This map was made by jeffsun for this forum. Sorry for the orange letters behind the black ones. Spoiler: click to toggle The continent is called Askiral, which is an ancient language meaning Paradise Land. It is home to a rather diverse group of beings. This large continent consists of many landforms, including mountains, plains, forests, lakes and many others, with results in a variety of places to explore. Although it is not yet depicted in the map, there are many cities and towns inhabited by the many races of Askiral. For the most part, the races does not like to interact with each other, even if they are part of the same alliance and they tend to stay away from the outside world. Humans are far the most adventurous, as they enjoy searching for treasure or simply exploring the regions. Etherils locks themselves in the forest, rarely going out. The Untamed race generally stays within their homeland also. Treefolks walks the ancient Aragon forest and the Taurens mines away in the mountains. The horrible Wraiths stays on their island, but they often launch deadly raids. Other creatures wanders Askiral, animals of all sorts, even mythical beasts, such as unicorns, phoenixes, and centaurs, and according to legend, dragons. Darker creatures such as imps, orcs and trolls also inhabit this world. It is suggested that people never adventure alone (especially into the Northern Marshes), for Askiral can be full of unforeseen dangers. Feel free to explore at your will, although not all races and beings will be happy to see visitors. There are no boundaries to oppose you-- however, know that some species may react rudely or aggressively toward strangers. |
In this world, only the strongest can survive.
