Yes, well, let me know whenever you're of the mind to have a serious discussion with me that draws deeply on your academic accomplishments. Or, in the alternative, maybe you can explain to me - seriously - why you are (purportedly) a conservative. See, most educated conservatives I know and have read aren't like you. |

Well, TP, anytime you get to the point that you're serious about understanding Romans and justification, perhaps you should consult the works of Anglican biblical scholar N.T. Wright. Or maybe the new Finnish Lutheran interpretation of Luther, which you can read about here: http://www.touchstonemag.com/archives/article.php?id=13-06-041-b |

Don't need those opinions, already know the TRUTH. I read all your justifications that's cool enjoy. Can we agree that NOBODY will get into Heaven (not even the Pope) by their ACTIONS, but ONLY though the GRACE of God? P.S. You can STUDY until blood shoots out your eyes, and it's not going to matter to HIM! Edited by The Punisher, Apr 8 2009, 05:35 AM.

Ah.
Depends on what you mean. There's a bit of the either/or fallacy there, I'm guessing (faith or works?) which really doesn't do justice to all the pertinent scriptural data.

Yeah, we are all ignorant...... I will give you that. However, I have to question the ignorance of a person that spends his life studying, talking and blogging about the writings of Hans Christian Andersen.... fairy tales, you know, fairy tales. I rarely, if ever, defend TP, as you all know. But, I will have to say that even if his facts are not exactly correct or even coherent, he, at the very least, can see beyond the church. Something in which Nevski should aspire to. |
