Greetings all. I know most of you are aware of the various tasks that we have to complete, as we work our way through the temple. But isn't there something ELSE you would like to see or do, besides discussing tasks. This poll is for both THIS BOARD..and for the one on the JC. Since we cant role-play on that site, what else could we do, to keep it active? If you have any ideas, now is the time to discuss them. I chose the following: ~RPG'ing responses to various Task? ~Weekly Contest, on all things Darkside? ~Continue the Sith Trails RPG? I personally think they ALL are great, though those are the ones that stick out the most. Although, I think you need to elaborate a bit more on teh last three options... |

The last three options means... Do you want to see this stuff only done on: THIS Site ? The JC Site? Or, if it is possible, Both sites? Basically, its trying to see how much time folks want to spend with both sites, or only one site... |

I picked - continue ST RPG (on the JC preferably) - discussion on how to play a Sith/Darksider The rest are good too, but those are the main ones. The second one especially, because too often you see Sith out there that are basically "DIE EVERYONE" and I think there's far more depth to it than that. |

Yeah, I would like to see an RPG at the JC as well because that could broaden the scope of the JC and bring users in. The Jedi trials Focus Group came up with a thought about making a joint RPG between the two...would you guys like that? |

Chiming in for a sec...... I think a joint RP could be very beneficial. It would have to be jointly run between the two orders, and well planned out, but it could have potential. |

Quick note actually on topic: :p I would say that Discussion on HOW to play a Sith/Darksider? would be very beneficial. Of course, I have no say in the AoD, so I wish not to overstep my bounds. However, I've played a Sith quite a few times, and I've seen many Sith being played, and I must agree that too many people use the, "Kill everyone!" line of thought that does the Sith an injustice. So, if I were an AoD, that most certainly would be my primary desire. Anyways, thanks for the time. :) |

Continue the Sith Trails RPG, Discussion on HOW to play a Sith/Darksider, Discussions and studies on the Sith and Discussions of Character Creation were my choices. I think that discussing the Sith would also tie into discussing how to play a Darksider. |

I picked a variety of things...particularly: -Discussion on HOW to play a Sith/Darksider -RPG'ing responses to various Tasks -Discussions of Character Creation And...both sites. A note for everyone who selected the 'Trials' option; I was given permission by the previous GM to take over, and have been revising it so that we can start a new thread. Unfortunately, RL comes first, and I have been very, very busy. ;) It should be ready to go soon...I'm making time, despite a tonne of essays. |

Hmm.....this is good. Some very good choices as well. One note on contests, though I agree some of then should be weekly, a few may be monthly. Those, Of course, would be of greater challenge value. Just a thought. Overall, I agree that variety is the spice of life, meaning, the more choices we have in activites-the better the participation level of our fellow sith. I might be re-stating the obvious or what has been said before, but it's good to reinforce! :p Those are my two cents for now. LM :evil: :maul: |

I'll soon be a JC AoD member... but I'm too lazy to go to the thread, *lmao*. But I did indeed pick: Advice on playing a Sith/Darksider. That could be beneficial, not just or AoD Sith, but for RPers everywere; best place the advice in the RPF Resource forum. |

I hate to be cheap, but ... I think every idea listed is a good one, and I think as much as can be implemented on the JC site should be, and everything else done here. Nothing wrong with trying an idea. If it works, great, and if it flops, you move on and try another. That's my philosophy, at least. |

Are you advertising your site Inty? :p It's cool being a mod over a mod at another forum. :p Anyways, sorry bout that. I would be verfy interested in a "The Quick Guide to Perfect Sith RP'ing" seminar, and would most certainly slip into your thread to read it and perhaps participate. As Endor said, that idea could be very beneficial to everyone, not just the AoD. |

I like the first 8 options, except for continuing the Sith Trials RPG. We are a new group now, and a new RPG for it would IMHO be a good thing. The ST lost momentum, and it could really use a fresh start with a story line that makes sense for what we are doing now. If that happens, we should also ensure that everyone knows that all are welcome to join...not just AoD members. |

Wrong, Dinkus. The Sith Trials and Acolytes of Darkness are not the same. I will be renewing Trials. There is also an AoD RP here on this site. They aren't the same. They are linked via common membership, but the Sith Trials, though it will indeed have a fresh start, is not the RPG for the Acolytes of Darkness. Even if you are a new group, the RPG will continue. Because it isn't for the AoD, though members are welcome to join. It's a continuation of the Trials storyline, which does not affect an AoD storyline. Different groups, Dinkus. I think I know that Ril. I was only a co-GM of the ST since the start of it. If you reread the first line, I clearly say we are a new group. ;) I only responded to that because it is in the poll, which happens to be called "What other projects would you like to see done here?". My answer was given directly to the question asked, which is that I don't really want this group to be the ones continuing the ST....if you want to however that is just fine with me. Anyway, my point was simply that if we as a group are going to focus our energy on creating or rebuilding an RPG.....I would rather that energy be put toward a new official AoD RPG for the RPF. |

I didn't actually know it was you until you said so, very recently, in the thread. So I believed I was answering someone uninformed/uninvolved in it, who wouldn't know the difference.
