Code of the Sith: Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.
Rules of the Sith Academy
1.There is to be absolutely NO dealings with the Jedi Trials. They are in no way affiliated with this group.
Please do none of the following:
~PM a Jedi Trials member or post in their thread attempting to "turn" them, or harass them in any way.
~Harass any Jedi in any way for anything, this group is about fun with a Sith-like atmosphere
~If there are any posts from non-members please allow the Masters to deal with it.
2. Role playing of any sort will not be tolerated by the Masters or the moderators of the forums. If you wish to Role play, there is a perfect community here on the Jedi Council Forum called the Role Playing Forums, located here. Or, use the off-site boards when readily available.
3. No Flaming, spamming, or trolling of this or any other threads. Refer to the TOS for any questions.
4. Obey your superiors. The list of ranking is provided below. If you are a Minion, you will obey all those above you, including apprentices. If you are an apprentice, you have powers over minions, but that is it. You must be obedient to warriors, and masters. Warriors are the same, but have powers over apprentices as well. Masters are the highest ranking members of the group, and deserve respect.
5. All members must be respectful towards the Masters and respect their wisdom, but that is not to say that questions or suggestions cannot be made. In any case, the Dark Lord has the final decision in all matters.
6. Everyone, including masters must obey the word of the leader of the group, the Dark Lord of the Acolytes of Darkness. Said member is the highest ranking member of the order, and leads the faction.
7. If a moderator posts in this thread, be respectful to them. If they edit one of your posts, and you do not agree, do not take be disrespectful, and do not take it up with them in this thread. If you have a problem, send them a Private Message and take care of the situation there. Or, you may send a Master a PM with the complaint and they will handle it. Most likely, the moderators will be right.
Rankings
If you are accepted as a member of the Sith Academy, you will be ranked as a Sith Minion. You will have to complete a series of tasks in order to be an apprentice. Once you are done with these tasks, you will then be a minion until a master takes you on as their apprentice. The ranking is as follows:
Dark Lord of the Sith: The highest ranking Sith of the Sith Academy. There is only one Dark Lord. This member will oversee the entire academy, and can give tasks to any member of the Acolytes of Darkness.
Sith Masters: These members are the highest ranking Sith a normal user can become. It is extremely difficult to become a Master, only those dedicated to the ways of the Sith will be a master. They can take on two apprentices, and can give tasks for only their apprentices to complete, Warriors, and minions. You must have 100 points to become a Master.
Sith Warrior: These members are the enforcers of the Acolytes of Darkness. They are able to take on one apprentice, and can only give tasks to that person, no one else. They, too, will be given tasks, for that is how they will advance to the rank of Master. You must have 75 points to become a Warrior.
Sith Apprentice: These members are those who are deemed worthy enough to become a part of the Sith Order. They will be given tasks by their own master/the Dark Lord to complete. You must complete the five tasks given to minions and have a master to become an apprentice.
Sith Minion: These members are the lowest ranking Sith of the order. They are given tasks by Masters and the Dark Lord to attempt to advance to the rank of apprentice. They must be taken on my a Master or a warrior to do so.
Tasks and Prestige
~Tasks or missions are the way members of the Acolytes of Darkness advance in rank. You will be given a set number of points for each task that you complete, five being the highest number of points possible.
~Once you reach a certain amount of prestige, you will be promoted to the next level by either your master, or the Dark Lord.
~If you do not receive a task from your master, be patient. Do not go around asking for a mission from another master. If you are so impatient, simply post that you would like a task, and a proper individual will give you a task.
Duels are worth more depending on how good the duel is.
Duels
Another way to gain prestige in the Sith Order is to win a duel. If you wish to participate in a duel, you must get it approved by a Master. Then, you will have a duel, which will not take place here, but in the Role Playing Forum in the Dueling thread. The duel will be heavily monitored, and there will be no death matches, unless otherwise said so.
Death matches are rare, and can only be approved by the Dark Lord. If you wish to participate in a death match, both participants must come to the Dark Lord, and gain approval. If approved, may the best person win. Again, they are very rare.
The winner of a regular duel, depending on how good the duel is, will receive ten points in prestige. The winner of a death match will receive ten prestige points.
No members of the Acolytes of Darkness will participate in an official duel with a member of the Jedi Trials. If you wish to duel a member of the Jedi Trials, do so on your own time, and not as a member of this group.
Zero Tolerance
As stated in the rules, Role Playing of any sort will not be tolerated in this thread by the Masters of the Academy, or the Moderators. There is to be no duels, storylines, plots, themes or anything having to do with Role Playing in this thread/forum. As stated, there is a place for that, and all official duels are to take place in the RPF Lightsaber Combat Thread.
Also stated in the rules, but being repeated for extra emphasis, there is to be no dealings with the Jedi Trials. If you are caught doing anything to do with the Jedi Trials without the approval of both faction leaders, then you will be punished by the Masters, and even possibly, the Moderators. If a Jedi Trials member is harassing you in any way, please, contact a Master or a moderator, and it will be dealt with.
There will also be zero tolerance for rule breaking. If you break any of the above rules, you will be punished.
