Yeah db - I'm sure he's been working REALLY hard to find the "other" killer. His statement was heartfelt and sincere? Yeah, only because he got the book thrown at him. He will be getting everything that he so richly deserves. Lock him up and lose the key. Totally agreed. He was really looking hard for those killers on the golf courses in FL.

I'm not defending O.J., but 60 year old first time offenders would normally get probation in this case..

We were living in NY at the time......general consensis....and my feelings too....were that claude was a very clever.....very wealthy......very lucky.....man who had tried to kill his wife and had gotten away with it.

Interesting that OJs crime elicits a more visceral response. You have to wonder why.

After the "crime" and the acquittal, Von Bulow left the country and has kept a very, very, low profile. OJ might have fared better in the court of public opinion if he had done the same. One is a cultured gentleman.....who might also be an attempted murderer, the other is an arrogant jerk, who might also be a murderer. OJ was his own worst enemy.
