The Church of Solace: The Church of Solace is the dominant force in eastern Askiral. They control a huge portion of land, including Valenor Fields and Halcyon Fields. Based at the holy city of Dawn’s Light, the Church spreads the teaching of Cedor, whether it’s by priests or by force. The Church sports a huge multi-racial army and is considered to be the second most powerful faction on Askiral. Common Church magic includes light, water, ice, air, and earth.

Temple of Holy Redemption*: The Temple is the arch rival of the Church and is popular among the poor farmers, ranchers, and miners in the western portion of the continent. Their policy generally favors the poor, as opposed to the Church, which supports the rich and the noble. The Temple has a large and well trained army, but it is still smaller than that of the Church. They are based in the middle of the Infernal Plains, and their headquarters is the Tower of Redemption. Common magic aligned with the Temple includes: black, water, ice, and fire.

Wraiths: The Wraiths are the scourge of Askiral, often launching attacks from their home, Wraith Isle. The Wraiths are evil and twisted, believing the world should suffer like them, and then ultimately, conquer all the races. The Wraiths takes advantage of the conflict between the Church and the Temple and launch deadly assaults on Askiral, destroying coastal towns and cities, such as Cedora. The most deadly raid almost destroyed the city of Valenor itself. Wraiths use black and red magic.

Neutral: Neutral can be classified as either people who do not fight, people who fight for themselves, their loved ones, or something they believe in, or mercenaries. Note that if you are a mercenary, you can switch alliances without Admin. approval, but it must fit with the story.

In this world, only the strongest can survive.
