Finally got through that reading. Very interesting stuff there, and definitely relevant to our subject. Now that I read about Bandura, I remember his experiment being mentioned in my psych book, which has gone missing (mostly worthless content anyway) I still haven't had the chance to listen to that podcast. Found out my room has carpet beetles and that it's the likely cause of my case of dermatitis, so I'm on the process of cleaning that... Stupid bugs and their fuzzy, dermatitis causing hairs. |

Oh humbug, I don't hear last weeks podcast until today, now this weeks is out, and we were supposed to have the client brief done yesterday. And JD should stop giving horrible ideas. I like my GPA as it is. So I get extra credit if I say "process"? Okay... This here is exactly one hunerd 'n eighty werds:
I got this, but I think we still need to talk it over. I thought I'd do this so we could have an idea of what needs to be discussed. I think we should talk about parenting techniques as well as the effects this has on children. Something to consider: children are watching tv when their parents should be spending some quality time with them. I'd like to look into the parenting, since this is probably going to be directed to parents. Pick and choose the specific things in here that interest you in particular and we can talk some more ![]() Also, have you ever used blogger.com? The bosses prefer blogs, so if you're comfortable with blogs, then I see no reason to not switch. I know how to set one up, so if you're familiar with how they work, then there should be no problem. |

We're not ready to do the client brief yet, since we don't even quite know what we want. We need to figure out our objective first, which is why we need the 180, 90, and 10 words. I don't think our discussion clearly defined what our objective is in the first place, which is why I wanted to discuss this some more. What we have is mostly research. What do we want to say through this project? Also, I have a lot to do tomorrow... and Saturday... and Sunday... and I work Monday. Schedule isn't looking good. |

i think your right the root problem is bad parenting, we should discuss options about properly educating parents about violent tv programs, and the effects they could have on their children. |

we could also tell parents about resources they have availble to them to assist them with ensuring children do not watch violent programs. |

90 wrds Children who are allowed to watch violent programs become desensitized to real world violence. Children are likley to imitate behavior they see on tv by observational learning. Children who spend more than 4 hours a day watching tv are proned to being obese. Children can learn risky behaviors such as sex, violence and drugs from TV programs and commercials. Parents should restrict children from viewing violent programs. By providing resources and educating parents, we can ensure children will not likely be exposed to violent and harmful TV programs which can promote risky behaviors. |
