As if all of this is his fault - what goes up, what goes down - (can't find the roll roll smilie thingy) IF ONLY our president has/had as much power as you try to give him....................................
Huh? I take it you forgot how to read?
Oh, I can read. I just remember a few months ago when Obama was getting all the blame for the market tanking..... now that it is going up the FRB is getting the credit.... interesting.

Obama and the FRB are working on the same page. I predicted that Obama's policies and big spending would create massive inflation. We are seeing the beginning of that. The FRB is printing money to pay for his policies. That devalues the dollar. Look at the price of gold and commodities such as oil. The DOW is "up" only because the dollar is worth less. There are signs that the recession is slowing down a bit, but we are not out of the woods just because the DOW is up a bit. Do you really want to jump on the bandwagon because we are at 9000+? Did you also notice that gold is at $960/oz? Did you notice that oil is up above $70/barrel again? I guess I can see why bumper stickers win elections.

I don't think gringa was making a big deal of the rise in the DOW.....she merely pointed out then when the DOW was falling it was considered the fault of Obama's policies.....now that it is rising well shucks, it is still a bad thing, but if it were a good thing, which you say it isn't...then would it be attributed to Obama's policies?

Yeah, Archer. TM knows exactly what I am saying. He is trying to cover his tracks. It is funny how he spins and twirls.

But, back on topic. I am very concerned for families. Times like these should bring families together but it seems to do the opposite. Why do you think that is?

The 24/7 news cycle whips the fires of despair. If all you hear is bad news it's hard to hope.
Hope. The last bastion of the inept.

That is not true. Every single human runs on hope. Without it we have no reason to live. Whatever that hope is, hope to see our children grow and their children, hope of the after-life, hope that we will find or keep love... it is the fuel that sustains our egos.

That's beautiful Gringa. Without hope we lose our humanity.

I didn't say it is a good or bad thing. I stated that if you look at the whole picture, it looks like inflation. Is inflation bad? It is to some, not so much to others. If you are a homeowner, inflation is usually a good thing. I really wish you guys would quit taking my posts, twisting them into something you want to argue with, and then putting on your little halos while condemning the strawman you built. It really is no wonder that RT posts the way he does.
