I have had to come face to face with all my preconceived notions of Mexico over the past few years.... while Vallarta gets very humid because we are a semi-rain forest, the heat stays about 90 - 95 degrees all summer.... a little too hot and humid for me for a few months of the year because I was born and raised in Colorado.
But, central Mexico is fabulous both in weather and beauty. In the high altitude cities, the weather reminded me of Colorado on a summer day and night. I mean exactly. 80-85 during the day, down to 70 ish at night and no humidity. Afternoon rain showers, almost needing a jacket at times. It was perfect.
