Top Star Wars Villains: Episode 1 Top Star Wars Villains: Episode 2 Top Star Wars Villains: Episode 3 Now discuss! Here is a brief list of the top 15 villains without the descriptions: 15. Jar Jar Binks 14. Asajj Ventress 13. Exar Kun 12. Darth Maul 11. Admiral Isard 10. Mandalore 9. The Yuuzhan Vong 8. Darth Krayt 7. Grand Moff Tarkin 6. Jabba the Hutt 5. Darth Revan - Darth Malak 4. Boba Fett 3. Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine 2. Grand Admiral Thrawn 1. Darth Vader Personally, I don't quite agree with the list. They aren't just judging on evil, but on what they did. It was no surprise to see Darth Vader as number one, but I only think that was just because of the legacy he has in the real world. Perhaps I am just biased, but I kind of think Sidious should be number 1. At the most, number 2. I have no idea why Thrawn is above him. That's ridiculous. I mean, it even says: "Thrawn wisely modeled his strategies after the former Emperor in many ways. Thrawn recognized that the great strength of Palpatine's fighting forces was that the Emperor's own Jedi powers focused and honed the entire Empire into a well oiled machine. When Palpatine died, the various cogs in the machine simply fell out of alignment. Thrawn found himself a new Jedi Master – the slightly insane Joruus C'Boath, and used him to hone his troops into a finely tuned machine. And there was much pain and suffering afterwards." It says he modeled his strategies after Palpatine. And besides, Palpatine was the one who brought the most destruction upon the galaxy anyway, not Thrawn. Also, the way that they judged this should make Yuuzhan Vong higher on the list (lower?) meaning, I think they should switch Jabba's place with the Yuuzhan Vong. I am sure there is way, way more people that know who the Yuuzhan Vong are compared to Jabba. I mean, the Yuuzhan Vong practically conquered the galaxy. Not jabba. I don't care how dumb you are, there is no way in the Galaxy that Jar Jar was evil. And I agree Nem: They should rate on evil-factor. Though if they're going by deeds, which you say the are, then, actually, Thrawn is more evil than Palpatine. Read the EU, kid. :p

Besides, that's not all they are rating on anyway. Palps had more of an impact on the galaxy than anyone else before him, and after him thus far, including Thrawn. Little correction; out of universe, more people know Jabba than those who know the Vong. :p You're right, and that's bull crap.

Official Awesome Coordinator Posts: 63 Group: Mass Effect GM Member #21 Joined: Apr 4, 2008	Truth be told, I was hasty in disregarding the entire list, because I can semi-agree with 1-3, though the order is a little iffy. I just think the fact that Jabba is so high, and that Jar Jar is even on there at all, detracts from the villainous level of the list. I don’t really understand number ten and the rest of the positioning seems off, as well. It’s really just all opinionated ideas, but I think that to be a good villain you have to orchestrate a catastrophic event or something similar. I disagree with Darth Maul being put up there, because everything he did was controlled by Sidious. He was just a really mean guy.

Or Boba Fett? :p Even worse, I don't think they had Lumiya, Ssi-Ruuk, Allema (Twisted Being, that one), Thracken Sal-Solo, Nom Anor (specifically, instead of Vong in general) or Darth Caedus. :mad: Edited by Burning_Endor, Apr 20 2008, 07:31 PM.
