As if it matters... Lessee... Paul won with 58.77% of the vote... That represents about 206,812 votes (at this counting, with 119 of 120 counties reporting). On the Democrat side, Jack Conway won with 43.91% of the vote...That represents about 228,531 votes, (at the moment). The TOTAL number of votes cast by Republicans for all candidates was 351,927; the TOTAL number of votes cast by Democrats for all candidates was 520,412. http://results.enr.clarityelections.com/KY/15261/25616/en/summary.html Sooooo, if all the Republicans & Teabaggers unite behind Rand Paul there is approximately 352,000 votes against 520,000 against the united Democrats... Uh-huh... Yep, let us know how good that tea is in November... ----- Oh, and did we mention that in the PA race to fill Murtha's seat, Critz, the Democrat, had 53 percent of the vote compared with nearly 45 percent for Burns, the Republican, with 70 percent of precincts reporting, dealing an early blow to GOP hopes of taking control of Congress this fall.
