OOC: SO I guess the tornado is like this: =, instead of like this: ||. As planned, Lukas' quick thinking hit the mark effectively, as he pinned down the Mouse Woman with his Soul Purge technique. She was trembling as his partner's soul wavelength traveled her body, burning her insides. She started screaming in pain, and for an instant, Sven felt sympathy for the corrupted soul. After he finished, Lukas took off his hand of her chest, and she tried to stand up, unsuccessfully. She collapsed on the floor due top the pain. Sven had already transformed his arm and put it on her neck, cutting off a bit of her air. Now you will talk, scum. You will tell us everything about those two other friends of yours. And then... your soul will be put to better use! At first he had thought that talking to her would instill fear, but apparently it was wrong. What... what are you doing?! There is no way someone is going to accept this type of deal. This is not how you will get information out of her! Let me handle this, I am a much better negotiator than y... Listening to Lukas' complaint, Sven noticed a moment to late that the Kishin Egg had slammed her hand on to the bark of the large tree behind her and that she had rolled out of danger. Suddenly, the tree's base started to transform into paper, and like a wave, the whole tree started to transform into paper planes. They started spiraling into a horizontal tornado, where Sven could clearly see that the middle had no planes in it; only the Kishin Egg was there, seemingly wanting to never sustain the same agony it just went through. The storm formed, and raced angrily towards the Shibusen pair. What the...? Lukas had already made his move, dashing in direction of the storm, leaving Sven behind. The Demon Weapon knew that as a pair, they would have a much better chance of countering the attack, but it seemed his partner had a plan to finish this. He jumped inside the tornado horizontally, and extended both his arms so that each off his hand could touch either side of the storm. What is he doing? His hands are going to be cut off! Wait, what is this... As he looked closer, he saw that electricity was coming out of Lukas' hands and that it was effectively traveling between the hundreds of paper planes. He's trying to disrupt it with his own soul wavelength! Then that must mean he wants me to finish her off! Hmm, that idiot... Did not even bother to consult me. Sven smiled. He transformed his right arm into a blade again, and charged into storm. He trusted Lukas to cancel the storm with his Soul Purge and jumped above him, delivering a slash towards the Kishin, hoping the storm would disrupt and that the blow would be decisive. |

The business woman wobbled unsteadily on her feet; her eyes were unfocussed and her knees kept almost buckling, making the kishin egg almost fall to the ground. Her body was sore and pained, but her soul was strong, and each second that passed only increased her anger, fury and blood lust. The pages of loose leaf paper she controlled were fuelled by her passions, and as she became more emotional the pages became more rigid and sharp. The tornado had an unmoving base, with a foot-wide circle that was centred on the hand-shaped burn mark on her chest. The rest of the twister was prone to minor deviation, with the wider parts of it changing place and wobbling about like a spinning top that was about to fall over. It was into this sharp, unstable whirling wind that the brown haired boy leaped into. Whether he was skilled or just foolhardy was impossible to tell, but his eyes spoke of a confidence in his actions that was not to be doubted. Halfway into the twister the boy shoved his hands into the scything circle of paper, letting his hands get heavily lacerated by the almost blade-sharp edges of the paper. Despite this ultra-paper cutting experience the boy compressed and rebounded his wavelength in one long, drawn out experience. It was like someone emptying a balloon of its air as the boy swirled through the air, giving up his energy in the hope to disable to woman’s. As the paper cut into his flesh, he too cut into the potency of the paper. The paper twister slowed down marginally from hurricane-like speeds to just the speed of a gale, reducing the power of paper cut from deep, thin cuts to mundane level of thin, shallow cuts that one might normally expect. Another second more and the paper slowed down enough so it was just fluttering about at a relaxed pace, and rather than being cut by the paper, Lukas was able to bat away the pieces of paper he came into contact with. Sven, it seemed, had luckily waited for the right moment to jump in. When the tornado had slowed down enough to a safe speed the tall man ran and jumped through the tornado, not trying to go through the middle like his meister, but right through the top of it. His chest and arms ploughed a path through the paper, before with a certain fatal slash chopped down into the business woman’s head. Before the knife-hand could finish the attack, the woman simply began to crumple like a piece of paper in the fire. In just a short period of time, she had crumpled down to nothing, leaving just her soul behind. It had a malign aura about it that made the skin of the arms raise in goosebumps. ![]() |

IC: Lukas hands were being slashed by the paper planes, but the young lad did not give up. He used his Soul Purge techinque in order for the storm to be disabled. The Meister was hoping that Sven, his Demon Weapon partner, would understand his plan and finish the Kishin's Egg. Although he was not able to totally disrupt the flow of the tornado, he was able to slow it down considerably. Sven, who seemed to have understood the battle plan, jumped over him. Lukas was impress Sven was handling this battle, as his physical prowess was better than his own. The Demon Weapon trasnformed his right arm into a blade, and, with a swift movement of his arm, went for the head of the woman. Even though he couldn't see quite clearly, he knew the storm was finally over. He fell down, and as he looked up, he saw the red, corrupted soul of the Mouse Woman floating in mid-air, seemingly thinking them for freeing it of its evil destiny. Lukas got up, feeling a little wobbly from using his Soul Purge twice. He could barely stand up, but he knew that it wasn't the time to be weak. He took out a weird watch with Lord Death's comical head on it; it was 1:45 PM. Good, that gives us... well, me, time to recover before heading out to meet that Doctor Blight. I hope the Old Port of Montreal isn't far from here. We'll eat something and relax a bit before going to the rendez-vous point... No, what am I saying? That woman ate two innocent souls in front of me! I can't let that happen again! We taking something to eat and we are heading straight at the meeting point. I'll use my Soul Perception to uncover the identity of Dr. Blight. That's when he remembered about the injured hippie man that he left outside the forest of the park. He made a sign with his hand to tell Sven to follow him, and he walked as fast as he could, not wanting to waste any precious time. Lukas used the school's first aid kit to disinfect and bandage the man's wound. He then found a public payphone and called the emergencies. I hope he'll be alright... They left the man there, knowing the emergencies would come as fast as they could. While both Shibusen students were walking towards an "all you can eat" buffet, Lukas looked at Sven, who seemed to be less injured than himself. Hey Sven. Do you have any plans for that Dr. Blight? I was thinking of eating here fast, and going to the rendez-vous point about twenty minutes before the meeting was scheduled. Like this, I could scan for the evil soul and we could take him on by surprise. |

Sven was impressed by Lukas. His Meister partner had created an amazing opening for him, and he was not going to miss it. The young Demon Weapon leaped in the tornado, but with much more strength and speed than Lukas. As he jumped, he located the Mouse Woman, weak from Lukas' previous attack. He transformed his right arm, and went for her head as swiftly as possible. Next thing he knew, the woman's whole body was transforming into multiple pieces of paper. They started flying away, disappearing with the wind, revealing a red corrupted soul. Sven was satisfied, after all, he would need that corrupted soul in order to become a Death Scythe. He took the soul by the tail, placed it over his head, put his face upwards, opened his mouth and the soul enter his mouth. He chewed slowly, so that he could savor it while it lasted. Sven then turned around and saw his partner getting up. He seemed wobbly, and Sven could only think that using Soul Purge too much could make Lukas lose most of his stamina. He saw his partner take out one of the many silly-looking items the school provided them and looking at it with concern. It was a watch. Oh yeah it's true, there is this meeting at 3:00 PM. What time is it... Oh, 1:45 PM. Not bad. We'll go eat and find out where the rendez-vous point is. Lukas seemed to be in deep thought. Sven wondered what he was thinking about. Suddenly, his Meister partner got up, and, wobbling the whole way, walked quickly out of the small forest. He took out the first aid kit, and bandaged the hippie guy from earlier. He then got up and, using the payphone, he called the emergencies, and made a sign for them to leave. They then started walking towards an "all you can eat" buffet. This guy... Such a kind heart... It better not slow him down! Now we have to resolve the matter of those two other Kishin Egg. What if they weren't kishin egg? You never know... Anywho, I'll talk to Lukas about th... Hey Sven. Do you have any plans for that Dr. Blight? I was thinking of eating here fast, and going to the rendez-vous point about twenty minutes before the meeting was scheduled. Like this, I could scan for the evil soul and we could take him on by surprise. Yea, sure. That's sounds like a plan. __________________________________________________ They finsihed eating, and took a bus towards the Old Port of Montreal. Sven felt like this time, things were going to be more exciting for him. |

The Old Port stretched languidly out over a few kilometres of river-side stores, small parks, movie theatres and museums. It was a busy place, with thousands of pedestrians window shopping, painting, chatting, relaxing and exercising. Where ever one looked people seemed to be enjoying themselves despite the frigid winds and icy weather. Cafes and coffee stores seemed to dominate the landscape, with almost every second store being one. Each cafe was an island of warmth in the winter chill, with steam visibly rising in great swathes from each cup or mug. Each patron was quickly warmed by their brew, returning the colour to their skin and the flush to their skin. There were contemplative silences in some of the cafes as their customers quietly reflected on the joys of being warm and safe, while in other business their clientele were boisterous and happy. The parks were quiet for the most part, with only a few die hard joggers traipsing through the mounds of ice on their daily runs. Snowmen of vastly different sizes and qualities dotted the parks and street corners like silent guards, their twig-arms and pebble-eyes looking out across the animate civilisation around them. The river swirled slowly downstream, milling about the old wooden jetties that stretched over the ice-cold water. One or two small boats lay docked in the middle of the river, but for the most part the water-road seemed corpse-like.

After eating the most food his stomach could possibly take, Lukas started drinking some hot chocolate while looking at two pieces of paper. The first one, which was small, had the place and time of two meeting points; these two people seemed to either be allies of the Mouse Woman (which both Lukas and Sven were totally sure of) or they were humans involved in this whole crisis. The second piece of paper was actually big, covering most of the dining table. It was a very detailed map of Montreal, provided by Shibusen. This map had magical properties: a small light was shining near the south of the city. It represented him and Sven's current location. As he looked at it carefully, Lukas finally saw their destination. The Old Port of Montreal was in the east side of the city, which was actually situated in an island (that was still connected to the rest of the country by bridges and the metro). Lukas looked at his watch; it was already 2:15 PM. Now we have to be extremely careful when we drop in the conversation. I'll do the talking since Sven is the most suspicious out of us. Alright! Sven, here is the plan: right here I have the location of our targets, so for Doctor Blight, we'll go to the meeting point at 3:00 PM. You will be at a safe distance from me and act as if you do not know me at all. When Dr. Blight appears, you should hide somewhere behind him, at a safe distance. I'll use my Soul Perception to determine if he is a kishin egg or a human being. We'll see what this gives us, and if he ends up being a corrupted soul, you will have to attack him quickly and swiftly. As he was giving out his plan, Lukas was wondering about Dr. Blight. What did he look like? Was he really a kishin egg? And if so, did he disguise himself as a doctor in order... to feed? Lukas was trying to figure this out, when the waitress came to get the payment. This time, Lukas paid for the meal and both Shibusen students left the place. They took a special bus that went all the way to the Old Port. It would take about thirty minutes to get there. Lukas looked outside the bus window and observed the scenery as it flashed out quickly in front of him. It was all white, as snow was everywhere in this city. Snowmen were also in front of almost all the front yard of the houses. He was not expecting so much imagination, as they came in all sizes and shapes. This triggered something in Lukas. These children... They are like me. They live a happy life, but these kishin eggs are threatening their lives and happiness. I cannot let that happen. The bus stopped. Lukas got up, even more determined than ever to stop those two kishin eggs form killing even more people. He looked on at the port with his deep blue eyes. A fiery passion could be see in his eyes. The will to act in order to protect... It was burning deep inside him. Edited by Luffy1045, Mar 16 2010, 07:51 PM.

Although he did not think this was the best moment to do so, Sven went along with Lukas' plan and they ate in an "all-you-can-eat" buffet. He looked at his Meister partner as he looked at two things: the small note indicating the time and location of two important people that the woman Kishin Egg was to meet, and the a detailed map of Montreal with some kind of magical property. It seemed that it could pinpoint the location of its user by showing a small glowing light. Lukas was drinking hot chocolate, while Sven had a strawberry lollipop. After some time, Lukas had let out a small sigh of satisfaction, something that Sven knew all too well. It seemed his partner had finally found the location of their second target, which was Doctor Blight. Sven looked at his own watch: it was 2:15 PM. Time seemed to go quickly, and they needed it. Alright, but if he can get out of the way before I attack him, you'll have to be ready to strike too. Now, I'll ask for a bus schedule and we'll go right away. As Sven went out of the restaurant, Lukas paid the bill and followed him. Like he said, he asked some of the people around what bus they should take to go to the Old Port, at what time it was coming and how much time it was going to take to get to their destination. As he gathered the answers, he seemed satisfied: they had told him what bus, it was coming at 2:25 PM and it would take approximately 30 minutes to get there. They borded the bus and off they went. ____________________________________________________________________ As the ride continued, Sven looked at Lukas. He did not seem as cheerful as usual, and he could sense some sort of anger emanating from him. That lady... she was kind of vicious for a kishin egg. Makes me wonder what happens about that Doctor Bligh were meeting and Hoggish Greedly... Hoggish Greedly... That name makes me sick, and makes me think that he is going to be the most difficult out of all of them. Ah! Here we are. They had arrived at the Old Port. Although it was a large place, somehow Sven knew that it was near the water that the Doctor would appear. It's the most secret way to do some kind of exchange and to be out of other people's sight. He looked at the clock. 2:58 PM. OK Lukas! Let's hurry up! Both youngsters went getting nearer to the boats, and Sven decided that Lukas should continue on, as the plan was to leave Lukas do the talking. Sven looked at his watch one last time: 3:00 PM. It's showtime! |

Time seemed to pass slowly at the Old Port, as if each second was lingering so the passer bys could enjoy it. But time was impossible stop, and all too soon the large, ancient clock-tower began to toll the third hour of the afternoon. Donnnnn… Donnnnn… Donnnnn…. ”Yahoooooo!” Cried the eccentrically dressed doctor. She was poised at the very pinnacle of the clock tower, with her arms spread high above her head. She had a carrot in each hand, and a large nose that could be confused for the orange vegetable. Her hair was wild ball of red fuzz that made it look like she was impersonating Albert Einstein, and her clothing consisted of a business shirt and stripy blue pajama pants. The doctor cried again. ”Yahoo! Doctor Blight is here! Let the reaping begin~!” And with that, the woman hurled down the two carrots she was holding. By now a small crowd had gathered nearby to watch the exploits, and a few concerned citizens were telling her ‘not to jump,’ while others were making more lewd suggestions towards her. One of the carrots crashed into the snow of the park, whilst the other fell harmlessly onto the roof of a building. The snow near the first carrot began to turn orange. It spread slowly at first, but then with an explosion of speed the orange-coloured snow contaminated the entire park. All of the snow within the park was the unnatural carrot-orange, including the snow men within it. The steadily growing crowd ‘ooh’d’ and ‘aaah’d’ at this show of magic. They had seen plenty of buskers, mime and street performers but by far this new ‘Doctor’ definitely seemed to have the most impressive tricks. One of two people threw out coins on the road for her, while many others clapped politely. And then screamed. The orange snowmen had begun to move, not with the jerky motions of a puppet or robot, but with the fluid movements only possible for something truly alive. The crowd finally realised that the Doctor was not a street performer, but something far worse. The snowmen lurched forwards, their twiggy arms scrabbling to grab a hold of any human in their vicinity. Some were small and clumsy, while the larger ones seemed quicker, smarter and mobile flexible.

The time was approaching very slowly, as if every second was weighing on this important meeting. Lukas Schneider, the Shibusen Meister, was looking around. Nothing or no one seemed to come this way. He looked at Sven's location; he didn't seem to have noticed anything. He looked at his watch: there was one minute left before the meeting was intended to start. 45 seconds... What is that Doctor Blight doing? Wasn't he supposed to come here? 30 seconds... Where is he... Life are at stakes, just as much for me as for him! 15 seconds... You have got to be kidding me. Kishin Eggs are really unorganized!!! I'm more organized than them, and they are the ones who are supposed to be cunning in some sorts! 5 seconds... That's it I'm going to look for that bast- "Yahoooooo!" Lukas turned to face the scream he had just heard. Could it be that it was the Kishin's egg they were looking for? It seemed to the young Meister that this corrupted soul did not want to be stealthy, as he screamed his heart out. Wait... On closer inspection... He's not a he?! He's a she! Doctor Blight is a woman!! Could it be... that Hoggish Greedly is also a woman? In any case, we have to talk to her... Lukas went to the place where Sven was hiding, and told him to come with him, as he is concerned by that attitude of the Kishin's Egg. They approached to her location, when she decided that she needed to get higher, and thus she was now at the highest point of the main clock tower. Lukas looked at her with a puzzled look. What's with her? It's like she was five years old... She is simply very different from the Mouse Woman... That's when she screamed again... "Yahoo! Doctor Blight is here! Let the reaping begin~!" She threw with force two carrots without aiming specifically at anything; one of the carrots crashed into the snow of the Old Port's park and the other landed on top of the roof. As she was screaming her heart out, many civilians had now gathered, looking at Doctor Blight in with mixed feelings. Lukas looked at them; some were concerned and didn't want her to jump to kill herself, while others seemed to think that she wasn't worth their time. Lukas thought she was just a crazy Kishin Egg and was about to chase herm when he noticed that the snow of the park the first carrot landed into started to turn orange. At first, it spread at a turtle's pace, but suddenly it accelerated violently. In matter of minutes, most of the park's snow was now orange, even the snowmen that the kids had built. Lukas was surprised: was this some kind of magic show? He thought that maybe this Kishin Egg was just a misguided person, but soon he started doubting it. The way people gathered and marvelled at the trick Doctor Blight had just pulled off was very suspicious. Some people started throwing change at her, while others clapped for the seemingly magnificient feat. However, people to scream, and it seemed to come from the park. Lukas dashed in that direction, approached the snow and soon realized that Doctor Blight was just like other Kishin Eggs. The now orange snowmen were now moving, with movements that could only describe them as alive. There were all sorts of snowmen: they were some that were smaller and clumsy, while the other were bigger, faster and more cunning than a snowman should be. Lukas did not hesitate. Sven, transform now!! Sven transformed into his black katana form, and Lukas grabbed him. The young Meister swinged his partner in a quick series of fluid motion, sending multiple air slashes to the closest snowmen. One snowman was about to grab a woman with her baby. Another had a young man already in his arms and about to kill him. Lukas would not have the time to save both of them, and they were a bit to far to use their air slashing technique, so he threw with great force Sven at the snowman holding the young man. He then dashed towards towards the snowman attacking the mother and child. He delivered a powerful kick in the snowy head, destroying it in the process. He looked around. Most people had already escaped, but there still was a considerate amount of civilians in the vicinity of the insane snowmen. Lukas ran at Sven's sword transformation and looked at Doctor Blight. If I kill her, than this whole nonsense should end... Alright!! The carrot-nosed Kishin Egg was still on top of the roof, seemingly enjoying the fear that the snowmen were instilling. Lukas wanted to attack her, but he couldn't leave the other civilians in trouble. He then started shouting at Doctor Blight. Why are you still up there? Are you scared? Come and get me if you can!!! |

Sven was still in hiding as the time passed on. Sven wasn't particularly worried for this Kishin's Egg, thinking that the real problem would be Hoggish Greedly. He felt that this name was synonym of disaster, and that they were to be very careful. However, this mission was given to him and his Meister partner, Lukas Schneider, by Shibusen, and he respected that. As time passed slowly, but surely, Sven looked at Lukas from his hiding. He seemed a bit tense, something he didn't see often. This mission was surely no different than the first ones they took, but it seemed that the bad impression the Mouse Woman left off wasn't all so great for Lukas, and he was scared that something like that would happen again. Sven looked at his watch: time was up, but instead of seeing someone arrive discretely, he heard a large cry. "Yahoooooo!" Sven turned around, only to see an eccentic woman dressed in a Halloween-doctor fashion. What stood out was her orange, pointy nose, which reminded him of a carrot. Sven knew right away that she was the Kishin Egg Doctor Blight, and that they were going to stop her. However, people started gathering and looking towards the devilish doctor as she spun around, making funny faces. As Sven looked in astonishement, Lukas had come next to him and had ask him to come with him. Sven did so, and both students got closer to the Egg's location. "Yahoo! Doctor Blight is here! Let the reaping begin~!" That can't be good. She's just gonna go crazy on those innocent people... Sven watched carefuly her actions as she threw two carrots. One of them landed in the ground and soon, a sea of orange invaded the ground and snowmen of the park. Although Sven knew that this was part of her plan to get more innocent souls, even he couldn't deny that he was impressed by all this. It was like some kind of unreal magic show where everything would blow your mind away. However, the horror was about to start. All the snowmen in the park started to move, and others were created. They started attacking civilians. Lukas told Sven to transform, and he did so into his full weapon form. Lukas wielded Sven skillfully, being able to drive off most of the snowmen and save the civilians. However, not everything was over. As long as that weird doctor is around, there will always be more crazy wavelength snowmen... We have to finish her off first!! It seemed that Lukas had felt what Sven said. He called out the corrupted soul to come and get him. If they would fight just them against Doctor Blight, the civilians might be spared. they couldn't afford any more deaths. Alright Lukas, here we go... |
