Fire Emblem: Dawn of Darkness

Set three hundred years after the events of Fire Emblem: Fûin no Tsurugi (Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade)

Elibe is in peace, trade has brought the continent to a new level of unity. People freely trade amongst towns in kingdoms not there own, merchants sell there goods to all corners of Elibe free of any fear of attack by bandits. The Western isles, former home to pirates and vagabonds is now a proud kingdom known as Wesyria, home to the largest navy in Elibe. The proud clans of the Sacae are no longer plagued by bandits in the mountains bordering themselves and Bern, the clans have banded together to bring peace and are now known as the Defender of the Plains

With so much change there is still much that has remained the same over the many years. Nabata, the desert peninsula has remained arid and seemingly uninhabited. The desert still holds her secrets well. Many rumors spread about a utopia oasis hidden in the brutal sands but few dare to search for it, many have tried but none have returned. Valor, or the Dread Isles, is still avoided by all who venture the sea lanes. No one has stepped foot on the island since the days of Eliwood, Hector, and Lynn. Rumor has it that unholy creatures inhabit the island waiting for foolish sailors to get to close to shore so as to make meals of them. What bind the creatures to this world is not known.

With trade and peace prevalent across the land exploration of the sea attracted adventure seekers and sell swords. These brave souls set sail to parts of the ocean never before seen, many never return but the ones that do tell tales of humans with wings and fangs and the ability to become beasts of the land. These humanoids are not savages but cultured beings with kingdoms and traditions of there own. These human/beast call themselves Laguz and live on the continent Belagu.

With peace, exploration, and the discovery of a new people the land of Elibe seemed very different from the days of old. But unbeknowest to all a dark power is rising, a force not seen since the creation of Elibe. It threatens to bring darkness to everything and bring about a new dawn, a Dawn of Darkness.
