When I was living in Florida 80-84 you could drink and drive.. As long as the can (16 oz.) was in this little brown bag (which they had at the liqour store counters) it was legal.. You couldnt be drunk, but you could drink while driving..I took advantage of the rule all the time..I don't know if the same rule applied while flying airplanes in Florida, but I acted like it did..
