Somebody help me with this..... when Congress approved the bail-out, the figure was at $800 billion...... so, is it really a blank check?

It's out of frickin' control.

Considering the complete lack of oversight I'd say, yeah. Blank check- out of control. The looting continues.

well what will really suck is that the bailout $$ will go to pay off the high roller CEO's and their families....

The news just stated that about 1/3 will actually go into the company.. I hope they are full of it and have bad intell..

I think that is what I have been bitching about for a couple of weeks, I don't think the intel is wrong. But, for some reason some of the people here think we HAVE to pay them these huge bonuses. What the peps don't get, it that the companies are bankrupt... and the bail-out money is lining their frickin' pockets.

Say good-bye to things as you know them. Make way for the new. I am not saying it will be all bad, but it certainly is gonna be a change - without or without Obama.... you all wanted change, you got it.

I am sure there will be a number of out of work CEO's in the market for those, MM. Good luck.

I would look into electric Maseratis, if I were you.

No I am serious.. we have a client that wants to build an electric Lambo... we have the body manufacturer located in CA.. BandB, and there are several home built ones out there.. it can achieve 140 mph and go for about 60 hours at that speed before recharge... heck maybe I'll build one for meself...

there are also Ferrari kit cars as well as a horde of other exotics..

Oh, I believe you, it's just that, IMO, the Maserati is a very classy car. I think it would appeal to the elite.

Catering to the upper crust is always a winning gambit. They'll always land on their feet (and in their Lamborghini or Maserati{gotta go with you Gringa- I like the Maserati also. Understated and elegant})
