Grand Master and Mod - Away Posts: 694 Group: Moderator Member #18 Joined: Mar 31, 2008	I've playe on my borther's account on my friend's computer slightly extensively, but not anymore. WoW just didn't do it for me. As a matter of fact, nothing since SWG in its prime has done it for me......

Darth Nemisis' Apprentice Posts: 278 Group: Sith Apprentice Member #6 Joined: Mar 17, 2008	I never did get into SWG - I was gonna get it when it was released, then I heard that you couldn't be Jedi/Sith without spending your entire life ingame, so I dropped the idea. :p WoW seems to really be one of those games where you love it or hate it ... not much in-between...

Grand Master and Mod - Away Posts: 694 Group: Moderator Member #18 Joined: Mar 31, 2008	Indeed. That's true about WoW. I think it jsut gets too boring after a while, whereas on SWG you can keep going and going. And, SWG now lets you be a Jedi/Sith from the very begining. It is much worse....

Darth Nemisis' Apprentice Posts: 278 Group: Sith Apprentice Member #6 Joined: Mar 17, 2008	Actually, WoW literally ... doesn't end. :p Well, the top, top-end guilds have "won the game" in that they've conquered all the content, but the developers keep releasing new patches, new content. I've certainly never run out of things to do ingame.

Besides, how many people reached level 70, and then made some totally new character? I don't like that. I like like in SWG, where you swhape and mold one character almost indefinatly.

Sith Council Master Posts: 76 Group: Council Member Member #16 Joined: Mar 27, 2008	I was wondering when THIS was going to POP UP! LOL!! Well, I am uber-mega-addicted to WoW. I may be a late comer to the craze, but I play like a starving Rancor! Just can't seem to get enough of it. If it were not for DRL, I'd quit my job and play WoW everyday! Seriously. It's THAT intense for me. I think the CORE reason I'm addicted is the fact that I'm in a super cool guild with super cool ppl and the focus is having a great time and RPing ( only later did I realize there was actually an RP server ) than Twinking and getting all the uber gear and stuff,although it does help alot if you twink. I missed the whole SWG era for reasons not worth mentioning, and seeing how it is over, WoW is doing everything and more for my online gaming needs. I mean, it's the only thing I think about at work...seriously folks! LOL! Anyway, plain an simple....Wow 4 Life , I tattooed it on my stomach!! LOL! just kidding!!Hehehe. Great game. I have no idea if there's anything that can beat it at the moment. I'll be buying The Force Unleashed in september, but if it doesn't deliver.....I guess I know what I'll be doing instead. ;) LM

Best group of people I've come across. :D Good guilds really make or break the game, IMO - it's just not that interesting solo. Oh yeah - if anyone wants to find me ingame, in order of likely-to-be-logged-in look for Xany (Alliance, Korialstrasz), Salyra (Horde, Khaz'goroth) or Xani (Alliance, Dath'Remar).
