1. No Flaming: Ex. "yah u r noob" Ex. "WTF?? Stupid..." This will not be dealt with. Simple like that. For those of you that do not know what flaming is, it's pretty much insulting someone. So, just to be brief, DON'T DO IT! This will not be tolerated. If someone is flaming you, simply don't respond. Just PM a staff member as soon as possible to let them be aware of the situation. And along with that comes the rule... 2. No Baiting: Ex. "You do realize that my character could pwn yours anytime they wanted to.. Your character's character is stupid anyways..." Ex. "When morons come onto the internet, they name themselves Character 1..." Oh yeah, these are jerks at their best. They're trying to be smart, smart enough to get you to flame and cause drama. Don't fall into their threats. Now, if anyone does bait, or it looks like a bait, tell a staff member immediately. Now if you bait, boy will you sure regret doing it once we find out you did it. 3. No Drama/Drama Whoring: Ex. A huge flaming argument on a thread, with two or more people arguing about something. Whether about real life or not, once a staff asks you to stop, you must. Should someone prolong the drama, we will warn them. This is just unacceptable behavior, that of bickering little girls. If a staff member decides to cause drama, they have a chance of being stripped of their position. We can't be the ones breaking the rules, out of the members, and staff. Don't do it, staff or not. 4. No Harassment: Ex. A member sees another member has AIM. They get on their AIM, and continuously flame, harass, and annoy the crap out of the other member. Ex. A member PM's another member and, pretty much, flames them or annoys them continuously after being asked to stop. Intolerable. Simply put; temporary bans are at the ready. 5. No Flooding/Single-Post Threads: Ex. Another member wants to raise their post count so they can quickly get a new weapon. They create a single-post thread, a thread in which they enter and exit, leaving no room for anyone to respond to their post. Afterwards, within the next hour, they create seven other threads like this or more. Ex. A member posts a one-liner in a thread. The other member in the thread posts back with a good post, only to see the first member post another one liner instantly. For one thing, one-liners suck. If you can't put any effort into posting, then don't post. You are definitely not allowed to create a thread in which you enter and exit in the first post. It's simply intolerable and sickens me. Plus, you can't join a thread and leave it in the same post; it's the same thing. Bumping a bunch of dead threads won't do as well. This brings us to the next rule... 6. After Everyone's Exited a Thread, Don't Post In It: Long title... Well, it's self explanatory. This is so we don't have two month old threads where someone as of now is watching the people walk around and do things in the thread. Ex. Three months ago, everyone that was posting in the thread left it. Three months later, present day, someone posts in it as they watch the events unfold in the thread. Post in it, and you lose 5 posts and get a kick in the head. 7. No Adult Content: Hentai. Sex. Lots of gore. Take the sex to private messaging. I mean, if you really need it. Haha. Gore is highly tolerated, because this is a zombie roleplay. However we want to try and keep it all at about PG-13. If you want to go into detailed gore, just type in "Rated R" in the topic description of the thread. We will be sure to monitor all movement within the thread, and warn you when/if it gets too out of hand. 8. No Spamming: Ex. Å®Éñ-ÊÖ»úÁåÉùÏÂÔؼ°¸è´Ê, repeatedly in posts. Oh yes, don't we love the spam? Not going to even try to talk to this member, instant IP ban. DON'T DO THIS! 9. No Double Posting: Ex. A member is in a thread with others, and they continuously post over and over again while the other member has not posted yet. Ex. A member is in a thread by themselves and posts over and over again in the thread. The first one will not be tolerated. The second post will be deleted, and they will lose ALL THEIR POSTS COUNT REGARDLESS OF WHY THEY DOUBLE POSTED. Edit your last post! Now, if you're in a closed thread by yourself, sure. Feel free to double post, but make sure the posts are quality posts.. Not quantity posts.. 10. No Trolling: Ex. Someone seeks out a loophole in the rules, for instance, that there is no rule against gore, and constantly posts gore in posts. Ex. Someone plots with another member or staffer against the forum. Ex. Someone issues a hack threat. Ex. Someone breaks rules maliciously. Ex. "Azn spammer." Ex. Undermining of staff. Not going to care of any of this. You troll; you get permabanned, IP banned, E-Mail banned, and every ban we can find. Oh yes, you don't want to even think of trolling. 11. No MASSIVE Signatures: 400x200 is probably the maximum size we will allow here. Stretch the forum and you will be calmly told to size down your signature. If you don't fix it within a day of being told to size it down, you will have it removed. Should you continue to stretch the forum with your signatures, you will be disallowed for a certain amount of time to have a signature. Continue this and I'll have to use my temporary ban or permanent ban, most likely. 12. No One-Liners: Ex. Character 2 walked over to Character 1. "Hi." Ex. "what do u mean" Only noobs will post these.. Please post one-paragraph posts, that means 3 lines on the forum per paragraph. Please.. Can I say much more than that? 13. Follow and Read the Rules: ... Can I explain this much more than pointing at the title of this rule? It is a given, okay? Just do it. 14. No Mary Sues: Ex. Jill is the sexiest, smartest, most powerful, and the best character in the roleplay ever. Everyone loves her. She can control time and space. Ex. Bob has the ability to kill someone by staring at them and blinking his eyes. Mary Sues are characters that happen to be incredibly powerful or popular in some way that makes them stand out from the crowd in incredible power, brains, or any sort of way that makes them more powerful. A simple way of being a Mary Sue is being the smartest kid in your class who comes from the richest family in the country. Please don't do this, it's really annoying. But that doesn't mean your character can't be the smartest kid in your class or something. Just don't go overboard with it. 15. No Asking For Staff: Ex. Character 2 and Character 1 are in the same thread and Character 2 asks, politely, to be made a Mod. Ask for staff, and you will never be made one. The staff choose the staff, not the non-staff. Also, staff promotions will be rather pinched instead of being tossed out so we have fifty staff members. 16. Two characters per account: This means you are entitled to only one Human, and one Infected. The only way around this rule is if either of your characters die. In the case of a deceased character, that you don't want to bring back, you will be awarded one more character of the same species of the deceased. This can be okayed with an admin/mod.
