm not sure about Hidden Power Grass on Heatran, but I guess it can work out.

Can you explain Rotom's EVs to me?
Also, if you're going Hidden Power Grass, maybe you can go with Rotom-l (or whatever the Leaf Storm one was) instead since I believe Hidden Power Grass does not OHKO Swampert, while Hidden Power Fire OHKOs Scizor/Forretress. Yeah, I mean that Leaf Storm OHKOS Swampert for sure. Well, you lose some Lucario insurance, but you already have a bunch of checks for him, with ScarfTran and Intimidators.

Oh, and remove those 4 HP EVs on Salamence too. They're increasing Stealth Rock, sandstorm, and Life Orb damage on your mence. Dump them anywhere else you want, except HP.

The rest look good. =D

This is fine, always gets stealth rocks.
---
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
---

Scizor is my main pokemon, it has U-turn so after choicing it, I can switch out to another pokemon.

Pursuit owns any Gengars or Cresselia switching out and Bullet Punch for the STAB, Technician and priority.

What are you trying to outspeed? GO with the standard 248 hp / 252 att / 8 speed
---

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [grass]
---

Lets just say that this Heatran can poon anyone unprepared.

It provides cover for my Scizor as it lures in a fire type attck move and after my opponent sees my Heatran, they wont use fire moves on my scizor until they murder Heatran.

It's fine but if you want to keep hp grass, go with dragon pulse over explosion. You need something to hit dragons and revenge kill salamence who will walk over this team without heatran. Without Dragon pulse, your only option is to explode while players will easily predict explosion.
---

Rotom-h (none) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/48 Def/100 Spd/56 SAtk/52 SDef
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
- Light Screen
- Hidden Power [grass]
- Overheat
- Thunderbolt
---

This Rotom is here for defence and wall support, while inflicting heavy damage with special moves.

I would suggest Will-o-Wisp over hp grass as you will only be attacking swampert with that. Reflect is also an option but W-o-W and shadow ball are better options allowing you to cripple t-tars and scizors that always come in on you

Another option is using the standard scarf set with Trick, T-bolt, shadow ball, and Overheat will help you with starmie and gyara.
---

Gyarados (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall
---

It once sweeped an entire team with only 1 hp remaining because a dumb Harriyama came along and used Knock Off to get rid of Life Orb so my 1 hp stayed intact.

Fine, if you want more survivability in sandstorm and just taking attacks you could use leftovers but you don't have to.
---

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/80 Atk/176 Spd/252 SAtk
Rash nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Brick Break
- Roost
---

this is fine too, but you if you don't go with dragon pulse on heatran, give this max speed to at least tie with the new mix mence with outrage, eq, Draco meteor, and fire blast which destroys this team.

Well thats my Standard team at the moment which has earnt me a lot of wins on ShoddyBattle and a few losses. Please feel free to rate my team and give improvements!

Overall nice team just with a few weaknesses. If you need more help, im always here. i will rate more later since i have to eat dinner
Starmie destroys this team as does gyara if your own gyara is around 60% which isn't hard due to SR and probable sandstorm. I put comments under your sets.
I play Ubers and UU. Nothing special

use a bulky spread on scizor like 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe . it's not too fast to outrun something and more hp will help it to take enemy scizor's BP(lol)

Why not shove a part of those HP EVs into Special Defense on Scizor to take Starmie's Surf better, if it is a problem?

EDIT: Well, I know Starmies may carry HP Fire now...

I might consider taking some evs out of speed for my scizor, but it's meant to be the hit and run type to deal a lot of damage to an enemie's team... but if putting evs in special defence can provide it with any hp left after taking a fire blast from salamence (very unlikely) then I might give it a go.

My Rotom acts as more of an all round wall, I didn't look for any advice when building it so I didn't know what wall it would play as, so that was an experiment because light screen halves damage done to my precious Scizor. Rotom also stops rapid spin, though when facing a starmie, maybe it would be better to have leaf storm rotom instead. That also ties in with what sneasels was talking about with my team having a big weakness to starmie and gyarados. I could take care of starmie with grass moves, but I dont have a true counter against Gyarados apart from rotom using thunderbolt on it (not very useful with such a slow pokemon).

I think I'll take the hp evs from salamence and put them into attack evs because it's slightly lacking in attack at the moment.

Any more suggestions would be nice. Replace any pokemon if you have to, just dont remove scizor, heatran, aerodactyl and gyarados.

Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus Sash

- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

This pokemon hardly adds any value to your team. Aerodactyl is nothing but probably the fastest suicide lead but what is the use? I really would not recommend this for your lead because of the increasing number of Metagross leads. The usual Scenario in a Metagross against Aerodactyl battle is Aerodactyl taunts and Metagross uses Bullet Punch. And in the next turn, this Pokemon dies without any use. If you are really looking for a suicide lead, I would like to recommend a suicide Azelf with "Psychic".

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

What is your idea with having 252 speed EVs? Scizor is not a quick sweeper, it is a bulky sweeper. You should invest a lot more on HP and very little on speed, even nil would be fine.

---

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [grass]
---

Lets just say that this Heatran can poon anyone unprepared.

It provides cover for my Scizor as it lures in a fire type attck move and after my opponent sees my Heatran, they wont use fire moves on my scizor until they murder Heatran.

Perfect. I feel HP grass is unnecessary when your Rotom has got Leaf Storm. You can really use Explosion since it helps a lot more than HP grass. You can kill a Blissey if you predict the switch-in properly. You can also use dirty techniques and exploit the Shoddy battle glitch by using explosion on the last Pokemon.

---

Rotom-c (none) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/48 Def/100 Spd/56 SAtk/52 SDef
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
- Light Screen
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [fire]
- Thunderbolt

On the whole, Aerodactyl is the main disaster and is a weak link.

silva, i like my aerodactyl lead as it is more than a suicide lead because i once sweeped 3 pokemon and set up a stealth rock with just aerodactyl before dying and asking scizor to sweep the other 3 pokemon and this is my old team, im going to put up a new team later.
I know what you mean by the scizor being over evd in speed but i changed it ages ago to the standard evs for cb scizor i just havent had much time to post it up.
I find hidden power grass on my heatran most usefull as it takes care of swampert and my rotom dies too easily. Hidden power grass has saved me lots of times.
It used to have explosion but i replaced it for dragon pulse for more type coverage.
Thanks for the suggestions, but i will post my new team up on a separate thread so you can comment on that.

wait, i have a question for silva

if aerodactyl has no use besides setting SR, then whats the difference than azelf with psychic other than azelf is slower. maybe azelf with flamethrower to fight gross?

Azelf has the potential to even dent many irritating leads such as Roserade, Scizor, Machamp, Metagross etc. It might not be as fast as Aerodactyl but it is the fastest lead after Aerodactyl. After your job is over, you can explode since Azelf's attack is also high. This suicide Azelf had worked very well and had taken me to the 48th spot in the OU ladder.

For further details, go to this link

http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48663

Now I no longer use taunt with that Azelf.
