Anyone ever played this series? Most kids think it's stupid, but when they play it their reaction is different. It was on the N64 in Japan, and was almost ported over to the US on the N64. Good thing it wasn't, because it would've been one of the last few games on that system, and probably wouldn't have as big of a fanbase that it has right now. So, ported onto the GameCube, which spawned a sequel to the DS; Animal Crossing: Wild World. About a month ago, AC made it's debut on the Wii with Animal Crossing: City Folk. The holidays are back from the first game (they were taken out from WW to avoid any religious controversies) and now each country has their own holidays, and if you do Nintendo Wi-Fi to somebody in another country with that holiday going on, they can get that item! Which is why we need George, or Karen to get this game, so we can get all of the items.

Very addicting, and it never ends. Each day brings something new and that's why I love this series. Giving up an Xbox 360 for this game will be worth it. Animal Crossing has always kept me busy, and this new game is a fresh start for me. I'm hoping most members with a Wii get this game, so we can all Wi-Fi, and maybe use WiiSpeak.

That wraps my summary up. Comments?

I'm asking for one for Christmas, though and I'll probably get it for Wii if I have enough money. =D

I'm getting a Wii for me and my brother, and I'm buying one with my GameStop money for over my Dad's house.

Just gotta figure out how to put Wii game saves on an SD Card, and how to keep saving over it so I don't have to get 2 City Folk files. Though, the Wi-Fi part might get screwed up. :-/

It feels like electricity running through my veins...
I have WW for the DS.

I don't think I'd like a console version though...

It's something I pick up and play occasionally if I'm bored...

I had it on the DS too... Oh the hours of addictive playing... I caught nearly every fish, bug and all but 3 fossils... I had the best house, due to time skipping :P, and I had no friends cuz they all left me ;_;

I was always fighting with my sis for that game... So goddam addictive ;_;

Pretty much same. City Folk is a casual want for me. =P
