Let us all play nice in here. Remember the rules of RP dueling. Let the battles begin! IC: MasterJoy MasterJoy enters the dueling arena and looks around. She was expecting Chukles38 to arive shortly, so she unclipped her lightsaber from her belt, holding it perfectly and getting into a Ready Stance. TAG: Chukles38 |

IC: Chukles Chukles slips silently into the newly-formed arena. He looks around, admiring the architecture. He leans up against the wall, and watches Joy for a moment. She seems to be preparing for their duel. With a smirk on his face, Chukles calls out to Joy. "Waiting on someone?" He pushed off of the wall, moving to the center of the room. He slid his robe off, tossing it aside. He unclipped his saber from his belt and set himself into his Makashi stance. He ignites his saber before saying, "Shall we dance?" TAG: Joy |

OOC: Will do. Shouldn't be a problem, but I'll let you know. :) IC: Chukles Chukles easily parried Joy's attack. While certainly it could have been a crippling blow, it was not particularly subtle or surprising. Though, Chukles did not think it was supposed to be. With that, he countered with a quick flick of his saber at Joy's left side. He was trying to test her defenses now. TAG: Joy |

OOC: If you don't mind, I'll help ya out. :) Suggestion: Spin slightly to your left or something. That will bring your body, and your saber, around to block. A good duelist does not use only their saber in attacks and defenses. Just trying to help ya out. Teach you a bit about dueling, if I can. :) |

OOC: Thanks, that's why I'm here. Any and all Sith may help with pointers. IC: MasterJoy MasterJoy spins sleightly to her left, and with a flourishing move, brings her blade upward to block the attack. Then, she sends a strontg Force push at at Chukles. TAG: Chukles |

IC: Chukles Chukles had to admit. He was surprised by the attack. He tried to get a force push off, but was too late. His opponent's caught him and sent him flying backwards. However, instead of fighting it, Chukles went with it. He sent the force push he was building up downwards, giving him elevation. He then forced his body into a backspin... an easy feat seeing as his body was already moving in the right way. He landed gracefully in a crouch. "Very nice." He said, one hand on the ground, the other clutching his saber. He'd have to make a mental note never to let that happen again. At that, he stood and rushed his opponent. As he closed the gap between the two, he feignted an attack left then twirled to his right to come around with his blade heading straight for Joy's left side. TAG: Joy OOC: Should make sense. As well, I'm probably off for bed, but feel free to reply and I"ll get to it later. :) |

IC: Inty Practice Duel with Padawan Slice The mysterious human male strode forward. His face concealed in the shadows of his black hood, his beard covering the edges as well. He walked into the middle of the room, his black boots clicking against the hard wood floor as he walked. He dropped his black robe to the ground, leaving him in a sleek silver tunic. Clipped on both of his hips was a lightsaber hilt. He reached to the left hilt and pulled it out and ignited it. A short green blade added a glow to the room, and Inty gave a quick twirl of his Shoto. He pushed the ignition button again and the blade disappeared. He reached this time to the right hilt and pulled it out and ignited it. This time, a full length crimson blade added an ominous glow to the room. Inty put both hands on the hilt and held it out in front of his face. He called out to his Padawan learner: "Slice ... you wish to learn the Jedi ways from me. Come meet me for a lesson on the lightsaber!" Tag: Slice |

IC: Padawan Slice Slice entered the arena with his master, Integral. He was a little apprehensive. He'd never really sparred before and Inty, as some people called his master, was just that, a master. He brought out the training saber he had chosen, a long hilt with two yellow sabers. "Ready when you are, master." He said. He wondered how the duel would progress, his master wielding a shoto and a full blade and he with a double-bladed lightsaber. He stepped forward, expecting his master to make the first swing as a test. He stretched out the the Force and braced himself. OOC: :worried: Double-bladed. :maul: |

IC: Inty Inty took powerful, intimidating steps, clanking his boots hard against the hard wood floor, and circled his young Padawan. "A Double Blade? Quite ambitious, I'd say" He spoke in a slow, stern, and ominous voice. He needed to see if his Padawan would respond in fear or in trust of the Force. He brought his crimson blade up to vertical and eyed his Padawan's double blade. Calling on the Force, he quickly charged at his Padawan, sending a quick, but not overly quick, strike directly at one of the blades. Tag: Slice |

IC Trying to hide his fear, he caught the strike squarely on his blade. "One has to start somewhere, master." he said as the blades crackled against each other. He was having second thoughts about his choice of weapon, but it was too late now. He spun away and struck with his other blade. IC: Inty He could sense the fear in him. Almost smell it. But the young Padawan did his best to try to hide it. But hiding it wasn't enough. He'd need to overcome it. To conquer it. Only then could he find peace. Only with peace could he find a pathway to the Force. A simple spin came from his Padawan as their blades connected, followed by a strike from the other end of the double-bladed lightsaber. Inty was able to counter the move with a simple parry upwards, his crimson blade glowing against the yellow blade of the Padawan as sparks flew once again. "Don't get too tricky. Be mindful of overconfidence, Padawan. That's a Sith trait. It will betray you." Assisted by the Force, Inty broke free from the entanglement of the Lightsabers, using a Force-assisted push upward, and quickly followed taht with a swing of his lightsaber at his Padawan's knees. He needed to see how he responded to that. Whether in confidence and peace, out of fear, or in over confidence. It would reveal a lot about his character. And his progression through the trials. IC "Don't get too tricky. Be mindful of overconfidence, Padawan. That's a Sith trait. It will betray you." Master Integral broke away and sent a Force push toward Slice. Simultaneously swinging toward his legs with his crimson saber. The padawan's first thought was to try to regain his balance and parry, but a split second later he knew he had a better answer. He used the force of the shove to start his inertia moving backwards. He somersalted backwards, careful to position his lightsaber blades horizontal. He decided it was time to press the attack, he moved in and swung at his master's right shoulder. Tag: Inty |

IC: Inty "Impressive. Most impressive. You are indeed skilled. You will make a great Jedi. One day" Inty was impressed with his Padawan's backflip to avoid an attack, and even more impressed by his quick decision making to send an attack back at his master. But the distance allowed too much of a telegraph of the incoming attack and made the counter too easy for the much more experienced Inty. He quickly dropped to one knee, and sent a leg sweep at his Padawan, keeping his red blade glowing upward to block any stray movements from either blade being wielded by his Padawan. There was little chance his inexperienced Padawan would be able to stop his momentum before being tripped. The question would be how he would respond. Of course, if he could ... well, what a protege Inty had found then ... Tag: Slice[/b[ |

IC as Slice Duel with Inty Slice should've known better, lightsaber dueling was as much subtlety as it was force. Coming as he was from even a short distance away, Integral had no difficulty blocking the blow, dropping into a crouch. "Impressive. Most impressive. You are indeed skilled. You will make a great Jedi. One day" The Jedi Master swung his leg and swiped the padawan's legs out from under him. Slice felt a slight warning in the Force a second before it happened, but that didn't stop his legs from going out from under him. It did, however, help him to get at least one leg back under him before his body actually lost altitude. He landed, but he was dangerously off-balance. He flailed for a moment, but spun himself around and got one leg directly under him just in time. "Thank you, Master, I try." He said, not quite smugly, he knew he had a long way to go, but he felt he did well on that last maneuver. He reached out to the Force, trying to quell his fear and sense his opponent's next move. IC: Inty Some distance now separated the mysterious man and his Padawan learner. He was very impressed, however, with the way his Padawan was controlling his fear, rather than allowing the fear to control him. He watched as his Padawan, with as much grace as possible, given the situation, landed and came back to a ready position. He wanted to applaud, but he had one more test to throw his way. He brought his crimson blade back up to a ready position, and hit the ignition switch, sending the blade back into the hilt. Focusing his energy, he broke some of the floor's hardwood planks and lifted three small pieces of wood into the air. With a flick of his wrist he sent them flying at his Padawan, two heading directly for his head, another at his thigh, and another at his midsection. He then thumbed the ignition switch on his lightsaber and prepared to watch his Padawan respond. How his Padawan answered this challenge would say a lot about not only his focus, but the reality if his future in the order. Tag: Slice |

IC as Slice Slice was just preparing to ward off Inty's next attack when the master did something unexpected: He shut down his lightsaber blade. Slice was about to open his mouth to ask if the training session was over when three tiles lifted from the floor and flew toward him. The padawan had had practice deflecting blaster bolts, but with an ordinary lightsaber, not with the dual blade he was using now. But the tiles didn't have the speed that blaster bolts did. It still took an effort to bring one of his blades into line with the first tile, and he barely made it. The second was easier, but the third he overshot and didn't catch it squarely. The tile glanced off his blade and a large piece hit him hard in the shoulder. and just when I thought I'd get away clean. he thought to himself. He noticed Inty had re-ignited his crimson blade. "Are we continuing then, master?" he asked, hoping the answer was yes, as the training session had been rather short and he wanted to have more practice with his two blades. Tag: Inty. |

IC: Inty His Padawan had done well. Thrown off just a little bit, but only one piece managed to knick at all, and even that one was deflected. The mysterious Inty stood there, in the ready position, as his Padawan now faced him. "Are we continuing then, master?", his Padawan asked. "Of course we are," Inty replied, as he drew his blade closer to his face. The crimson glow illuminating his face and beard. "But I want to see your offense. Give me the best you have!" He eagerly awaited his Padawan's next move. Tag: Slice |

IC as Ghent Duel with Inty "But I want to see your offense. Give me the best you have!" Slice hesitated, planning the attack in his mind. If his master wanted his best, he would get it. He started circling, then leapt forward and struck at Inty's left shoulder. Following with a blow toward his right hip. He struck Inty's left again then spun and feignted with his first blade and struck with his second, low. Having two blades had it's advantage. Tad: Inty |
