Weroi attempted to open his eyes, they felt as if they had crusted over. A high pitch ring rang in his ears that made it impossible to hear anything. He couldn't hear himself groaning, but he could feel it. He opened his mouth and attempted to fumble about in galactic basic. "What the... Kark."
It took several seconds until his senses began returning to him. As they did, he had wished they hadn't. His left arm was bathing in blood. Instinctively he began to panic, then realized the blood was green. Unless he had changed species, his blood was definitely not green. He calmed himself and looked around the area. Eventually his eyes peered up to the grotesque sight of a mangled crew member. Her name was Shina, or rather, had been. A lovely female of some unknown species, he had liked her. Had.
He rose to his feet and watched as the rest of the crew was running around, shouting information and barking orders.
"Where's that pulse drive coupler?!" "I don't know! We have a leak on deck two and hull tears all around!" "Where's the captain damnit?!" "In space, Sir!" "Son of a gundark! I knew he was a flake! I'm in charge now helm, are we still connected to the Holonet?" "For a few more minutes at best sir, our signal is degrading!" "You!"
"Me?" Weroi groggily replied. He still wasn't fully back in reality, how could this be reality? What had happened? There was no time for questions.
"Open up a Holo link back to C.E.T, we've been hit and horribly damaged by an unknown enemy craft that has since left the area, You understand?!"
"Y- Yes, Yes of course!" "Then get going Damnit!"
The ships name was Fire Night, and approximately 13 days after launch from C.E.T. headquarters on Corellia, they had been pulled out of Hyperspace during a mini-jump and brutally assaulted by an unidentifiable craft. Presumably left for dead, the ship now floats closer and closer to its eternal damnation as its link to the Holonet is slowly severed and its life support deters in to nothing.
Weroi moved as fast as he could, half-tripping over boxes and tools and weapons, and bodies.

Andrew Fenlon stood in the tiny, battle-scarred communications room as he tried frantically to make any sort of valuable contribution to the ship's well-being. The cumbersome Rodian reached for his tools and slowly attempted to reconstruct the wiring that had unfurled during the unfortunate assault. His face reflected the florescent lights with his sweat and filth, and he breathed heavily from fatigue while staring into the many unintentional crevices of database array that had been struck direly by the opposer.
"Jesus Andrew, get your fucking act together. There are several wires that connect the central processor to the left and right network interface cards. It's not that fucking hard, HURRY UP."
Fenlon merely glanced over in belligerence upon hearing this words. He narrowed his eyes, nodded slowly, and went backed to "work". Though he had absolutely no idea what the hell he was doing, he was expected to repair an advanced computer in the space ship of the Corellian Exploration Team? Psha. Although it did make sense why this was asked of him, as he did stowaway in an attempt to escape the dreary conditions of the planet and arrive on the luscious and exciting Tatooine.
Just then, Weroi came sprinting in, panting heavily and slapped across the face with a look of sheer urgency.

Tavlan Ceko, the newly hired navigation officer aboard Fire Night, was hastening out of the communications room, his arms full of archaic paper charts, just as someone else came hurrying in. Their shoulders met, and Tavlan, a particularly slim Bith, was knocked backwards several steps, a few charts descending to the floor. He threw a glance at the stranger and recognised him as Weroi, one of the many crew members aboard the Fire Night he had barely even seen.

Weroi attempted to apologize but his mind was racing far too quickly to make any audible or comprehensible sentence. After several failed attempts he turned back towards the Rodian. He seemed to be as lost in this confusion as he was. It put his mind to rest for a moment before the ship lurched heavily to one side. An unfamiliar voice yelled across the comm system. "We're losing our stabilizer fields! Get an engineer over there now!" The comm went dead and Weroi took a step closer to the Rodian. As if Weroi had any sense of rank at all, he queried, "What's our status here?"

TH-04, more often than not simply referred to as "Thor" (As sentients had a habit of simplifying droid numbers into something they could more easily pronounce), jogged up to Weroi. The machine was a maintenance and communications model, and it wasn't bestowed with the programming of common sense that organics were blessed with. Thor stopped in his tracks with a heavy thud of metal feet on metal deck and spoke in a voice that, despite its metallic tone, still conveyed panic. "Sir, the hyperdrive has been deactivated!"

Now rolling his eyes in sheer humility at the circumstances, Fenlon turned his head over to the man with a slanted eyebrow and an ignorant expression.
"The uh... wires. And the sh-"
"Shut the fuck up jackass and make yourself useful. Hold my tool case while I do the real work."
This man, portly and somewhat abrasive, nodded to Weroi with an apologetic empathy for the way that Andrew was behaving. He sighed briefly.
"The processor of this database array was damaged, as were the wires that connect it to the network interface that allows us to access to holonet. If you want to make yourself useful, grab the solder and make some repairs."
He returns to work, impatient and extremely on-edge.

After the brief rundown, Weroi turned to see the droid looking expressionlessly at him. He was about to speak when another man came and grabbed the droid from behind. "Thor! You tool! You're supposed to be stabilizing the stabilizers! You're the reason we're one step closer to flying aimlessly in to a sun or an asteroid or a bigger sun! Get back over there damnit!"
With that, Weroi looked at the problem. The problem seemed to be that there was no way in the nine hells of Corellia, or was it seven?, that they would be able to fix this. Another shout through the comm system re inspired him with the motivation to at least try. "We've only got a few minutes before we're out of range, someone fix the damn Holonet already!"
