Sockface drooped. He had been sitting in the library for some time now, trapped by a large group of rowdy teens. Initially he had entered the sanctuary for a bit of peace and quiet. He enjoyed the plush carpets (despite their hideous apricot colour) that absorbed noise like a sponge absorbs water. He enjoyed the feeling of the books piled around him. It was like a weight that pressed comfortingly down, smothering sounds, and calming the otherwise energetic students of Shibusen. The smell of the books hung in the air, along with an army of dust particles. They stirred only briefly as someone passed, like mud in murky waters, making the air thick and rich. Breathing in the library it would not have been foolish to feel as though one were breathing in the books themselves. Even the light in the library seemed slow and syrupy, streaming in honeyed beams through high windows to warm the ground in patches. It was into this quiet haven the living doll had snuck. No one had seen him enter the library, and no doubt no one would see him go. He greatly disliked people seeing him move about, as it usually caused him untold difficulties. Many students in Shibusen, upon seeing Sockface moving around, immediately thought ‘kishin-egg’, and many of the animals thought ‘chew toy’. It was for this reason that Sockface never bothered trying to approach strangers, and preferred to act like an inanimate object should anyone approach him. The heady atmosphere of calm learning, and silent introspection in the library was usually enough to dampen even the most boisterous of students, but not today. Sockface had found himself a comfortable perch, on a chair at one of the private research tables in the little used reference section. He had taken with him a novel that was particularly enjoyable, and had just gotten up to a good bit when the noisy children had arrived. The hessian meister had immediately slumped forward over his book, pretending to be just a strange looking toy, and the students had laughed and wondered who had set it up to look as though the ‘teddy bear’ was reading. Without warning, Sockface had been rudely dumped on the ground, along with his novel. They hadn’t even bothered replacing the bookmark, so he had lost his page. The students had then proceeded to gossip loudly and inanely about who would be going out that night and with whom. They talked about cool weapons they had seen and cute meisters they would like to partner up with. All the while their mobiles beeped and rang, as they received text messages and sent them at a pace that boggled the mind, all the while keeping up their constant stream of chatter. Slowly the hessian meister started creeping away, but one student had spotted him. “Oh MY GOSH! Did, like, the creepy doll move? That thing is like, so weird, it freaks me out just like... looking at it, you know? It’s like gonna come and murder me in my sleep!” The group laughed and started talking about horror movies that they had seen, leaving Sockface frozen in place, not wanting to give the game away, but unwilling to stay any longer than he had to. |

In the corner, a pink haired girl groaned. She’d come to the library for the same reason Sockface had, for a little peace and quiet and hopefully a good read. As such, she’d found herself a nice, secluded corner where she thought she’d be able to achieve said goal, but no. With the invasion of the blabbering airheads all hopes of a serene atmosphere was shattered as they’d stampeded in and laid claim to a table all too close to Lucy’s. It was annoying. Very annoying in fact, and the Transylvanian didn’t much like it when things annoyed her. She just didn’t have the patience for people who got on her nerves. Closing the heavy leather bound tome she’d been reading, the slender girl brushed a strand of soft long hair from her face and proceeded to stand to her feet without as much as a sound. She looked like she was maybe in her mid-teens, thin body, a youthful face and perhaps a bit lacking when it came to feminine curves. Yet something in her eyes suggested she wasn’t neither as frail nor young as she looked. And even if she had been it would have made no difference, because her patience had already been stretched thin. So, without as much as a word, she picked up the tome, walked over to the table where the other teens where sitting and proceeded to slam the book so hard into the table top it actually crushed one of the cell phones it landed on. Needless to say this caused the teenagers to freeze, if only for a brief moment. Their mouth’s wide open as the pink haired girl pouted her lips to let a bubble gum bubble form before popping it with her tongue. ”This is a library. And as such, you’re expected to shut the heck up” she said calmly, still chewing on the piece of gum as she patted a manicured hand on the tome, the sound of plastic breaking beneath it like music to her ears as she pulled back. Lucy was good at that, stepping on people’s toes. It didn’t always shut them up for very long, but by the gods did she enjoy it, especially when it was the toes of blabbering idiots. It would seem a couple of them were inclined to protest, but by then Lucy had already moved past the table to pick up the novel they’d thrown on the floor. Ignorant little kids, that’s what they were, Lucy growled in the back of her mind as she straightened one of the pages that had gotten wrinkled because of the manhandling. Anyone who wasn’t intellectually bright enough to understand the value of a good book deserved more than a smashed cellphone but seeing as she wasn’t up for picking a fight in the library, that would have to wait. Besides, she thought as she reached out, wanting to pick up Sockface. She’d found something far more interesting than playing the strings of a few loud mouthed students, as she, for one, knew that she’d seen the little creature actually move. |

With patience feeling very thin in deed Sockface wished there was some way to shut out the noise. It wasn’t even chatter it was just noise. Quietly he watched as one of the teen’s feet edged closer and closer to stomping on his book. For this reason alone he didn’t notice the pink haired girl, that and the fact that she fell under the same category (in his opinion) as the people who had so rudely dumped him from his seat. SLAM Even Sockface jumped in surprise before huddling down, ever more sulkily than before. There was a moment of stunned silence, the kind where a group-full of gazes had just landed on the culprit of the noise, and were silently asking ‘why’. The silence was broken by a tortured whine from a cell phone, the kind that indicated an otherwise long and healthy life, full of use had been cut short. Sockface lacked the required features to smile, but he felt a small glow of satisfaction deep within. Suddenly the giant heavy boots in front of him didn’t seem so bad after all. There was the sound of chewing filling the silence, before a distinctly feminine, but no-nonsense voice spoke up, ”This is a library. And as such, you’re expected to shut the heck up” Sockface was glad he’d learned how to sigh, and sigh he did. It was exactly the thoughts he’d been having over and over again, but had been unable to say. Even more surprising than the words Sockface had been thinking being spoken by what looked like a pink gothic girl, was the fact that the other teens did actually shut up (although one sobbed loudly, as the quiet, subtle sounds of something shattering under pressure went on). The only problem was that now the girl had turned, and was picking up his book from the lush carpeting. She treated it with respect, and that was good enough for Sockface. Admitting in the privacy of his own mind that he’d misjudged the girl, the hessian A hand quickly collected him, and Sockface paused for a moment before starting communication. ‘Please culd yeh not put my book in the return chute? Aye haven’ finished reading et yet. Ahm Sockface, by theh way.’ As always his mental voice was peppered with a Scottish accent. Although it was very light, almost indiscernible, at moments of great stress it would grow heavier and harder to understand. He sincerely hoped that he hadn’t misjudged the pink haired stranger, who he had simply assumed was a level headed person, probably from Shibusen, who was not only capable of dealing with a talking doll, but had also experienced far stranger things in their lifetime.

The girl arched an eyebrow but didn’t reply straight away as Sockface’ voice echoed through her mind. Rather, she cradled him and the book surprisingly gently in her arms and proceeded to exit the library before any of the teens she’d just shut up decided to give her any lip. Because even if she knew better, should that happen she knew with herself that she’d be unable to keep a straight face and things would get, well, sticky. Walking outside in the hallway, she made a right turn and moved down the corridor until she found a quiet spot by a window. One would’ve thought that in a place as big as Shibusen it would have been easier to come across a quiet corner, but at the very least the corridor appeared sparsely visited. ”Sockface huh?” the girl finally spoke, placing the book down on the window sill before doing the same with Sockface’ rag doll-like body, propping him up against the wall so he wouldn’t fall over for now. ”That’s an original name” Lucy squatted down next to the window so her nose was level with the window sill and rested her elbows on it while eyeing him with an inquisitive gaze. Wetter or not that was a good thing though was difficult to decide, as one could easily draw the comparison to a cat eyeing a new discovery as if trying to figure out wetter to hug it, play with it or eat it. Well, at least the latter was unlikely in Lucy’s case, but still there was something slightly unsettling about her. Another pink bubble formed on her lips and popped before Lucy carefully lifted her arm above her head and stretched out a single manicured finger to poke Sockface in the stomach. It wasn’t hard, nor repeatedly, it felt more as if she was trying to figure out what he could possibly be made of to be able to talk and move, seeing as he was in no way a breathing, living being per the definitions most used to categorize life. Poking him didn’t seem to do much for bettering her understanding of him though as she rested her hand back on the window sill. ”You’re some kind of construct aren’t you?” the girl said in a way that suggested it was more of a rhetorical statement rather than an actual question. ”Pretty damn amazing” she added after a moment as the corner of her lips curled into a smirk. ”And really, really fascinating” The girl extended her arm again, offering him a finger rather than her whole hand as his size made it kind of hard to give a proper handshake anyways. ”I’m Lucy, Lucy Fehrer. A pleasure to meet you” |

Had she not heard him? No there was no way she could ignore his voice, which would have been easily audible within her mind, as it was not encumbered by the relatively lengthy and unreliable process of sound waves being created, received and interpreted. In silence the two proceeded from the library. Suddenly feeling slightly unsure of where the encounter was going, the newly affirmed weapon was very tempted to drop and flee, but it wasn’t like she was gripping onto him tightly or being overly menacing, and by the time he was starting to worry about a lack of witnesses in the hallways the girl was coming to a halt. The window that she chose looked out upon Shibusen gardens. The gardens stretched out below languorously, seeming to cover a large area without even trying. A few pathways coiled through the green, but apart from that the area appeared to be quiet, for the moment. “Sockface, huh?” The girl arranged Sockface carefully, making sure his weight was balanced just right, so he wouldn’t fall out of his window ledge perch. Sockface started to feel rather awkward about the situation. She was clearly not your average pink haired girl. Blank white eyes peered up at shaded pink ones, and Sockface cautiously nodded his head in greeting. ”That’s an original name” Sockface couldn’t help but feel guilty, of course it wasn’t his real name, but it was what everyone called him, he’d even taken to thinking about himself as ‘Sockface’ rather than ‘Ahab’. One finger prodded at his gut, and withdrew. Disconsolately the living doll rubbed the offended area, more to show his disapproval than to rearrange the stuffing into a more comfortable position. There was a ‘pop’ as the girl blew a bubble of gum. She exuded an aura, not a crappy faux psychic aura, but something more akin to a personal bubble. Within the bubble there was a certain mood that was created just by proximity to her. In short her personality seemed to be so large that it was taking over the immediate area around her actual body, as though it just couldn’t be contained. Her eyes were full of intelligent curiosity as they gazed distractedly both out of the window, and occasionally in Sockface’s direction. Like she was trying to figure out a particularly entertaining magic trick. Sockface was seriously pushing the boundaries of his comfort zone. Why did she want to talk to him exactly? ”You’re some kind of construct aren’t you? And really, really fascinating.” The girl extended a finger towards Sockface who, after a moment realised she intended it as a modified handshake. Gingerly the living doll took it in his cloth hand and gave it a solemn shake. ”I’m Lucy, Lucy Fehrer. A pleasure to meet you” ‘The pleasure es all mayne. Ah’ve yet te thank yeh fer dealin’ with the teens in the library. If et weren’t fer you Ah might hae still been stuck there.’ Someone walked quietly down the hall with an armful of books and gave the duo an odd look before hurrying on their way. Shifting slightly in his seat, the hessian weapon prolonged his contact with Lucy, ’Aye cen only talk teh ye in yer head. While Ahm en contact.’ With that he let go of her finger, not wanting to seem overly clingy. He wasn’t a touchy feely kind of |

”A psychic link through physical contact huh?“ Lucy nodded slowly, her strangely pink eyes focused on Sockface the whole time and seemingly completely ignoring anyone passing them by. She’d expected Shibusen would offer up some interesting people, but nothing like this. He was small, he was extraordinary to say the least, more interesting than anything she’d ever come across, definitely one of a kind and not to forget, polite. It was as if someone had decided to animate one of the many stuffed animals of varying gothic (and sometimes freaky) design that inhabited her room. Lucy absolutely loved it. Heck, she could probably write a whole master’s degree on the subject of this one fascinating being and still not grow bored with the subject. In fact, she found there was so much she wanted to as him she didn’t know where to start, an unusual conundrum for Lucy. ”That’s a pretty neat trick“ It would seem he wanted to talk again as he reached out to touch her but before she could offer him her hand again, the sound of impending trouble reached her ears. The rumbling of determined feet moving down the corridors, heading in her direction suggesting that the herd had finally come to understand what had happened back at the library. And to think it only took them about four minutes to do so, not bad., Lucy would’ve guessed it would at least have taken them twice that long. Giving Sockface one of her unsettling grins, Lucy straightened up and reached out to pick him up again, still with the same gentle care as before. For some reason though, something about her suggested that she only ever treated things she found interesting enough so gentle, because the rest of her suggested she’d sooner try to kick someone’s head in rather than offer a helping hand. Especially the spiked boots suggested this. ”You’ll have to excuse this intrusion“ she said, placing him on her right shoulder within reach of one of her long ponytails. ”But for the time being, bear with me“ No sooner had she said so though before the rumbling stampede of teens rounded the corner of the corridor, the leader, or rather the guy in the front of the group, exclaiming a rather high pitched “There she is!” upon realizing her presence. Lucy though said nothing, chewing silently on her gum as she folded her hands behind her back and took a step towards her left to place her in the center of the corridor as the herd of people came to an abrupt halt. With Sockface on her shoulder he should be able to maintain communication with her, what she wasn’t so sure about though was wetter or not she could speak to him in the same manner. In response to the incoming hail of badly constructed insults and demands for a new cellphone though, all the pink haired girl did was blow another bubble and tilt her head slightly to the side. The gum making a distinct popping sound as it burst a few moments later. If anything her indifference seemed to infuriate them further, though still Lucy did nothing but stand her ground, staring at them with the gaze of a bored older sister who’d grown tired of her younger siblings. ”So“ she finally interrupted them after a few moments, talking to Sockface without taking her eyes off the other teens, another bubble forming on her lips and popping before she continued. ”How much noise can we make before the higher ups starts taking notice?“ Lucy lifted her right foot off the ground and stretched her leg out, letting it linger in the air for a moment before leaning forward as if to take a step towards the teens. ”I mean… they were pretty noisy back there. I bet I can be twice that noisy and still no one would come running…“ the Transylvanian grinned, placing her foot down with a low thump as she completed the step. |

Sockface felt a bit odd sitting upon a shoulder. He could see over the top of Lucy’s head, and his arms (which were just shy of being 3 feet long) gently held him in place by resting on the girl’s head. Her pink hair was surprisingly soft – not at all like hair that had been bleached and recoloured, leading the weapon to wonder if it was natural. Like a many legged beast, the group of teens burst forth from the library, piling into the hall in a mess of brightly coloured bags, trendy clothes, and cell phones. Giving the group a good look over it was obvious that they were from wealthy to middle-class families that spoiled them, stunting their personal development as human beings. Their expensive clothes and other personal possessions, along with their childish attitudes said it all. The living doll lacked facial features, but if he’d been able to express himself visually, he’d be frowning. The leader of the pack shouted out in a prepubescent voice, hoping to sound manly as he and his buddies turned to confront Lucy and Sockface. “You broke our phone for no reason... Like we weren’t even being that noisy, you’re just selfish!... YEAH! the library is for like... everyone you know? YEAH! and we’re part of everyone, ‘cos like, everyone is everyone. DAH.” One of the group spoke up, periodically turning to see nods of approval from their friends. They appeared to be the type that didn’t do anything unless they knew they had people backing them up. ”So... How much noise can we make before the higher ups starts taking notice?“ Lucy seemed to be as frustrated as Sockface. Her thinly veiled threats did nothing to deter the group. They were clearly too stupid to know what was best for them, and too rich to have ever gotten into a real fight. Despite that, they did have advantage of numbers, and they were possibly young Shibusen students, meaning that despite appearances, some could be quite deadly. ”I mean… they were pretty noisy back there. I bet I can be twice that noisy and still no one would come running…“ One heavy boot clumped loudly to the ground. The group hardly seemed to notice. They still thought they could cow Lucy by berating her loudly and angrily, but hadn’t yet caught on to the fact that she probably wasn’t being affected at all by their absurd logic and rude words. If anything they were just digging their own graves. They lacked, or so it seemed to Sockface, a general sense of self preservation. Lucy still had a slowly widening grin on her face, surely that should clue them in, if nothing else. One of the boys skittered forward, mock cowering, “ooooohhhh so scary~ What are you gonna do? Stomp at me! Boo hoo! I’m so terrified!” The other teens laughed, although the joke itself wasn’t funny, but they felt an unconscious need to act as a group, almost as if something in the back of their brains recognised that it was the only way they would be able to survive the encounter. Sockface wondered what Lucy’s plan could be. He suspected it had something to do with him coming to life and scaring the pants off the teens, especially considering they thought he was ‘creepy’ to begin with. It was a classic prank but one that never got old. Still she had asked him to follow her lead, and Sockface was curious to see what kind of plan she would come up with. ‘Ye cen talk teh me wi-ou’ talkin’ oot loud, if ye ken whit ahm sayin’? Like a meister talks te their weapon. Ahm ready te take these brahts doon a notch if yeh are.’ Edited by zippy_zippy_no, Jun 17 2010, 06:17 AM.

Loud mouthed, stubborn and spoiled, if Lucy’d had a little bit more insight she might have realized that she possessed those qualities as well, but even so that didn’t mean she couldn’t get annoyed at them. Especially when it took a lot less than this to get on her nerves. ”Exactly what I wanted to hear, my raggedy friend” Lucy replied through the mental link established between the two of them. It was quite practical not having to open her mouth to communicate, and though she hadn’t asked him directly, the way he had said it suggested that he might be exactly what she’d been looking for since arriving at Shibusen, a partner. ”Let’s step on some toes” Lucy took another couple of steps forward so that she was standing face to face with the boy who’d had the nerve to stand in front of the group and insult. In fact, she stepped so close that they were practically nose to nose, or as close to it as was possible seeing as Lucy would’ve had to stand on her toes to keep said noises level with each other. She pouted her lips, blew a big bubble and let it pop right in his face with a wide grin. ”I’d say sorry about this but well, it would be a lie” with which Lucy slammed the heel of her heavy, spiked boot down on the boy’s toes with all the strength she could muster. Most people didn’t wear steel capped boots except on special occasions or for work purposes, and this guy was wearing sneakers which meant that unless she possessed the worst luck in history of man, there ought to be a scream coming just about… now. The boy’s eyes widened briefly, his mouth already half open as if to tell her off for popping that gum in his face when the heel impacted with his toes. There wasn’t as much of a sound as there was a sensation as Lucy’s heel crushed the boy’s toes into the sole of his shoes as if attempting to pushed them all the way through to the floor had she been able to. The immediate reaction had been surprise, but it was soon replaced by a half choked scream as he staged back, tried to balance on his aching foot and proceeded to topple over, clenching it between his hands while continuing to howl like a banshee. So much for mr Tough guy huh? Lucy smirked, a sinister, dark little smirk on her pale lips as she extended her right arm. She could of course be mistaking, but seeing as she was gambling on Sockface’ abilities here, she might as well go full out and see where it took them. ”Usually, I try not to get into fights the first week of school” she said. ”But for you lot, I’ll gladly make an exception” ”Show me what you got” Edited by Scarecrow2nd, Jun 17 2010, 07:07 AM.

Sockface shook lightly, and there was an honestly amused chuckle in the mental connection he had with Lucy. When she said ‘stepping on toes’ she meant stepping on toes. He felt her shoulders shift as he rearranged her weight, lifted her foot and brought it down harshly on the very end of the soft shoe. If the boy’s toes weren’t broken, they could easily be dislocated or badly bruised but from the expression on his face and the shrill scream that muted into whimpers of outrage, Sockface suspected that it was broken. One of the other kneeled down next to the boy, who had promptly fallen onto his ass, and was clutching at his foot. They looked up, outrage clear on their face, “What have you done you crazy bi – “ The student, who had been about to shout more expletives found themselves looking up into the grinning face of Lucy, and realised that they were at ‘boot level’. Finally a shred of intelligence wormed its way out from the single brain cell the girl possessed, and she shut her mouth. For a moment it stayed shut but then it opened again. Then without any noise coming out it shut again. For a few moments the girl flapped her mouth open and closed, lost for words. ”Usually, I try not to get into fights the first week of school... But for you lot, I’ll gladly make an exception” Lucy sounded unimpressed, still keeping her cool despite the idiots in front of her. Eventually the girl kneeling at her boots, still holding the boy, managed to find her voice, and squeaked out, “We’ll tell on you! You’ll get in trouble for this!” Sockface performed his own version of a sneer. There would be no trouble. Fighting in the Shibusen halls wasn’t just a proud tradition, it was an officially sanctioned activity, albeit the school usually recommended that a teacher watched on to make sure things didn’t get out of hand. If the boy went to pieces over a broken toe or two, he would be a failure at Shibusen. The students there needed to be made of tougher stuff than that. Prompted by Lucy, Sockface stood on her shoulder, before jumping off to land in front of the girl who was making threats. As he fell he increased his body weight until he weighed roughly the same as a small car. His impact on the tiles was met with a distinct crack as the tiles shattered under the sudden application of weight on such a small area. The girl’s eyes widened, and with a shriek she scrambled backwards, abandoning her injured friend in order to scramble to safety. “You think you’re tough?” Growled a sulky teen, stepping forward from the group. It was clearly their ‘tough guy’ but in terms of tough guys that Shibusen had to offer, the boy was still a child. “Just because you stomp on someone’s toes when they weren’t expecting it? You aren’t tough, I could take you and your little toy.” The boy spat on the floor, narrowly missing his friend, who gave him a glare. Sockface didn’t hold with talking during battle. He didn’t listen to monologues, and he didn’t dish them out, after all... actions spoke louder than words. Taking a few steps, Sockface leaped at the boy as the boy started forward at Lucy. They met halfway. Sockface was already shimmering with a bright white light. His body had started to shift, and the light seemed to disperse slightly before reforming in a new shape. The boy was floored, and winded, having been hit in the chest by a large, heavy anchor. He didn’t even have the breath with which to shout out a complaint. The boy wheezed out a curse, and Sockface reluctantly changed back to his doll-like form, not wanting to crush the boy to death. ‘I see your broken toes and raise you some broken ribs.’ Thought Sockface privately. Beating the boy hardly brought him satisfaction, as the opponent was clearly inexperienced, but the living doll hoped it would give the child more of an idea of their own level of ability. If it stopped them doing something stupid on a mission then it was a lesson worth teaching. |

Now that, Lucy thought, finding that she had trouble stifling a low chuckle, was impressive. She’d figured the little guy had some abilities, otherwise he wouldn’t have made it into Shibusen, but this? She sure as heck hadn’t expected the tiny rag doll to shift into something that big and heavy mid-air. To be honest, she wasn’t all too sure on what she had expected in the first place but this beat anything she could’ve come up with. Squatting down in front of the boy who’d fallen flat on back and who was currently wheezing for air, her long ponytails where close enough to the floor for Sockface to grab hold of if he wanted to so if he wanted to climb back up he could. Lucy tilted her head to one side then the other, resting her elbows on her knees as she slipped what appeared to be a lip stick from somewhere in her dress. It was kind of hard to tell were exactly she’d been keeping it seeing as there were no visible pockets, but it was there, clear as day in her hand, so she had to have kept it somewhere. Sockface had done quite a number on the guy who looked like he was struggling to decide on wetter the pain was most important at the moment or if he ought to be scared that the crazy little bitch, as his friend had called her, was currently dangling a pale pink lipstick above his head. Lucy though seemed surprisingly relaxed as of yet, slipping the top off the lipstick and proceeding to draw on the boy’s forehead. Apparently this surprised him as much as it did the others who stood silently for a few moments before opening their mouths to protest again only to have Lusy raise a single index finger at them in the same manner that a teacher would to tell a loud kid to shut up. This only seemed to anger them further but the shear surprise of what was going on, with the crushed toes and the living creature turning into a weapon and the pink haired girl acting as if they were air, they remained stationary. Fuming like geysers waiting to erupt. It didn’t take too long before Lucy, with a satisfied grin on her lip, popped the top back on her lipstick and eyed her handy work. The boy on the floor now with an intricate circular pattern stuck to his forehead, looking like the biggest question mark this side of school. ”There” Lucy concluded, moving the finger which had up until then lingered in the air in front of the other kids to hover just above his head in a surprisingly meanacingly manner. Which was actually quite impressive considering it was a manicured finger with star shaped patterns set in glitter on them. ”Itsy, bitsy spider….” she began in a soft, sweet voice laced with a poorly concealed layer of anger bubbling just beneath the surface of an otherwise quiet girl, drawing her finger in slow circles through the air above the lip stick pattern. ”went for a walk. He made a real racket and acted a jerk, until he hit a…” The boy’s eyes widened, Lucy raised her finger as if to bring it back down but just as it ought to have touched the boy was snagged by his friends and dragged out of Lucy’s reach by the shoulders of his expensive shirt, leaving Lucy’s finger hovering in the air for another moment or two. ”wall.. ”You’re crazy!” one of the girls shouted at Lucy as they helped their groaning companions on their feet, dragging them along as best they could, finding that retreat was the right decision to opt for as the situation currently stood. The pink haired girl rested her elbows back on her knees as she watched them stagger off while muttering and cursing both her and the creepy puppet, then sighed as she got to her feet again, slipping her lipstick back into her dress somewhere. They’d be back soon enough, that she was pretty sure of.
