Yes she has been checked for a microchip, but no luck. We have rung the police and the Dog Warden and they have her description and our details but still no luck.

Ah yes Joseph we know what you mean, we'd love to keep her but still have to try and make effort for the time being to find her owners . xx

I agree, I think you should keep looking for the time being. Im sure we can all appreciate how gutted we would all be if one of ours was found and someone just decided to keep them.

I know , I know , your right. I had the same problem 20 yrs ago, when my dog jumped the fence and went for a stroll . We got him back after we put out flyer's in the local shops, sport centres and local community buildings.

Yes we couldn't imagine if we lost our Ding and the people just kept him for themselves, there isn't much more we can do now other than wait. We were going to put posters up but the Dog Warden advised us not to as we might get random people trying to claim her. x

Hi there everyone! Just to let you all know the owner came forward today - we had a phone call from the Warden saying someone had come forward and they gave us his number and said that we could question the guy. So we rung him and asked him for specific markings etc and he new them all! We met up with him this morning and he is really nice and she loved it when she saw her owner. We are both really pleased that we found her owner. Thanks for all your help everyone. xxx

That's great news. I hope they do the right thing now and get her chipped plus put a collar with their phone number on her. I'm sure you were sad to see her go but at least they were lucky enough that you found her, a lot of people wouldn't have gone to the lengths that you did. Nice 1!

Thanks every1! we were so sad to see her go - we miss seeing her tail going crazy everytime we came downstairs lol. Ding was a bit quiet at first but is perking up now.

We are glad we put the effort in to find her owners and wish that if we ever lost Ding that people would put the same effort in for us lol (he's too much of a wimp and wouldn't leave us tbh thank god!).

she did make us realise that owning 2 dogs doesn't seem that much harder than just 1 so we would love to get another puppy LOL - will have to wait a bit I think.

Anyways thanks again for all the help every1 - Both the owner and her were sooooo happy to see each other so im really glad it all workd out in the end!

Yeah it was really hard to see her go as we had all bonded with her, especially Dingo.
He didn't say why it took so long, he said he had been ringing all the Vets and looking for her everywhere, and then he rung the warden and they told him we had her - I guess he didn't ring the Dog Warden or Council straight away otherwise he would of found her sooner.
We really do miss her though and hope she has gone back to a good home and that they will be more responsible.
