I am trying to write up a post that has to be perfect. I am trying to think of the right words to use that will make it sound good, yet not repeat what I've already said...However! I cannot think of the dang word I am looking for!!! :angry: :angry: Do you guys ever get that? It's like a complete brain fart that I cannot get past! It's holding up my entire plans, because I need to finish this post, but I have other posts to write up as well! It's so frustrating. |

A lot. :p I usually set it aside and work on other things first. If I still can't think of the right words by the next day, I post anyway. Gotta keep the pipeline going, and all that. |

Oh, brain farts are common. :doh!: I HATE, when Ive done the PERFECT post, got everything JUST the way I want, and even have my coding done right.....and the computer has a hissy fit, and I lose the post I spent all day working on!!!! :cry: :evil: |

Or what I call, "Brain stalls". Like Xany said. I go to something totally different and do that one. Then usually it will pop into my head, and I rush back to that section and post. |

I am glad to see I am not the only one that does this! I always use a dictionary/thesaurus website when I am making up my posts, but when I get the serious "brain stall", I cannot even think of a synonym or the definition for that word...Such was the case when I posted this thread. :p I went ahead and made this the official Venting thread when posting an RP post. :p |

:p So like ... I swear some people's approach to RPing is like: sit down, start writing, stop when they hit x amount of pages in Word and then copypaste over to the Post Reply box and never look at it again. Do they not see the missing step there? Sheesh.. |

Proofreading? I admit, sometimes I neglect to proofread. Say I am in a hurry, or I am feeling lazy but I need to get a post in, I usually don't proofread. If that is not what you were talking about...my bad. |

Proofreading, editing ... whatever you want to call it. It doesn't really matter for short posts, but long posts that are just basically rambling = not cool. (If you're feeling lazy or really need to get a post in, you probably haven't written five pages either.) |

dude, I hear ya! very frustrating! especially since most of my RPing is done during church these days, so i have to be quiet, and i can't voice my frustration! :p |
