Government Reporting By Banks

I would bet a thousand dollars that the government uses the information for two purposes: 1) to force banks to lend to high risk areas 2) to leverage compliance on banks and when they find a foul they extort millions or concessions from the banks.

Just my guess...but then again ...looking at the housing mess we are in, it appears I might be right again.

I always have trouble to chose only one. Back when Americans knew the word, it said "Caucasian".

So, what are you saying, RT? Groups that are not "White" are High Risk? That right there is a racist statement. But, you aren't racist, right?

The form is used to track lending practices across the US, hopefully to make sure that people of all races are given a change to borrow and are not being discriminated against.
