I was just down the field walking Brindle and Tank and i got chatting to a bloke who is trying to rehome this lovely looking dog he is a staff cross.
The story is some thing like this.

His son come home one night with this dog, as he was down the park there where a group of kids trying to get this dog to fight other
dogs but he would'nt so one thing led to another and his son took the dog home. But i was speaking to this guy and he said that because
of his work they cant keep him and his not much of a dog man they have a cat. They have had this dog since september and have had no
trouble with him, he was born 6th jan 08. I was talking to him for about 20 mins and the dog was great, pulling abit but what staff dont.
Anyway if anyone can help this guy out send me a post

thank

I wonder why the son whos dad wasnt a dog man but a cat man was allowed to keep a dog 5 - 6 months after bringing it home then decide they cant cope with it, I do know your heart is in the right place and trying to help someone else out is commendable but unfortunately people are not always honest when it comes to the reasons for re-homing..
If you are unable to take the dog and evaluate it yourself then id recommend they take it to a rescue centre that will or re-home with a friend or family member that already knows the dog. I can almost guarantee with a comment like "I cant keep the dog because of my work" the dog is either noisy when alone or destructive or both! but if they are wanting to pass on the dog they wouldnt say wouldnt say, its sad but we have to remember not everyone loves their dogs.

Was thinking the same thing but didn't like to say. I thought why if the dog is good as gold would you get rid and why try it on someone in a park? Sorry for being mistrustful but have heard these stories sooooo many times.
