A good laugh sure makes me feel better. :gringa:

Thanks for all the suggestions - going to try the gym for a few minutes this morning and hoping that will help.

Be careful Daisy, exercise isn't always the best idea when you are sick. If you have any chamomile try throwing a handful into boiling water and breathing the steam.

Thanks db - but I don't have any "nose" issue - no stuffiness, no sore throat - I just feel like someone beat me up a week ago and I still ache all over and have no energy.

The worst thing seems to be that I'm freezing all the time - to the point of wearing layers of clothes and then hot...........and I can't peel off the layers of clothes fast enough and then cold again........ HOWEVER it is NOTHING like it was a week ago.

It's very frustrating and I've had enough already.

BTW: have lost 20 lbs to date and have 10 more to go. I'm wearing a size smaller in everything - jeans and cute long sleeve tops that I haven't been able to wear for 2 years.

Rue - take care of yourself. I'm on day 8 of the flu and still just not QUITE right. Can't put my finger on it but it seems to be malaise.

Welcome back DL,. and thanks I will and have been trying to take care of self. It is hard to do when U are the one who takes care of everything. ( the grand came back last night) No one here to wait on me or bring me meds or food or drinks T_T .. I almost cut my damn finger off Sunday.. bout passed out from the shock of it.. combined with this flu feeling I am miserable.

I have been using Dr Bonners magical soaps .. the eucalyptus and peppermint brand.. U can soak a towel with them and they help u breath u can also add this to the shower and breath it in as u wash up... love this soap, all natural, no chemicals of any kind.. Hope u feel better soon DL...and I still think wing wagon is a better atmosphere ;)(old)

It's horrible to be sick over the holidays. I hope you both get to feeling better very soon...

Ahhh, so the devil spawn is back, Rue.... just when you finally figured out how to survive without her, here she is... well, I am happy for you. Too bad you are so sick and stop trying to do self-amputation.... it's been a while since I tried it. I was in the kitchen in Pine Jct with 2 of my boys. One almost passed out from all the blood. Not only did I have to deal with the problem, I had to worry about him falling over and killing himself. Had to get him a cold cloth for his forehead ROFL

That's funny gringa!

When my son was 2 years old, he had to be stitched up and the nurse caught hubby just as he was about to faint.

I tell ya, these males..........................just can't handle it.
