Beginner Scythe Meister Posts: 20 Group: Members Member #503 Joined: Jul 13, 2012	Layle yawned as he stepped outside of John F. Kennedy International Airport. The plane ride was okay, nothing out of the normal happening. Layle looked around as he repositioned the backpack he had on his shoulder that held the things he brought. 'Okay so we are suppose to find a Kishin egg here. Great, no wonder Soul Perception was a requirement.' Layle sighed as he took in the size of the little area he could see and the swarms of people that were there. Layle briefly closed his eyes to concentrate, which actually took a minute due to the surrounding noise. Once he opened them, he could see the souls of those around him. All the souls he saw were blue souls, the souls of innocent people. Layle tried scanning underneath the streets, but came up with nothing. Layle sighed as he switched back to his normal eye sight. He wondered if the thickness of cement interfered with his Soul Perception, or if the kishin egg was out of his range, seeing as it was reported to hide in the sewers during the day.'I wonder, would it be smarter to go into the sewers and find the kishin egg, or to wait till it night when it comes out.' Layle tried to decide, but he thought both would be pretty much the same. 'On one hand if we go into the sewer, we might catch it off guard, but then again we are in his home turf. Also if we wait till nightfall, we only have a little bit to find him before he can try and kill again. Either way it's risky to me.' Layle thought about this for a minute but still came to no conclusion. "Well now, what the hell do we do now." Layle said this out loud, frustrated, to no one in particular. ' Oh well I guess I should ask Chi.' With this thought Layle turned around to find the white haired girl. occ Once again I hope this is okay

Chi was put off by the large number of people making their way out of the airport. She had taken her time and remained a few paces behind Layle. The albino took off her headphones briefly only to hear the excruciating noise of all the human souls around them. She then quickly pulled up her headphones and put on glasses and evened opened a parasol before getting out into the sun next to Layle. ‘I can’t hear far… but with all this blue could easily drown out the kishin egg’ Chihaya blinked as she saw her partner had turned around. “What is the plan? I think it would be easier just to wait for the Kishin to kill again… what a bore…” Though it would be the more sensible plan because they couldn’t just go in the sewers they needed a map or something first. “It’ll be a maze down there… we run the risk of getting lost and fighting in a small space. Though either way doesn’t matter to me, in fact I think the sewer option could be interesting.” Chi then tilted her head. “But first thing is first how are we going to get around?” Chihaya was in fact clueless as to how the common person got around a city so big. Back home she was escorted place to place in a limo and always have a bodyguard with her. Plus even with the missions she had gone on she hadn't seen much of the world. He knew that they shouldn't let another innocent person die if it could be avoided. "No, I pretty sure thats a bad idea. How about trying to find it in the sewers?" Layle was pretty sure now that this was the way to go, though it might be tricky, and dangerous. “It’ll be a maze down there… we run the risk of getting lost and fighting in a small space. Though either way doesn’t matter to me, in fact I think the sewer option could be interesting.” Layle smiled at when his partner said. 'Though she is right, we could get lost and... wait a minute.' Suddenly Layle had a thought. 'What if the Kishin egg only hunts near its home, then if we find out where most of the attacks are then maybe we could narrow our search.' “But first thing is first how are we going to get around?” Layle was so lost in thought that he almost did hear Chi say this. When he did hear it he nearly laughed. 'Well now I am glad I went to public school.' Layle thought for a moment before replying to her. "Well there is only three ways I can think off the top of my head and thats either walking, going on the subway, or catching a cab. In any case we should start asking around to see where the attacks have been, to try and narrow our search" Layle said this, as he tried to think of other options. Layle couldn't think of any as he looked around again for any other ideas. 'Well now, this is already either a good start, or a bad one. I hope we can find out some clues to where the kishin egg is hiding.'

"It really doesn't matter to me or anything but can't we just get the information we need at a police station or the library? It just seems like too much trouble to ask all these normal people for information they probably don't have. It is in their nature just to ignore things that don't involve them." She blinked a few times and then went over to stare blankly into Layle's eyes for a few awkward seconds. "I'm also bringing this point up because I don't do well in uv rays." She was wearing sun screen but that would only last her so long before she had to apply more on. The curse of being a delicate pale girl she had to do many things in order to prevent the damaging of her skin. "Either way what ever you want to do is fine with me... my soul perception only has so far of a range so I can only hear directly below us..." She stared at the concrete below them. "I wouldn't really be able to rely on it for direction anyway."

Beginner Scythe Meister Posts: 20 Group: Members Member #503 Joined: Jul 13, 2012	Layle thought about what Chi had just said, well not the whole UV rays thing, but the whole finding the information in the library or from the police. 'She is probably right, but how in the world are we suppose to... man i'm an idiot.' Layle hit his head with the palm of his hand as he thought of something that might help. "Wait here Chi, I got to get something." Layle ran back inside the airport as he said this, his hand reaching for his back pocket. Layle returned a few minutes later with a map of New York City. "Well I'm officially an idiot, I should have gotten this a while ago." ]Layle opened the map and looked for something in particular. He ran his finger over the map several times. "Okay, so if we get on the subway thats just a block west of here, and ride two stations down we should be able to the nearest police staiton." Layle said this tracing the path that he was talking about, then folded the map back up and looked at Chi. "So shall we get moving."

SailorMint the Great :D Posts: 266 Group: Members Member #14 Joined: Feb 28, 2009	Chi stared blankly as her partner ran off somewhere while she was standing completely still a few children had pointed out she looked like a ghost while their mothers pulled them off and a few people stared in aw over her unnatural beauty. When Layle came back and called himself an idiot Chihaya reached out and patted him on the head. "There, there, not everyone can have a high IQ." Once again Chi had taken something someone said in the literal sense. Chi stared blankly at the map over his shoulder it didn't take her too long to figure out the directions. However Chi knew she had a habit of getting distracted and getting separated from her partner and honestly this time around she did not want to mess things up too badly this time around so she grabbed onto the back of Layle's jacket. "Lead the way."

After going down the stairs and paying for the tickets, they waited around the loading area for about thirty minutes. Finally they we're able to board. Layle stood during the ride. 'Man, I wonder if we can really find anything out from the police. Hell, I wonder if they'll even talk to us.' Layel thought this as the train came to its first stop. 'Well I guess we could always show our Shibusen Identification cards. Well two more stops and we will find out.' Layle smiled as the train took off again. A few minutes later Layle pulled out a book out of his bag, and started reading, looking up every so often to check the time and to see how far they were to their destination.

She thought if her parents knew she was in such a dirty place they might freak out. When they boarded she placed her closed up parasol next to Layle and pulled her sunglasses to rest on the top of her head. While Layle was reading his book, Chi was looking out the window as if an attempt to see something out there. The train stopped a few times and they eventually came to the stop they wanted and got off the train. Before exiting Chi put on her glasses again so her eyes would have an easier time adjusting to the light. She looked around before asking, "Which way do we go now?"
