Beatrix walked through an open field, wearing her normal clothes today, with only a fox mask to hide her identity. A letter was held in one hand, a map in the other, and the blonde's spirit detection active. She was following the gathering of darker souls more than the map, but it had helped her get this far. Two souls, she recognized, the shaman Gituku's and her partner Will's - Pi had said he'd gone missing, and Beatrix wasn't so surprised to see him here. Her Weapon was something of a social creature, contrasting their need for isolation thus-far, so even if he couldn't read the message, he might have instinctively come here. She could also sense Will's companions of choice, a couple witches, a kishin egg, and... another Weapon? Beatrix raised an eyebrow at this, hidden by her mask, and continued her approach.

It wasn't too long before she was near the meeting point described in the message, and she could see Gituku, a witch, and Will all gathered together, as well as the Kishin Egg approaching the trio. She walked calmly towards the witch, and heard Gituku's words, referring to the witch as Beryl, the person who sent the letter. Her mind flashed back to the memory of acquisition for a moment, a ride across a desert in the back of a stranger's pick-up truck.

"So, you're Beryl, I take it," Beatrix said, waving to the group with one hand, the one with the letter in it. She swiftly moved to hand it back to Beryl, nodding. "You can call me B for now, if you need a name. I see you've met a couple of my associates," she said, putting a bit of cheer in her voice, though she didn't even bother with a smile, her mouth hidden from view. "I've come to inquire about your school, if you don't mind my asking." As she spoke, she nodded to Gituku, who she remembered from Moriarty's group and the island, and to Will, raising an eyebrow at his dinosaur. "Nice friend you've got there."

Beryl's expression of outrage softened slightly as Gituku spoke the bathing stranger up, making him sound much greater than he looked. Then again looks could be deceiving. One wouldn't normally expect a short woman in a skirt to mastermind an evil organization of wicked souls either. Even listening to Gituku's advice on his friend's excellent condition, Will's word usage and odd behavior put a look of indecision on her face. Finally she merely sighed, about to bring everyone back inside when another of her messages made it's presence known.

"What's this?..." she remarked at yet another interruption, floating over the water as the centipede raced back to it's charge. "Come!" Beryl called to Raizen, beckoning to him. "You've received a message and thus are welcomed here!"

Her eye was quick to catch this new woman who named herself 'B', taking the letter from her slowly as she rubbed her chin in brief thought.

"Another..." she spoke before bringing a devious smile to her lips. "Wonderful. It seems my messages are indeed reaching their destinations. Very well then... B..." She floated back a bit to reach what was roughly the center of the newly amassed crowd, speaking loud enough for all gathered to hear. "Let us all gather together in my dining area then." She glanced around for a moment, scanning the air and the surrounding jungle carefully before continuing. "Our first class session will begin immediately in an area of comfort."

Beryl continued on her backwards float, only turning to open the doors to her school, quickly ushering everyone inside before levitating on ahead again and straight down the north hall to another pair of double doors. Decoration in this room was just as sparse as the rest of the structure, marked only by a large stone table of great length aligned East to West capable of seating at least 50 with plenty of room in between. The chairs were created from a light metal with cushions that would prevent them from becoming too terribly uncomfortable, though they weren't meant for sitting for long periods of time either.

The centipede witch floated straight over the table to the fireplace nearby, around the center of the north wall. It roared to life quickly with a bit of fiddling and fixing on her part before calming into a dull, crackling flame. Despite the warmth outside, the larger rooms of the newly formed academy were at a much cooler temperature than the surrounding areas, making the fire far from overkill and bringing a fine warmth to the area.

"Everyone, feel free to take a seat wherever you like so long as it's within hearing and speaking distance to the center." At that, Beryl herself came to the very center seat on the north side, pulled it out and sat to touch the ground for the first time that anyone had ever seen. Funny enough she preferred to remain levitated, even if it was never more than a foot above the ground. She remained quiet, eyes following the group as they took their positions wherever they chose. "We'll start with brief introductions. As everyone already knows, I am Witch Beryl and you now sit within my newly built school for those from the darker side of life. While functioning with classes to further hone power, skill and cooperation we also function as Shinigami's Scourge, a direct opposite force to the insanity present in his academy's methods. I've spent hundreds of years in preparation for this day and I plan to see Shinigami's dark reign come to an end once and for all, paving the way for a life free of his shadow looming over us all in truly bigoted judgment. No one person has accomplished very much to that end, but I believe adopting Shinigami's own methods and using them against him is the best method in dealing with this problem he's presented us. If you failed to notice, the main square just outside this hall has a large board posted with missions large and small across it. You'll be separated into teams to handle these missions, furthering our goals little by little and increasing our strength until we've finally gained the ability to rise up in ultimate protest."

She took in a quiet breath and released it at the end, waving her arm out to all those present before bringing it back to the sheep shearer she'd set upon the table threateningly at the beginning of her speech for a certain sleepy sheep. "I'd like to welcome each and every one of you to the beginnings of a great accomplishment on all our parts. Now for the true focus of our first meeting. I'd like to go around the room with introductions from everyone now that I've given mine. A name is a good start for everyone so that everyone knows what to call you. If we're all to work closely together we'll at least need to know that. Anything else you'd like to share or not share for the moment is perfectly fine. I don't expect you to go spouting strengths and weaknesses on your first meeting with total strangers present, but at least things like motivation, opinions or suggestions are most welcome. I'll also accept any questions you might still have now that I've finished my brief explanation. If anyone would like to simply leave this most worthy cause and strike out on their own existence again, this is also the time to do that. Anyone may start speaking now..." Her eyes shifted over the attendees expectantly, waiting for the first to speak up.

Heru followed Beryl back into the school and too the large dining room. He was hungry and glad to be going to some place that had food. Ears turned back as he listened to everyone following. This place was weird and he wasn't too sure about being this close to all these people but he would follow Beryl where ever she would take him. Taking a seat closest to Beryl he leaned over after she was done speaking hoping he wasn't interrupting anyone. "Beryl?" He whispered softly. "I want to....... ask if you would officially be my meister?" His ears perked up a a little as he stood. "My Name is Heru." He sat down quickly again not wanting to say much more then that. Unlike the rest of the people who had shown up here he wasn't evil....... yet for now just his name would do.

Raizen watched as the dark skinned man talked the bather from his wash, with calls of an old friend, and the annoyed look of the small witch vanish. Then he watched as another arrived to the location a woman.

“What’s this…Come!” he saw the witch realized he was there, "You've received a message and thus are welcomed here!"

Raizen said nothing as he made his way towards the which, he looked at the river in front of him, not wanting to get wet, he jumped across, and landed with a small dust cloud on the other side. Raizen looked at the others then at the witch "Let us all gather together in my dining area then." She said, "Our first class session will begin immediately in an area of comfort." She left and floated inside, every one followed with no questions. Inside the cave, the cold feel felt strange on the bottom of his bare feet.

Once they were inside the dining area, Raizen looked around, still holding his arms close to himself he was surprised by the size of the place, and the dining room was well decorated. He watched as the witch prepared a fire, and the room began to warm comfortably. "Everyone, feel free to take a seat wherever you like so long as it's within hearing and speaking distance to the center." She flew to the middle of the long table and sat down; He followed and sat on the south side of her, using only his feet to move the chair to sit.

As they all sat down she then started her speech of the reason the school, and they were here. About how Shinigami’s rain of terror over them would end, and a new way would show it’s self. She spoke of missions that intrigued him and planed to visit the board soon. Then she started speak of what the true first meeting here was about, introductions. He looked around the room at the odd bunch and wondered what things would be like working with them. The wolfen boy next to Beryl spoke up, "I want to....... ask if you would officially be my Meister?" then sat down and said that his name was Heru, this made things interesting, an evil weapon?

Once the boy was quiet Raizen felt like he should say something and stood, looking out at the others, and smiled quite charmingly “My name is Raizen,” he said and bowed “and I hope to see much success with you all.” His arms loosening around him so they were just holding each other now.

Aries got a anxious expression as the scantily clad man questioned her own lack of attire. Thats totally not fair though, completely different.

"Th-th-thats not f-f-fair this is wool that grows out of my skin, I c-c-can't wear clothes anymore..." She whimpered being curled up and getting a nervous expression on her face. Apparently a flood of people came rushing into the school because soon there were many different people there. Aries began to get nervous, being on edge and shaken out of her sleepy mode meant she was on her timid mode, and all these people made her nervous. Beryl floated back in and herded Aries and everyone else into an open room with chairs and seats fitted around. They were told to make themselves comfortable, Aries would have at this point formed a bed of wool to sleep on but the ever looming threat of a public sheering, especially in front of all these people, was enough to keep her awake and frightened. Beryl gave an introductory speech which she was obliged to listen to with the conveniently placed electric sheerer pointed threateningly at her. After the first student made their introduction she caught a threatening glace and sinister grin from beryl that sent chills down her spine. Figuring out that she was being signaled to go next she stood up. Her posture and positioning said that she was nervous. Her knees bent inward and arms retracted into into her chest.

"Ahhh h-hello ummm m-m-my name is ummm A-Aries and Ummm I'm ahhh n-new and a w-witch and umm p-p-please be nice to me..." She just barely managed to stammer with a weak hearted effort. She was awfully intimidated having to stand up and speak in front of all these people any one of which could probably tear her to pieces. The fear and desperation was thick surrounding her and her submissiveness and intimidated spirit were blatantly obvious.

{OOC: wow topics gotten crowded all of the sudden, dunno if I'm able to keep track of responding to more than 2 or 3 peoples posts at a time so don't overwhelm me please. Also feel free to push Aries around or use her as you see fit, thats what shes there for.}

Will allowed himself to be led indoors. He even put on his pants (after Beatrix insisted it would be a good idea) and found himself more insulated against the cold. his shirt, however was still wet and so remained off. Quickly the group gathered around. There was a lot of ambient wavelength noise to will so that the whole area felt like it was buzzing and alive. He always enjoyed to company of other people, and his happy grin never left his face. Even R2 was welcomed indoors. Eventually the group quietened and Beryl anounced her decision to give a lecture. Will's face sagged as he realised they were just in for a boring meeting. How un-fantastical. Never-the-less a meet and greet was a good way of learning more about his new friends. He already thought of them as friends - whether or not they consented to that friendship. The feeling of curiosity abounded in the place, but the group's general murmur of wavelength quickly quietened. First of all Heru stood up,

"My Name is Heru."

It was a brief introduction. Will got the feeling that the boy was something of a second in command, if what he'd overheard whispered earlier was correct. A weapon to Beryl? He hadn't heard witches were interested in wielding weapons... but it made sense. Will tried to memorise the unique signature of the boy's wavelength, but it was rather vague with an entire group of people surrounding him. The next person to speak up was similarly brief,

“My name is Raizen, and I hope to see much success with you all.”

Raizen's wavelength was easier to distinguish than Heru's had been, so will judged him to be older, and more experienced, although that was probably entirely unfair. There was a long pause, and Will was just starting to think it might be his turn to speak when a small, feminine voice, quaking with fear spoke out. Even though parts of the introduction were barely audible, they still created small echoes in the large room, and were almost completely eclipsed by the crackling fire.

"Ahhh h-hello ummm m-m-my name is ummm A-Aries and Ummm I'm ahhh n-new and a w-witch and umm p-p-please be nice to me..."

Will grinned devilishly. What an emotional sounding person. He didn't like the bad emotions, they made no sense to him. Feeling the wavelength of her soul though was like watching someone who was yawning (not something Will had ever experienced personally) and quickly Will found himself yawning in response. He shook his head slightly to get the feeling of drowsiness out.

"IMMA KILL YOU!" Will barked out abruptly. His tone was aggressive, and angry, something he'd learned to mimic with Moriarty. Quickly his expression changed, however, and he grinned ghoulishly in Aries' direction, before standing. "Just kidding. I'm Will! You should speak up like this 'KKKKKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-EEEEEEEE!" Will's voice rebounded off the walls of the room, echoing grandly and only slowly dying out. After a pause Will returned to his introduction. "You can call me Jack if you like, it's an alias. I used to work for Moriarty, as his weapon, but he died because Shibusen came in and killed him. R2 is my sweet ride, I named him Ruben 2 after my best friend ever, Ruben. I have a mandolin, would you like to hear a song? ..." Will pulled out the mandolin in question, and it dripped soggily onto the floor, clearly out of commission.

Will was almost violently cheerful, which was his natural state of being. He forced his friendship on many people who simply didn't want to know about it, and was completely incapable of feeling negative emotions. In all he was just plain irritating, and since the death of Moriarty, the only person who could truly keep him in check, he had only become more-so. He couldn't be intimidated, or made upset, or threatened via his associates, friends, or family. Instead he only tended to listen to people who had gained his respect - a capricious and happy type of person, there was little that ever got the weapon down.

The shaman smiled pleasantly at his companion’s reply. It was good to see such a strong willed fellow who fought in spite of his handicap with such vigor. Gituku was a bit curious as to why…or where…Will procured the shattered remains of what seemingly was an instrument. As the shaman stared at the pieces intently, his mind finally put two and two together to realize it was Will making that wretched ‘music’ earlier. How ironic indeed. Before he could really react to the blind compatriot’s actions, two more arrivals showed up on sight the latter of the two being someone Gituku had not seen in quite some time. Beatrix, as Gituku was familiar with, introduced herself solely as B rather than anything else although she did admit to knowing both Will and the shaman himself.

"Let us all gather together in my dining area then. Our first class session will begin immediately in an area of comfort." the lead witch spoke out. Everyone present started to file back into the hidden doorway. Gituku trudged his way back out of the water and meandered up to Beatrix as they went inside, clapping a firm hand on her shoulder and giving a good-natured nod to her.

“It is good to see you again Miss Beatrix. It’s been quite some time since we last had contact. I trust you’ve been well?” Gituku inquired with a curious tone. The dimly lit hallway cast an ominous glow on Gituku’s tattooed features as they made their way into the dining hall. Not at all lavish like those spoiled under the reign of the evil Shinigami, but the stability and simplicity of the table and chairs echoed the forming of a sturdy foundation upon which these choice individuals would oppose the evil of Shinigami and his Shibu-scum. It would only be a matter of time before a true revolution would be at hand and those giant, dishonorable hands of Shinigami would be eradicated from this plane of existence.

Gituku took his seat near his familiar compatriot, Will, letting a rather proud grin spread across his features as he listened to Beryl’s words and her call for introductions. The first to go seemed to be the dog boy who whispered something rather incomprehensible to Gituku at the distance, but he did catch the crucial bit; ‘be my meister?’. After that, the same youth introduced himself as Heru. ‘Ah? One of Shinigami’s own has seen the truth and chosen to ally himself with us? How cruelly ironic’ Gituku mused with an inner chortle. Quickly the other of the two newest comers stood up and introduced himself as Raizen whom also added a few words of good fortune.

Across from Gituku was the wool-clad woman from earlier. She seemed terribly afraid of whatever device Beryl had pointed at her from the head of the table, but what struck Gituku as off was her timid demeanor. She was practically infantile in comparison to what the shaman was formerly acquainted with in the lineup of resistance against Shinigami. Not to be rude to any woman though, the tribal warrior offered a warm smile to her as she vaguely reminded the man of his own love who he was ceaselessly searching for; Zellie. Unfortunately, Will was not quite on par with Gituku’s honor and respect standards, but alas…

Gituku visibly cringed at the abrupt bark and hollering antics of his blind comrade. The teen’s voice echoed off the walls with this unpleasant ringing about it that, although Gituku respected Will, irritated him to no end on some occasions. The white haired boy started going off on another one of his pleasant rants of this and that nonsense and history he experienced. Gituku prodded Will with his spear’s blunt end before realizing the boy was too wrapped up in his own antics. The shaman stood up and firmly asserted his presence with a deep, rich ‘ahem’ and then placed a strong, firm, but not overbearing hand on the boy’s shoulder and coaxed him back into his seat.

“Will, my good comrade in arms. As much as I respect you; you should truly be more respectful when in the presence of a woman…or in this case several. Respect and honor my young friend. It will give you strength far beyond any trickery Shinigami could pull” Gituku stated firmly. His low, extremely deep voice carried through the room and he could surely have been heard by everyone even if Gituku had been situated at the opposite end of the table.

“Excuse me Lady Beryl…good sirs and madams; I seem to have a gotten a little off topic” Gituku spoke with a bow, “I am Gituku P’aqo, shamanistic warrior who has more than a few bones to pick with Shinigami and his Shibu-scum. The fiend’s minions have taken away that which my heart values most in this world and with the power of the spirits I seek to fell this tyrant. With camaraderie, chivalry, and strong effort; I know that we can be victorious in this collective goal.” Gituku’s dark black eyes turned to each one of those present and his lips were pursed in a thin lipped and serious, yet friendly and respectful smile. As Gituku sat down he added one small bit.

“If I might speak with you in private sometime, Lady Beryl, I’ve been on a long…quest…and I still require information to my love’s potential whereabouts”
I am the mastermind behind the dancing phenom, Gerard Corlin, and the master of shamanism, Gituku P'aqo

Beatrix watched those around her from behind her mask, nodding slightly as Beryl brought them to the meeting room, so that they could all introduce themselves. On the way, Gituku greeted her, by name, even though he'd have heard her choice of alias clearly enough. Beatrix gave a small nod, before she sat down near Will, but not right next to him, knowing better. She listened to Beryl's introduction of the school, her eyes narrowing slightly. So she's been obsessing over this for so much longer, and preparing for it, but she wasn't able to gather significant information on the late Moriarty? Not exactly a good sign, when you're in the presence of three of his companions, including his most favoured. She didn't say a word, however, simply watching on in silence, fingers steepled in front of the mask's face.

Beatrix listened to the other arrivals as they spoke, listening up to hear one ask the witch to be his meister. The next person gave a generic greeting, followed by what normal people would consider a charming smile. It just made Beatrix suspicious, all the more because she could tell he wasn't human. A timid witch stammered out her name, witchdom, and a request for kindness, which was almost immediately met by Will's hyperactive behavior, a sharp contrast. He tried, in his own way, to encourage the less powerful of the two present witches to be more extroverted, and Gituku gave him a short talking to, trying, likely in vain, to keep Will in line. Not even Beatrix could do that.

Beatrix remained silent as the others turned to her, waiting for her introduction, while she thought about each of them. Eventually, she rose to her feet, and cleared her throat. "I am B, an associate of the late Moriarty, whose group was something of a spiritual predecessor to this institution. I've come here for one reason, and it's not to pledge my undying loyalty to Beryl. I will help you all, but I want to make one thing perfectly clear," she said, pulling one of the throwing knives from her sleeve and twirling it a bit, before throwing it, the tip burying in the center of the table. "You shouldn't make the mistake of attacking anyone but those who are involved in this conflict, whether they be Shibusen, or kishin or witch hunters of an unaffiliated nature. We all have our reasons to despise that lot, but you shouldn't let yourselves fall to their level, attacking people just because of their spiritual nature, or any other differences. If you do, I won't hesitate to punish you as I see fit." Beatrix turned to Beryl, looking on at her silently for a moment, before adding on, "Especially you, since you're the leader of this group, and thus the one most responsible; besides, such attacks would only draw more attention to us."

Having said her say, Beatrix picked her knife back from the table, slid it into its slot, and sat down, observing the reactions each person had to her little speech. She particularly wondered how Gituku and Will would respond, since she held them in the highest esteem out of everyone here.

Beryl's response to Heru's request was without hesitation, immediately smiling broadly and giving a quick nod of her head. "Of course, Heru. I'm absolutely thrilled and humbly honored at your decision. I'd be more than happy to be your meister." Wicked gears were already spinning wildly in her head as she made plans, though she kept that to herself, instead turning her attention to the next introduction made.

Her smile calmed a bit with Raizen now announcing himself and wishing everyone good fortune in their mission. She nodded to him briefly in acknowledgment before turning to Aries, who had been the second to arrive at this little academy. She spun the tool in her hand on the table once, allowing the sheering end to stop pointed straight at her fellow witch. Her smile took on a slightly more sinister quality as she lifted it again, gazing expectantly to Aries for her introduction to the rest of the 'class'.

Once she'd finished nervously begging everyone to be nice to her, Beryl slid the threatening device from view and under the table. She imagined Aries was plenty terrified enough by the way she was holding herself. Chances of her falling asleep now SHOULD be slim until Beryl told her she could. With that thought she temporarily removed her attention from her sadistic attempts to keep Aries awake to focus on the rest of their group.

Any sense of composure and seriousness in the room was immediately shot to hell with Will's introduction, but then after his screwy behavior outside that had been expected. Beryl still couldn't help but bring a hand to her forehead and rub lightly with a quiet groan. This one would obviously be a handful that even she wondered if she could hold. She'd have to toss a lot of effort in his direction to feel out some sort of mental leash she may be able to figuratively wrap around his neck. He was so far off the deep end though that she wasn't even sure if he HAD any restraint that she could take advantage of!

Beryl was only just about to get up herself to tell the boy she didn't feel like hearing a song from a soggy, busted mandolin with a poor singer at the helm when Gituku took the scene and valiantly talked the offender back into his seat. The centi-witch was able to relax again at that, breathing out a sigh as she listened intently to what Gituku had to say. His words were like absolute music to her ears. She simply HAD to speak!

"Once again, welcome, Gituku. You are wise far beyond your years and it's refreshing to see one such as yourself opposing Shibusen so openly. I'd like everyone to take example from such confidence and intelligence. Gituku embodies the very beating heart of our newly formed organization," she spoke openly to everyone in the room before moving her attention back to simply address the shaman again. "You'll go very far here. Once everything is handled I'll be glad to speak to you in my quarters." She gave a final nod before looking expectantly to the only member who had yet to introduce themselves.

Much to her dismay, the mysterious 'B' seemed to be the rebellious teen of the group, thinking she could step in and take charge when she'd had no part in creating this growing empire. Her threats made Beryl's eyes narrow to viscous slits. Any semblance of the camaraderie that Beryl was attempting to instill within this group could have very well been blown out of the water with those words that B had used so carelessly.

"There will be no punishing of any member unless I deem it expressly necessary," Beryl announced solidly with a glare in the woman's direction. She had no interest in being undermined on the very first day of her school's establishment. The air around her had shifted from warm and friendly to cold and distant. "Any violent action taken against anyone without my consent will be seen as an act of aggression and will be dealt with as such. I suggest you check your attitude at the door when next you speak... B... and learn to get along. A good start would be removing that mask and giving your full name to those that may not have heard."

Heru smiled brightly at her answer, a partner finally. He just about bounced out of his seat at the news. For now he said nothing just stayed silent listening to everyone introductions. Everyone seemed pretty normal to him..... but the last person. B is what he thought he heard. She scared him and the knife in the middle of the table didn't help. At that he bared his fangs and stood up not wanting to start anything but if need be he needed to be ready to deffend himself and Beryl if need be.

As she sat back down so did Heru. The wolf watched B's moves closely and made a soft almost purr leaning towards his new partner watching everyone around the table.

"I promise to behave myself..." He fidgeted in his chair in the mood for a fight now. After listening to everyone he knew how easy it was to see the DWMA as an enemy. He would follow his partner where ever she would lead, Shinigami would have no chance against this new school. The wolf stretched out in his chair trying to get comfortable ears perked and flicking slightly listening to everyone around the room. How strange it was to be liveing here with all the witches then where he should have been, at the DWMA.

This felt like home though. He had a room a place to put this things and food. All he had to do was follow his new partner.... That was very easy. Pack mentality helped too. His foot claws scratching against the ground under him nervously, he lifted his head and sniffed the air taking in everyone's scents before turning his head back to B waiting to see what the woman would do. Would she take her mask off and state her full name? or was she going to start something she couldn't finish....
