The mime's eyes widened as he saw the kid running at him, bleeding, grinning, and with a glowing hand out-stretched like it was some kind of weapon. He barely had time to raise his arm before the sonic purge hit, sending echoes of noise reverberating painfully through his body. His vision seemed to flash for a second or two, and he was tossed ungraciously from the rooftop by the blast. Quickly coming back to his senses, the corrupted soul mimed diving into a pool, and the road below swallowed him up as water would. Soon he 'swam' to the surface before climbing out. He mimed taking off a pair of flippers, before whipping out a mime machine gun which he aimed and fired at the rooftop (although he was unable to see the student any longer). The bullets quickly ran out and he tossed the gun aside. The mime pulled out what was probably a rocket launcher, and with only a smirk of warning, loosed a rocket, again, at the crumbling rooftop. There was a surprising amount of recoil from the weapon, though, and the mime dropped to his knees with the pain, as the recoil only aggravated whatever wound the Student had given him. Readying a mime sword, the mime 'strapped on' a 'jetpack' and flew himself up to hover above the building, trying to see if he had killed his foe. He wasn't however, particularly skilled with the jetpack, and seemed to have some trouble controlling it. |

Nocturne's eyes glimmered with triumph. While his Sonic Purge didn't kill the mime, it did do damage plus the fall would make sure the mime didn't do far. Leaning over the edge of the building to see the mime fall, a look of annoyance and slight disappointment flashed acrossed his face as the mime dived into the road like water. Quickly turning away and rushing towards the stairs after grabbing the Deathboard, the mime just missed seeing him on the roof. By the time the mime started firing, Nocturne was already rushing down the stairs. "What the?" Nocturne said upon hearing the bullets of the machine gun meet the building. Realising that a straight out attack on the mime would be deadly, Nocturne planned a way to attack without being shot at. By the time Nocturne had reached the door on the bottom floor the mime had already fired the rocket and was taking off on with his jetpack. While the mime searched for any sign of his death, Nocturne quickly flew up in the air behind the mime, hoping for an Ambush as he prepared another Sonic Purge, this time aiming for the mime's head. |

The mime swayed too and fro in his unstable jet pack with a comically worried face, while Iah sneaked up behind him. With movements akin to the head of a striking snake, the mime’s intentions were difficult to gauge. Suddenly the corrupted soul seemed to realise Iah was no where to be seen on the rooftop. Unsteadily it tried to spin in a circle to find the boy, only to realise his foe was already upon him. Iah’s attack connected with the mime’s face, and the corrupted soul was sent sailing down to smack into the pavement. Cracks radiated out from his point of landing, and the creature lay there, stunned, far below Iah, and out of the fight for the moment. After a few seconds though it seemed to shake off the damage, performing a kip-up to get swiftly to its feet, removing a mime helmet of some variety and shaking its head violently from side to side. The mime was unsteady, weaving occasionally right and left, but seeming to get itself back under control, the being flourished a mime sword, at the ready to fend off attacks, like a true showman. While this was going on a small crowd had started to gather. Despite the obvious danger of being so close to such a fight, the naturally curious had gathered to watch the ‘show’ at the mime being thrown down from the sky they had gasped, at his revival they had oooh’d and with his flourish they ahhhh’d. They seemed to be enthralled by what was going on, and several had already thrown out coins in appreciation for the new and risqué busking. It seemed that the mime was enjoying the attention, and the more reaction he got from the audience, the more he would start to play to them, showing off a few flashy moves, and glaring dangerously at Iah like some sort of determined hero, the main character for a dramatic screen play. |
