Come on RT- are you seriously suggesting that because the Republicans are in the minority that they shouldn't even take part in the conversation? If that's the case then you shouldn't even consider voting if your party will be in the minority because you won't have any representation. That's ridiculous. If they came up with a serious plan they could form a coalition with the Blue Dogs and force negotiations. I am suggesting that individuals, like Archer, quit blaming the medical industry problems on the Republicans. The democrats created medicare, medicaid, and many "programs" and laws.
Blue dog democrats are blue because they hold their breath until the Democratic leadership promises not to punish them financially and gives into some of their "conservative" leanings. In the end, the blue dogs are just a bunch of "green bitches" waiting their turn to get mounted by the checkbook of the DNC.

It would be interesting if you could actually show a post where i blamed the Republicans for the medical industry problems.....I don't blame them.,..never have...I blame us....the American citizens who are so complacent that we let others tell us what is best for us and never ask for better. Now we aren't asking, we're demanding, and it's about time. I would appreciate you not making up posts I never made....I have asked that before but you still don't get it. I don't care if you disagree with me....thats what debate is all about....but lying about what I have posted and about my opinions is dishonest. Are you always this dense?

Come on RT. Try to have a discussion rather than just blindly attacking everyone with a different ideology. Would you reform healthcare or are you OK with it sucking up 16% of our GDP? If you would reform it, how would you go about it? Put forth a little intellectual effort here. Please.

For the record, I have posted my solutions. However, I would rather have 16% GDP for medicine than 30% of the GDP being sucked up by governments.

I'd rather have the money stay with us, We the People. For profit health insurance companies make more money by denying than providing health care.

Why is it the same people who believe we have the best military in the world, the best trained and bravest troops in the world, can fight a war anywhere and win....all courtesy of the US government.....don't think that same government can handle running health care?

We also have, by far, the most expensive military in the world.
