Hello, This seems like little covered feature , but recently I got to try out the recent Playanywhere titles on XB1 and must say it's a pleasant, and surprisingly great, feature. I know many people have reservations about UWP (and of course some paranoia about mMS), but with Recore, Forza Horizon 3 and especially Gears 4, the games run remarkably well. A standout feature is of course the cross play. I only had to buy the game once, and i can play on my PC while my brother plays with me on the XB. While playing Forza and Gears4 with friends online, I could tell no difference if people were on PC or XB as the experience was seamless. I know there have been cross play games before, but there was something special about having my same friends available across both platforms, easy to send messages across with Xbox Live, having my game transfer automatically between pc and xbox, and the absolute best feature was how well party chat ran. No guess work, no jumping through hurdles, party chat just ran as I got an invite, just like on XB1, to join a party while playing on my PC. The DVR feature is also well done on PC and i can share my clips with my friends on XB1, and vice versa. I hope to see more titles utilize this feature, the buy once is great, but the cross play and party chat is really the best thing going for it. Has anyone else been able to try on Playanywhere, and what are your thoughts? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
