With whom where? I confused... So, Wiffie and I after we got done target practicing, went by Wellington Lake. So, we're enjoying the afternoon, watching this guy fish... ALL of the sudden we hear this SCREAMING, Wiffie swings around and gets this rare shot on her camera... ![]() That damn fish just about took the dude nose off, I started first aid, and that fish took off dragging the pool, and tackel box with him, (the fishing line had gotten tangled up with the tackle box), He's fine, but it was the craziest thing I've even What a day... |

It appears spring is arriving and arriving fast. The sun is higher in the sky and the nights are not cooling off as they were. The humidity has jumped a notch. My skin and my plants love it but my body is already rebelling. I had the air-conditioner people out this morning to make sure the units were in good working order but there is nothing worse than needing air and the units are out - well, I guess that is not true, it is worse to have your furnace go out when it is -10 ![]() Anyway, the change of seasons is always a time for rejoicing and sometimes a little grieving at their passing but trying to keep with the mindset of the Mayas, the season is not gone, it will be back in a few months, so don't worry. I like that way of thinking. The circular or cyclic thinking of time rather than our straight thinking. |

we did the same exercise last week gringa....now that the daytime temps are approaching 90. The good news.....the AC is currently working.......bad news, guy says it is poised to quit any time (I won't even tell you how old this unit is), Seems some of the lines are trashed but it is so old there are no replacements for them. So looks like russion roulette with the AC till we leave in May, we really don't want to replace it this year as wer are considering a heat pump/AC in the budget for next year. However....the nights are so beautiful I refuse to stress over a mechanical beast....the orange blossoms are starting to fragrance the night air and the sky has been spectacularly clear. How nice, Archer. I love the smell of the orange blossoms. We don't really get to smell the changes of seasons here because the changes are so subtle. The tress fruit all year and the flowers never stop blooming. Once in a while you get to smell the beauty of the ions in the air before it rains - ahhh, how fabulous. And sometimes, the ocean smells really oceany - but that is plankton and not seasons
