The time period that it could take place would probably be either before the Clone Wars, or after the destruction of the second Death Star. Any time period between would have the Jedi as a stronger force than the Sith, which is what you don't want. I say that we should go for after the destruction of the second Death Star, probably a hundred or so more because it leaves all current canon characters out of boundaries and lets us play from a fresh start. Futhermore, the state of the Galaxy could possibly be peaceful, with the Jedi holding some sort of peace over it, but with small appearances of the Sith and deaths of several Padawan/Master teams. This would cause panic throughout the Jedi Order and it could lead to a war between the Jedi and the Sith in order to wipe the other out. The other possibility is that the state of the Galaxy could be balanced, with the Sith staying in their part while the Jedi stay in their part. The Sith could possibly have a couple people in the Senate, and the Galaxy could be sectored off depending on which planet is a Sith planet, and which one is a Jedi planet. Obviously, this means that Coruscant would be neutral, Korriban(sp?) would be Sith and Yavin 4 would be Jedi, due to continuity. That's what I have to say, and I would be willing to be the applications director or some other type of benefactor, as role playing games are what I do most of my time :) |
