When Wu had finished at the book store, he slipped his new book into his toy bag and made his way down to the food court. He was somehow certain that if he got to know this book series Nuan-Ya seemed interested in, she would like him better. Or, at least he'd have more to talk about with her... He stopped to pick up a burger, pumpkin-potato fries, and a drink before taking a seat. Wu pulled Passionbenders out of his bag and began reading the new novel unabashedly as he picked at his food. |

After a day of shopping for all her back to school needs, Lashy made her way to the food court to get some lunch. She stopped at Noodlez and got some "Fried noodlez". Making her way to an empty seat she passed a boy sitting reading. Sadly she didn't see a seat that had been pushed out right in front of her and she proceeded to trip right over it, spilling her food everywhere. |

Wu glanced up as a girl walked by, then stared as she fell straight into her food. If it had been a guy, he probably would have laughed, but it wasn't as amusing with a girl. He dropped the book to the table and went to help her up. "Hey, are you okay?" He didn't recognize her, though she looked about his age. |

Lashy looked up to see a the boy, she blushed. "Oh yeah I'm just fine...happens all the time...you know walking down the hall and whoops, fall down....but yeah this is totally normal and just everyday life for me....You think something like this wouldn't surprise me but hey it is a little surprise everyday....I'm super fine and dandy...Just wish my food didn't have to fall all over...was so looking forward to those noodles. They smelled so good today...that upsets me....Oh I didn't bother you did I? Don't mind me...thanks thought...but don't mind me, I'm fine!" She beamed him a smile. |

Wu kept trying to answer the girl, but she started talking again before he could...repeatedly. When he was fairly sure she was done, he gave it just a few more seconds to be safe, finally taking her bright smile as a chance to cut in. "I'm glad you're okay... Uh...I'm Wu." She had sounded a bit upset at losing her lunch, so to speak. Wu was eager to make her feel better. "Can I buy you some more noodles? And..uh, it might be safer if you let me carry them to the table for you, too." |

Lashy beamed, "HI Wu!" She said, "I'm Lashy...well my real name is Lasya..but everyone seems to call me Lashy for some reason, I never could figure it out. Maybe because the two sound similar. I don't know what do you think. Oh well as for the noodles, I would be super super super sweet for you to buy me some more, but that would be asking to much! I have no problem paying for another one myself! See this type of stuff always seems to happen to me, so I bring extra money just incase! But I wouldn't mind you carrying it for me! see I'm a tab bit clumsy. My dad says it was odd for me to be clumsy since I'm an airbender and all! And you know we are supposed to be graceful and light as the wind. But nope, I end up tripping over my heels all the time. Thank you though, and I'm sorry for distracting you from your book? What are you reading any ways? Is it good?" |

Wu has have a hard time answering anything. By the time Lashy finished, he'd forgotten half the things she asked. She was too cute to ignore, though. "Uh..it's...Passionbenders," he admitted softly. "I just started it. And...I'd be happy to carry your noodles." He set the book down on his table, took the pigtailed girl's hand and tugged her gently toward the noodle stand. |

Lashy's smiled even bigger. "You are such a nice person you know that!" She walked next to him, "So Passionbenders? I've never heard of that. Then again I really don't read much. I should. But I really could never concentrate on one thing. I guess that's why I'm not very good at school. Hey you go to Four Nations right? I might have seen you around. Then again, I'm not great at remembering names! I'm lucky I remember my own!" |

Wu couldn't help laughing every time Lashy asked him a question, then continued speaking before he could answer. He slowly led her over to the Noodlez stand as she spoke. When she stopped to take a breath, he tried to answer. "Ya, I go there. I'm not that great at it either. There are always more interesting things to do in class, ya know?" He did remember names, though. Well, girls' names, at least. The girls were usually his distractions in class, as well. |
