Shas'O Ksi'm'yen Darksword is a 16 year old Tau commander. He is equipped with an XV15 Stealthsuit, and carries a Railgun resized for his suit and a mysterious close combat weapon called a Tri-talon.

Fluff.

Darksword was actually born on N'dras, but his family moved him to Ksi'm'yen for unknown reasons. He himself does not know of his past, nor does he care. He survived all of the tests he was put through and became an XV15 pilot. He was scheduled to become an XV25 pilot, but proved too clumsy to use anything larger than a 15. He was promoted to commander, but judging from the damage he was able to cause whilst in an XV25 they permitted him to keep his Stealthsuit.

He became a master of striking from the shadows, killing important figures in the enemy army before returning to his Teleport Homer (see the rules section). Darksword commisioned a group of Earth caste artisans to modify his suit, equipping it with a downsized Railgun and upgrading it's stealth systems so that it was almost completely invisible. Whist with them he gave the idea creating Tau-shaped drones in Shas'la armour to serve as decoys. He took them all with him to T'au. He also showed increasing skill with a hand weapon.

When an Aun travelling with Commander Farsight requested transport to T'au, Darksword took his "Anthro-drones", Stealth teams and several teams of Fire warriors, and joined the crew of the ship sent to escort the Ethereal. On the way, however, their Leviathan supercruiser was boarded by Imperials en route. Darksword decided to try a daring move. He equipped all of his boarding party with Stealthsuits, then fooled the Space Marines aboard the enemy ship into thinking they were being boarded by nothing and that the Tau pods had launched by mistake. He snuck through the ship, killed the crew, and set the ship to crash into the planet below, but not before stealing a sword which had two extra blades to the side, and was flowing with a mysterious power. He returned to his own ship to find the Marines baffled by the Anthro-drones. He killed the Marines easily with his new weapon, and proceeded to the bridge, where he found a Captain about to kill Darksword's accompanying Aun, desperatly charged forward and impaled the holy marine on the sword. If the main blade wasn't enough to kill the Chaplain, the two side blades slicing his arms off definately did the job. The Leviathan seperated from the enemy ship and proceeded to head toward the Farsight Enclaves, intending to give the sword, which he had christened the "Tri-Talon", as a goodwill gift.

However, word reached him that the Ethereal who had requested transport was dead and Farsight had been cut off from the Greater Good. Darksword Returned to T'au and presented the Tri-Talon to the Ethereals. They allowed him to keep it, seeing no use for the weapon during the Third Phase Expansion.

Physical Attributes.

Not much is known about his appearance, as he is hardly ever seen minus some form of armour. It is believed that his wife and son are the only people to see him in civilian clothing since his first Trial by Fire. He is more muscular than normal Tau and spends much of his free time training.

Rules.

Tri-Talon: Every other turn (including the first turn) Darksword may make a close combat attack that allows no armour saves and has a -1 modifier on invunerable saves. If he does so he may not use it the next turn. If he does not use it for two turns, he may not use it twice in a row.

Silent Assassin: At the start of a game, Darksword may place a teleport homer behind friendly lines. If he does so, He may deploy 6 inches from an enemy unit, and on the first turn walk up to them and kill one troop or character costing below 150pts (Named characters and characters of a higher point total only take one wound) with the Tri-Talon, then teleport back to his teleport homer. Darksword does not need to make any rolls when using this skill.

Advanced Stealthsuit: Darksword's suit fades in and out of the visible spectrum constantly. As such, any models attacking him suffer a -2 penalty to hit at range.

Independent Character: See Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.

Darksword may only be taken in a force of 1500 points or more.

Darksword may select wargear from the battlesuit wargear section.

Wargear: XV15 Stealthsuit, Railgun, Tri-Talon, Ejection system.

While the tri-talon is cool, it is overpowered. You could kill a chapter master in terminator armour with a storm shield and feel no pain with that thing. It should be you should get to make an assault against that character but the enemy character cannot strike back.

Oh, and stealthsuit type armour has a 3+ save.

Oh and imperials havent set foot in tau airspace since the damocles gulf crusade. And space marines wouldn't normally fall for that, unless it was the space wolves, and in that case you would be f**kd, since space wolves have heghtened senses above normal marines.

Meh, they were there cause I needed to show off the Tri-Talon's Marine-pwning power. Effectively, they were there because I say so.

And try to not to start a flame war over the Talon. I have changed it, and this is just a piece of HARMLESS CREATIVITY.

Had this rant burning my skull ALL DAY.

I'm Teridax295, good night, and good luck.
