er. Some quick thoughts: Problem number one. Where are the ysalamiri popping up from? Are you dropping the ysalamiri from the roof? I absolutely refuse to believe the no-Force field can be contained by crates on the ground (there's also the problem of ysalamiri possibly not surviving a drop from the roof but that aside...). If you are, ysalamiri project a bubble up to 10m in diameter, and if you put a whole lot of them together the field expands exponentially, so ... the roof must be pretty far above the balcony for the Sith to sense nothing. You've already said the warehouse is quite large, anyway. But then you have Jedi dropping down from said roof without the Force - which is probably going to not go over very well for them. Not that I'm complaining... Problem number two. If I were a Sith Master, there is no way I'm going to go haring off after Solus to rescue my underlings. What for? More where they came from. eta: Problem number three. Twenty five Force-less Jedi on the ground + blaster fire from the roof = friendly fire is a LOT more likely than not, especially once they engage in melee. Chukles, I like you and this game, but really. At least make the trap semi-plausible. Edited by Xany, Apr 14 2008, 01:51 AM.

It is semi-plausible. The no-sensing thing wil be explain later. The no-sensing has nothing to do with the Ysalamiri. The crates were specially designed to contain the ysalamiris' field until they were opened. That is explained later as well. As well, crates of Ysalamiri are everywhere, high and low, so a very effective field it created. The Jedi are outside of the force restricted area until they land on the ground. they form a perimiter while their buddies shoot up the Sith. Sorry. Forgot to clarify and add that to the post. First off, I don't care if the other masters rush there or not. Solus needs this mission to succeed and he needs the Sith alive. Plus, he gains some points with the other Sith by coming to their aid, which will prove to be to his advantage later on in the story. The masters will follow, as they are all suspicious of Solus, and there is no way any smart master would let Solus go like that without trying to be close to keep him from pulling anything. I have thought this out, you know. Edited by Chukles38, Apr 14 2008, 06:01 PM.

For the record, it's not the ambush that annoys me - I like challenges, and I've already thought of a way to get out of this one. I'm just not convinced by the plausibility of the setup. But as always, your game = your rules. |

While certainly it is a stretch, the plausibility will make more sense as the game progresses. :) Now, whether or not the Star Wars Galaxy would like what I am doing, is uncertain. Within that realm, the ambush is probably imposible. However, this is my versio of star Wars, so anything goes. :p |

I have a question on the Republic side...are we going to get any discriptions of what we're seeing as both teams search.. ..or shall I just let MandalorianLegacy make stuff up as we walk? Oh do I make up something? |

ML spelled Legacy wrong. That has been bugging me since he joined, and I nearly used it as grounds to bar him from Genocide. I agree that you should kill him, or better yet, let me do it. And, I think, Chukles, you are forgetting about the genious that is Wijs. She pretty much is awesome. IMO, she held together the Council meeting, and kept them guessing. Nick: So ML mispelled his name? What's so important about that? Nemesis mispelled his on TFN as well. Would you have 'almost used that as grounds to bar him from Genocide?' I hope not. Serious or not, make a valid point, my boy. :p Besides, I've been workng with ML, and he's been doing much better... though he's a bit impatient, really. |

I haven't watched him in a while, but when I first noticed it, it just irked me. I'm kind of a RegistationDateist. |
