Sorry, Daisy.. I was referring to the die hard OB haters.. that do not see what good may come out of this. Who refuse to look past their Tunnel Vision... I personally hope for the best but prepare for the worst in every situation I am in. I am not a very optimistic person. But I try really hard to look at the good side of things before I decide it isn't worth my time or energy. I love the fact we as people can say what we like and voice our views ... I am not trying to change any ones mind about OB.. It just strikes me funny that he has not even been sworn in yet and already the Bashing about the way he is going to " run' things is dominating this board and others. |

I've always prided myself in not being a sore loser. It was easy this time though because McCain wasn't my choice either. I will support whomever takes on a crappy job like The President of the US - what a thankless job. |

Exactly, the President has to go through channels, but with a Democratic congress he is sitting in a position of great power right now, just like Bush had for 6 years. Let's see how that goes..... The Cons thought it was wonderful when they were on that side of the fence. Many of us predicted this power shift and wondered out loud if it was such a good thing. And further predicted that The Cons would be screaming bloody murder, even though they laughed at the rest of us when we were complaining. I will complain no matter who is there if they are fucking up the entire country (and world), getting us into unfounded wars ofr money and power, instilling fear in the American people and feeding off of that fear. Yes, you will hear me. I blame the voters for the majority of this mess. |

http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/is_it_true_john_mccain_voted_with.html “However, McCain's support of President Bush's position has been as low as 77 percent (in 2005), and his support for his party's position has been as low as 67 percent (2001).” “And so . . . So to sum up, McCain has indeed voted to support the unpopular Bush 95 percent of the time most recently, but less so in earlier years. And Obama has voted pretty close to 100 percent in line with fellow Democrats during his brief Senate career.” |
